i admit to being biased, but i caught the replay of this game, and Leonard looks clearly quicker/faster than the other two backs being talked about by the so-called "experts," in addition to being a lot larger and more powerful. he really hits the gas pedal when he sees daylight.

however, you don't see him dancing around running left and right for a half-hour before being dragged down for a loss ... so, if doing that is the measure of a "real" running back, then he'll never qualify.

he did have another Leonard Leap, though. this time, it was behind the line of scrimmage after he'd already broken a tackle. he makes it look so effortless!

Well, it just gets more and more unbelievaable. More from Rotoworld:

"According to Bengals beat writer Joe Reedy, DeDe Dorsey has jumped in front of Brian Leonard in their battle to be the No. 3 RB.

Bernard Scott will be Cedric Benson's backup. Dorsey is a shifty, explosive kind of back that makes big plays and can play on passing downs. Assuming he doesn't make the team, Leonard will have a chance to catch on somewhere else thanks to his pass-blocking ability."

Once again, this may be wishful thinking on the part of the Caste sportswriter and/or the idiot who runs this DWF fantasy site, but if there is any truth at all in it, what possible hope can there be to ever stop this incredbile discrimination?

Did Leonard commit some secret offense in the past few days? From all accounts, even in the mainstream media, he was doing really well and was poised to at least be the third down back. Nothing exposes the fraudulent nature of the NFL more than this kind of nonsense- coaches and general managers gleefully plotting to keep more skilled players off the field in favor of lesser skilled players.

If Leonard ends up being released, he should call Mike Hass and Matt Jones and together they should file a class action discrimination lawsuit against the NFL. Edited by: bigunreal

This makes me so angry. Leonard only got 6 carries for 8 yards last game in a game he wanted a chance to stick it to his old team. These carries came with 2nd string blockers in, I presume, and lots of 3rd and short plays. Leonard ran for a key TD on a goal line run. He even had a 25 yard reception- and receiving capabilities are important for your "third down" back (as that is all Leonard will be allowed to be).

Yet Marvin "Thug Loving" Lewis promotes this criminally inclined Division II player- who wasn't half the player Woodhead is when you consider the complete picture- to second string based on one pre-season game. And you could argue he marginally outperformed Leonard considering how Leonard was used, his big reception and his goal and short TD.

Anything new on Leonard? I think he will stick (i hope anyways). Benson isn't a number one running back and Dorsey and Scott are both trash. Hopefully one of the two scrubs get injured in the last preseason game. This could all be media hype because the Bengals did seem high on Leonard when they traded for him and to utilize him as a 3drb.

I have already decided that I am not watching a single NFL game this season, and it is a high possibility that I will enjoy myself so much I might never watch another one again. I really enjoyed myself last season watching BYU and local high school games. Watching All these white kids play for the love of game was far more enjoyable than watching your typical NFL game where the affletes loaf around missing tackles and catches because they are lazy, inept, taking plays off or in general too concerned with acting like thugs. There is allot of white athletes who I would like to see perform in the NFL, but it is just no longer worth it given all of the nonsense of the caste system and knowing they will be insulted, degraded and kicked to the curb at the earliest possible chance for some ghetto thug. No hits to NFL.com, no Fantasy football, no ESPN highlights and no money to the NFL. Edited by: Bear Backer

Here's some going against reality by the Caste media. Can you hear the gears grinding? Where do they get this crap about Dorsey being "a more explosive pass catcher?" He has a whopping 6 catches in regular season games over his 3 year career. He had no catches his rookie season. Brian Leonard had 30 catches for 183 yards in 2007 and none last year. This ignoring of the facts by so-called sports journalists never ceases to amaze me.

(Rotoworld) Bengals.com gives Brian Leonard "the slight edge" over DeDe Dorsey to win the team's No. 3 running back job.

Analysis:
The Cincinnati Enquirer is giving Dorsey the edge. There's no doubt
that Dorsey is the more explosive runner and pass catcher, but
Leonard's pass blocking and versatility is hard to ignore. We'll know
the winner by Saturday.

for f**k sakes, we really get enough of this bullsh*t from the media, don't need freakin naysayers and toldyasoes in every thread...

we will see what happens, and in the caste reality it's extremely easy to assume that bad sh*t will happen to white players, however it serves no purpose to be pessimistic all the time.

i, for one, am tired of reading comments of this type, i'd rather gather facts and expose caste system without constant moaning and whining. we ALL know what caste is, but it doesn't mean we have to be so damn gloom about it all the time... i honestly don't know why some of y'all even bother with NFL and/or football in general. just drop it and watch hockey for crying out loud.

Backrow, I agree with you 100%. This Debbie Downer crap is becoming real annoying. I suspect these pessimistic peddlers never played a down of football in their lives. Enough already!

I am sure a little bit of us, those having played football, want to see Brian excell and want to see part of us be vindicated. Members who come on here and say the same old sh.t of our players getting cut or assigned to the practice squad, fullback and speed demon crap is not conducive to this forum.

Yeah, there is enough pessimism in the Caste System alone. We don't need anymore of it here. I get down about things sometimes, and occasionally post negatively here. I will try to keep looking on the bright side of things and stay positive. There are some good things to see this year, including an increase in majority white FBS teams. There is also a big crop of high school talent out there that we can keep our eyes on. I'm not looking forward to next week in the NFL, but
I am looking forward to the college season starting. Keep hope alive! Edited by: Colonel_Reb

That is the thing though. Even when some make positive comments on this site about players others get very negative. It goes both ways.

Message received. I will refrain from making any more negative comments. I appreciate this site as it is a clearing house for up to date information on white athletes that otherwise would be difficult to to find without it. For all that have been offended by my pessimism, please accept my apologies.I will look to change my user name to Pollyanna post haste.

White Noise I can understand how you get pessimistic- don't fret bro. It seems that usually a white tailback will only get a chance in the NFL when the black RBs (the real RBs..sarcasm) get hurt. Even when a white runs for 5 YPC and 5 TDs in 3 1/2 games started (basically Pro Bowl production) and was even getting better, it looks like he will be a backup again this year due to Knowshon being a 1st round draft pick and a coaching change.

But we have to look on the bright side sometimes too. The door has been kicked down enough for multiple white tailbacks to start in the FBS. A white who has lots of money invested in him as a draft pick like Gerhart, Sharp, Martinek, Burkhead, McGuffie or someone else will come along and get playing time due to the investment in him. Once he performs long enough and gets the fans and a job secure coach behind him- he will stay the starter. It's bound to happen. Wes Welker has proven that a white WR can make the Pro Bowl in our era despite everything trying to screw him every step of the way.

Truth be told even though I'm a moderate, I don't mind seeing less talented blacks sprain ankles, get turf toe etc. to see a more talented white get a chance. This is b/c the lie is slowly being exposed. Rivals is losing credibility.

I just don't like seeing people wish that a black- like LT or Knowshon who are not the creator of the caste system and seem like o.k guys- completely tear their knee up or have some serious chronic injury the will last permanently. The truth will be exposed through overrated blacks having contract "holdouts" and losing support, or blacks in front of whites missing a few games and having the white "backup" go buck wild. The door has been opened in the FBS and there will be enough whites soon enough at tailback to prove that Rivals and other media are a propaganda tool to emasculate whites.

Sorry for the long post, I'm just saying I realize White Noise that it's hard to be optimistic. But trust me when I say I see signs that the caste is slowly being weakened. If you can't stomach the NFL watch mostly college football as I will be doing this season.

This was Rotoworld's predictable take on Leonard's very impressive performance tonight:

"Brian Leonard rushed nine times for 64 yards and a touchdown and added two receptions for eight yards against the Colts Thursday night.

Bernard Scott, locked into the backup job, ran five times for 43 yards. DeDe Dorsey picked up 68 yards on 13 carries and blocked a punt. While Leonard's performance was impressive, he and Dorsey are still too close to call for the No. 3 job."

I support the right of every player to be given a fair opportunity to play. Since it's obvious that the best player doesn't always (or even usually) win the job, it would be intellectually dishonest to sugarcoat that. There is no way to be optimistic about the Caste System. When a highly productive back like Leonard can go from being praised in even the mainstream media as a solid #2 back, who seems primed to be used on third downs and on the goal line, to someone who is on the roster bubble in only a few days, then someone has to point out just how bleak the situation is.

Yes, there are always RBs, WRs and DBs that we all root for, understand how talented they are, etc., but in the end they seemingly all get screwed. There are a very few exceptions to this rule.

Some days we post when the glass looks half full, other dayswhen it looks half or completelyempty. The truth is that there have been dozens of Brian Leonards over the past 25 years and not a single one of them has been given a fair shot so anyone predicting a bleak outcome for Leonard on the Bengals is only predicting a scenario that has happened over and over again. Almost all have been totally screwed. Lurkers and on the fence types need to be reminded of that so they can understand just how unfair the NFL is. I didn't watch any of the games tonight, but all the fine white performances can be "excused" because they came against second teamers. I hope I'm wrong, but it will be a big upset if Woodhead, Amendola and the rest don't get cut in two days. Has anyonenoticed all the love Leon Washington has been getting this summer? If Woodhead makes the Jets and then actually plays some running back it'll rank as among the most unexpected developmentsof the past quarter century.

Good points, Don, as usual. We are probably all getting a little too excited and optimistic about tonight's performances. I think CF posters need to have "bulldog tenacity" in fighting the caste system. Whether things are going well or not, we must remain resolute in our efforts exposing anti-white discrimination and the myth of black athletic supremacy. It might take many years to see it fall apart, and it will take a lot of determination to see it through the lows. Positive things are happening no doubt, but it will take much more to topple the caste system. We must be realists about the situation while being optimistic about reaching our ultimate goal of seeing the end of the caste system.
