Brian Urlacher

The author is laying the blame for a Bears loss on Sunday on Brian Urlacher, in a way that is usually reserved only for coaches and quarterbacks. The Bears and special teams have single-handedly won several games over the past couple of years. Urlachar is their play caller and a team leader, but it's a bit of a stretch to say that a Bears loss on Sunday will be his responsibility. He doesn't get singular credit when the Bears win, and he shouldn't get singular responsibility for a Bears defeat. It's a ridiculous assertion.

Did anybody blame Ray Lewis for the Ravens loss last weekend? I didn't think so.

are you reallyyyy shocked, the writer is a JEW, what do you expect, do you think this chosen one would DARE write an article of this nature if the subject was the most overrated player in the HISTORY OF TEAM SPORTS mike vick....and they wonder why most white people are anti-semetic

When the Bears win, it's because the team played well together under Lovie. They lose and it's Urlacher's fault? If Brianplays great, as he did in last years's playoff, but the Bears still lose, his status will be diminished by virtue of the suggestion placed in of our minds.

What a load of crap! Heaven forbid that Urlacher, one of the sports few white superstars that isn't a QB, be marketed simply because he's that good. And heaven forbid that whites don't sh*t on him as not being athletic or any of the usual qualifiers for white players.

Wow, conspriacy theorists.

'Cept for the fact that most jews are white. But anyways, Mike Vick is no longer overrated because very few people, media or not, think he is that good anymore. I have not heard good things said about him in a while.

I LOVE TROY AIKMAN!!! yeah yall might not have heard...but troy called Urlacher the most athletic linebacker in the league...Troy Aikman is the least caste commentator in the NFL...

Don't let that one abberation fool you. Troy isn't that bad but I wouldn't call him the least caste commentator in football that's for sure.

[h=1]Brian Urlacher: Pack better without Jermichael Finley[/h]Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley said Wednesday the Bears are better without the middle linebacker. Urlacher responded Thursday with a recent history lesson about the Packers, who will play the Bears at Soldier Field this weekend.
"Just like a couple of years ago, I think, he (Finley) tore his ACL and the Packers were actually better without him. You know, they won the Super Bowl," Urlacher told SiriusXM NFL Radio, via the Chicago Sun-Times. "I hope we can duplicate that as well because it won't hurt my feelings if we go on and win the Super Bowl without me like they did without him.

Brian Urlacher has had an excellent career and is still a good player.

Brian Urlacher is an example that all white players are considered inferior because of their race by some of the racists out there. They can't wait to put him down.

In the minds of some DWFs the worst black player is better than the best white player. Some of these fans are among the worst black supremacists around.

One thing's for sure, Jermichael Finley is not, never was and never will be in Urlacher's league as a player.

The content of my posts may be obvious to you but it's clearly not obvious to large numbers of football fans, some of whom may come onto this site.

As far as I'm concerned these things can't be repeated enough. Look at the tsunami of anti-white propaganda that needs to be fought against.

It's disgusting that not a single team is showing interest in signing surefire Hall of Famer Urlacher. Yeh he's older and was slowed last season by injury, but if healthy he still has something left in the tank as he had very good years in 2010 and 2011. With all the less than scintillating starting middle linebackers in the league, Urlacher should have been signed now by someone, even for a one-year veteran's minimum deal.

Urlacher easily could play two more seasons at a high level. He's still a phenomenal athlete even if his speed isn't what it used to be. It's possible a team may want to sign him at some point due to injuries, but they'll have to pay him what he believes he's worth, which is the main reason he's retiring as the Bears didn't come close to meeting his contract demands.

Brian will be a first time eligible Hall of Famer, the first White linebacker to get in since Ham, Lambert and Hendrycks, who played in the '70s and early '80s. He's an all-time great, a tremendous blend of size, strength, speed, and football instincts and intelligence.

he's had a great career and for quite a few years was the only white defensive superstar, or at least at linebacker position.

Yesterday, ESPN analyst Antonio Peirce said something like: “You talk about the all-time great linebackers…Ray Lewis, Mike Singletary, Junior Seau…none of them had the combination of size, speed, and athleticism of Brian Urlacher.”

Despite his oratory shortcomings, Peirce is one of the better analysts on ESPN. He’s always been highly complementary of the Patriot’s offense and Jordy Nelson, for instance.

I agree with Backrow that in the early 2000’s, Urlacher was the only white “superstar” at his position. Personally, I never liked him all that much as a person. He fathered a bastard child with a black woman and speaks like a Negro. That said, he was an awesome player (a bit injury prone over the past 5 years) and could easily have played for 2-3 more seasons. It's a shame that the NFL will lose another white starter (and white football icon) for 2013.
