Somehow Terelle Pryor gets to start the final game of the season but Tebow doesn't. I am sure all the DWFs of Raider nation think he is their negro savior at QB. Pathetic
Leonardfan, just read Cleveland will start some guy named Thad Lewis this Sunday, so that's another thing to watch out for this weekend.

I'm sure the vast majority of the posters here at CF are at least 23 or older. Hence, most should remember the 2000 season fairly well. That year,
5 of the 12 teams that made the playoffs started young, black quarterbacks.
In the NFC, 4 of the 6 QB's starting in the playoffs where black: Philadelphia (McNabb), Minnesota (Culpepper), Tampa Bay (S. King) and New Orleans (A. Brooks or J. Blake).
In the AFC, Tennessee had a black starting QB. It could've been 6 of 12, as Baltimore began the 2000 season starting Tony Banks, but eventually went with Trent Dilfer, who was cut in Tampa to make room for Shaun King.
In addition, Detroit and Pittsburgh barely missed the playoffs that year with 9-7 records and both teams had young, black starting QB's (Batch and Kordell) that the Caste media believed would eventually become NFL stars.
Don't forget, Michael Vick was only a few months months away from being picked #1 overall, while the ultra talented Drew Brees slipped to round #2. Soon after Brees came off the board, Dallas and Oakland wasted second round picks on "super athletes" Quincy Carter and Marques Tuiasosopo.
My point, we've been down this road before. We all know the powers-that-be that run the NFL want more and more black stars, particularly at quarterback. After that late 1990's/early 2000's group of young, black QB's started to become busts or were deemed "mediocre", NFL teams seemed to shy away a bit from black QB's for a few years...then came busts like Vince Young, Jamarcus and Campbell.
Let's see how the current crop of young, black QB's fares down the road?
But don't forget, what we are seeing now is merely of repeat of fairly recent history.
