Holly crap Jimmy!! You just gave that boy a nice lesson!!! I don't know anything about Arkansas high school football being from Jersey but this guy doesn't know what he's talking about. He claimed that 300lb fatass is the best DT in Arkansas.

Hey JC, I love the way that you just take the gloves off and let 'er rip! I haven't seen STUNNA in these parts in awhile, maybe he's just lurking. You are correct, however, often times I can be entirely too "nice" to folks like this. STUNNA says that he coaches at Clinton MO high school. Now Clinton HS is a majority white team, with a couple of blacks in the normal positions, and theyaredreadful. Perhaps he looks at his team and thinks that if he just had a couple more "affletes", it would be better. Funny thing though, the only two wins that they had this year were against Westport and Center High Schools, which are much blacker schools from central KC! So you can try to figure out where he's coming from......

Also JC, STUNNA also went through great pains defending my all time "favorite" black RB recruit, Jatushun "Big Tex" (hah!) Beachum!

Geez JimmyC. If you were not on your high school debate team, you should have been. Ditto for college. Stunna got stunned. I hope he learns from it and is the better for it. If he really is a coach, he can make a difference, positive or negative.

<B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">As a reminder:[/B] Arkansas has six divisions, based on school enrollment, that play football in the state. The largest division is 7A, going down to the smallest, 2A. Class 1A includes schools that are too small to offer football. Private schools are forced to play up in size, meaning that they are placed in one division higher than their enrollment would dictate. (It is said they recruit, but they inevitably are all-white schools so is that even possible?)
********************************
I don't think I pointed this out last year, but Arkansas does a weird (and I think stupid) format for its play-offs. They don't seed teams like the NCAA Tournament does for basketball in order for the best teams to bang heads for the title, rather they set it up based on conference affiliations "¦ and it's done years in advance. Hence, you often have the best teams playing each other long before the State Championship game. And that happened again a couple of times this year. So I'll try to point out the results of those games, as well.
<B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">In Class 7A[/B] (the 16 largest schools in the state) all-White (minus a mulatto wide receiver) Springdale Har-Ber defeated nearly all-White Fort Smith Southside behind a smothering defense. Har-Ber's all-White defense, led by Class 7A/6A Arkansas Defensive Player of the Year safety Houston Pruitt, allowed just 20 yards of total offense in the first half and had given up just 67 yards of offense when they put in the back-ups late in the 4th quarter. Southside would finish with just 100 yards of offense in the game, and their only touchdown came on a fourth down after a blocked punt deep in Har-Ber territory. Junior quarterback Ryan Luther passed for two touchdowns and led the workmanlike Wildcats offense, earning game MVP honors. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
The game was a cakewalk for Har-Ber after they had won what was likely the real championship game a week earlier in the semi-finals. In another defensive slugfest, Har-Ber snuck by all-White Cabot (who had been the #1 rated team for much of the year), 10-7. The third team that had been considered a contender for the state title, all-White Bentonville (minus a black running back) had been upset by Southside in the second round.
This was the first State Championship in Har-Ber's four years of existence, but it was their second time to make the championship game. Not bad for a bunch of "over-achieving"Â￾ White kids, huh?
<B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">In Class 6A[/B] (the next 16 largest schools) fans had the treat of watching the ugliest championship game of the year. Mostly-black El Dorado defeated all-black Pine Bluff, 27-20, in a festival of turnovers and penalties. Pine Bluff's "amazingly talented and sure-fire Division One quarterback prospect" Claude Johnson rushed for 164 yards on 40 carries and also completed 10 of 27 passes for 167 yards and 2 touchdowns with an interception and likely would have won the game MVP "by a landslide" according to reporters ... if his scattershot throwing had actually been able to complete a pass on the Zebra's final drive of the game. Instead, he had four straight incompletions, and El Dorado ran out the last 2:20 on the clock. Of Pine Bluff's 71 offensive plays, Johnson accounted for 67 of them ... this despite him being "surrounded with Division One talent." The numbers, you see, tell a different story.
Pine Bluff reached the championship game after upsetting the #1 team (all-White Lake Hamilton) in the semi-finals.
El Dorado used a balanced offense and turnovers to win the championship. Likely the best athlete on the field was El Dorado's White Quarterback, junior Taylor Reed (6-3, 4.6 40; considered a D-I prospect but likely at wide receiver), but the best player was the tiny black tailback Cameron Mahone for the Wildcats. Mahone, the game MVP, scored the winning touchdown with a 7-yard run on third-and-goal late in the game and also scored a touchdown on a 52-yard interception return, had 10 tackles and one sack. For the record, he's 5-7, 170-pounds and runs a 4.7 "¦ yet dominated Pine Bluff's team who is "stacked with D-I athletes."Â￾
<B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">In Class 5A[/B] (the next 32 largest schools) nearly all-White Monticello took nearly all-black Camden Fairview out behind the woodshed and put a beatdown on ‘em, 38-7. The Monticello Billies were the lone undefeated team in Class 5A for the last eight weeks of the season, and they showed they are the most dominant in the same classification during the championship game.
Monticello's double wing offense is set up to let four backs carry the ball, and the Billies got quality production out of all of them. Three Monticello players had more than 100 yards rushing and each had at least one rushing touchdown. Senior wingback Brishen Mathews (the best athlete and fastest player in the game) led the way with 170 yards on only 12 carries (14.2 per carry) and a touchdown. Mathews also caught two passes for 25 yards and was named the Most Outstanding Player. Quarterback Joe Carmical carried 17 times for 117 yards and a touchdown (he scored at least one rushing touchdown in every game this season). Runaway beer truck/fullback Caleb Bryant ran for 2 touchdowns, including a 41-yarder that metaphorically broke Camden Fairview's back and literally left 6 defenders lying on the ground as he jogged backwards the last 20 yards into the endzone. Bryant finished the night with 74 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries. As a team, the Billies amassed almost 500 yards rushing.
"Brishen Mathews was a man tonight, going off for 170 yards,"Â￾ Carmical said after the game. "Caleb Bryant's a beast. They just couldn't tackle all of us. It was great."Â￾
Of course, every newspaper story of the game featured a photo of the one black player who touched the ball for the Billies, as well as putting his name in the lead sentence. Go figure.
<B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">In Class 4A[/B], the Championship Game was over almost before it started. All-White (minus their mulatto quarterback Kiehl Frazier) dominated nearly all-White Lonoke, 56-20. As is typical, Frazier got all the accolades after the game, but Arkansas high school's version of Danny Wuerffel (a decent quarterback surrounded with tremendous talent results in HUGE numbers for the quarterback) had a LOT of help ...
Tailback Chris Bryant accumulated 182 all-purpose yards, rushing for 98 yards and a touchdown on 17 attempts and catching a game-high 6 passes for 84 yards and another score. Versatile defensive back/tailback/wildcat quarterback Wilson Huett rushed for 71 yards and touchdown on 9 carries. Jake Scott and Zann Jones combined for 8 receptions for 100 yards, with Scott catching a touchdown pass. (Garrett Harper, a junior, and David Petrino, a sophomore, who are the two fastest players on the team missed most of the year due to injuries and didn't play in the title game, either.)
Shiloh, who is considered to be the top overall team in the state, had only one challenge in the playoffs "¦ against #2-ranked in 4A, majority-White Nashville "¦ in the second round. This should have been the State Championship game. Nashville went up 35-0, taking advantage of 2 interceptions and 3 fumbles by Shiloh's "all-world"Â￾ mulatto quarterback. However, Shiloh stormed back to win 51-49 in a barn burner. (I was there!)
In this game, one of the best receivers in the state was uncoverable. Nashville's Paul Morrow had 8 catches for 105 yards and 1 touchdown despite a defense that was doubling him and a quarterback with a weenie arm. I can only imagine what kind of numbers Morrow would have put up this year if his quarterback could actually throw downfield. As it was, Morrow ended the season with 61 catches for 1,004 yards, and 7 touchdowns. Most of those yards came after the catch, if you catch my meaning, but I doubt if any colleges are knocking down his door. Damn the caste system!
As an aside, defensive tackle Samuel Harvill had 8 tackles, including 2.5 tackles for loss in a dominating performance of disruption. I'll point this out again later.
<B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">In Class 3A[/B], nearly all-White Fountain Lake destroyed majority-black Prescott, 37-7. Fountain Lake had an incredibly hard-hitting defense and a punishing rushing attack and showcased both in the Championship Game. Prescott was held to 212 yards of total offense and a single touchdown. Fountain Lake has 4 players who've run for more than 500 yards this season, though their feature back is the negro Mark Makin, who is a talented kid. He runs with good power and is exceptionally slippery, but he doesn't have great speed. However, he is a lot of fun to watch, picks up a lot of yards after contact, and rarely fumbles. Mulatto quarterback David Gray also runs a lot, and is dangerous in the open field, but the Cobras also give the ball to two White kids a lot.
The true championship game in Class 3A took place two weeks before when Fountain Lake squared off against #1 (all-White) Charleston at Fountain Lake, in a rematch of the 2008 State Championship. Charleston was once again the more talented and faster team, but Fountain Lake's hard-hitting defense forced 3 turnovers and the Cobras offense took advantage, winning a slugfest 25-14.
<B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">In the state's smallest football classification, 2A[/B], nearly all-black Junction City beat all-black Bearden 24-14. Junction City won its second consecutive State Championship.
In this game, "all-world" negro defensive tackle Byran Jones was named MVP of the game for having 6 tackles (including 1 sack) and a fumble recovery. He won it the year before, too, with similar numbers. Weird ... especially when you consider the numbers in comparison to those put up by Samuell Harvill in what the strongman would consider a rather pedestrian performance.
<B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">Summary:[/B] Once again, all-White or majority-White teams more than held their own against teams with "real"Â￾ affletes, winning 4 of the 6 possible State Championships, including the largest classification and the state's top overall best team. And in a "bizarre"Â￾ twist, the two games that featured mostly black teams each saw the team with more White players win "¦ Weird, huh?

All the teams from my quadrant of the state either were overmatched or lost in mild upsets. So I can't contribute much about the playoffs this year. I just don't know the teams well enough.

My more general observation is that the transfers have gotten out of control. The AAA needs to find some way to shut down all the town-hopping. The schools could easily do it since they can set their own district rules. But I doubt you're going to find any schools who would reduce the playing time of transfer students. Not when football is the most important social activity in most Arkansas towns. Besides, I wouldn't be surprised if some afflete, when told extracurriculars were a privilege and he had to sit out half the season, would file a lawsuit claiming the school district was "harming his future earnings". And he'd probably win, too.

good point about the transfers, Riddlewire. there were a lot of them this year ... and they all seemed to be black kids going to a White school where they were "automatically" inserted as a starter, even ahead of White kids who had been dominant.

I see that a couple of short, morbidly-obese black DTs, have been posted in this thread, and that they're supposedly the "best" that Arkansas has to offer.

I watched a couple of North Carolina State Championship games on TV, and EVERY black OL (or DT) that I saw were short, and most were fat and waddling. It got me thinking.. Are blacks really taller than Whites? Are black football players taller than White football players?

Truth is, John Henderson and Richard Seymour and a few others, are the rare blacks that actually have height, but, of course, height alone does not equal great football player. Arm length does not equal great football player either. Here are some more examples of the "typical" black lineman:

Hollis Thomas
http://espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=1122

Howard Green
http://espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=3767

Tyronne Green
http://espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=12661

Nick Cole
http://espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=9905

Colin Cole
http://espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=4870

Brian Waters
http://espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=2450

Glenn Dorsey
http://espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11239

He's probably heavier than what he's listed at. Notice that this "monster" has but 1 career sack and 1 forced fumble..

Trai Essex
http://espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=8507

He's incredibly obese, he might not even be 6-5, and he's definitely WAYYY-more than 320 pounds!

Willie Colon
http://espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=9717

Absolutely disgusting build.
________________________________________________________________________
I think I made my point. The media would never worship Whites that are short and disgustingly obese.

Shiloh Christian will play a nationally televised football game on September 6, in Cowboys Stadium. the Saints will be facing off against Texas Class 5A Division I state champion, Euless (Texas) Trinity in the Herbstreit Series, the event put on by White-loathing ESPN talking head Kirk Herbstreit. the two teams square off at 10:30am.

Trinity finished the 2009 season ranked No. 15 nationally, while Shiloh Christian ended the 2009 season ranked No. 43 in the RivalsHigh 100 and returns most everyone from its title-winning team.

a total of 4 games will take place that day, and you can read more info about it on the link above.

Deadlift, i think you'll especially get pissed at this one ...

Arkansas "genius" head coach Bobby Petrino shows once again that he has no interest in signing in-state White talent (or White talent at all, for that matter). the latest evidence of his anti-White bias is the case of Travis Bodenstein, who committed today to Kansas.

bodenstein%202008%20copy.jpg

Bodenstein (6-5, 295; class of 2011) has been the top-rated offensive lineman in Arkansas nearly since he started playing forhis high school team. in addition to numerous other accolades, he has been named a 2011 pre-season high school All-American by both EA and Max Emfinger, as wellashaving beennamed to the Arkansas Super Team (the top 22 players in the state) as both a sophomoreAND a junior.it simply doesn't get any better than that ... oh, and he averages 5 pancake blocks per game.

Petrino didn't even offer him.
smiley5.gif

of course, that probably shouldn't come as a suprise. Petrino didn't offer Sam Harvill, either. Harvill, who in addition to also being an All-American defensivelinemanis literally the strongest 17-year old in the WORLD,but has been asserted to not have enough "upside" or "talent" or "functional strength" or some other mythical trait to be considered a "real" afflete.

below is a highlight tape of Bodenstein, who wasn't even considered a legit prospect by the Razorbacks.

I did see where Arkansas picked-up commits from Marcus Danenhauer & Austin Beck, and they had an offer to Mitch Hall (an Ole Miss verbal), and they have an offer to Brey Cook:

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Marcus-Danenhauer-97253

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Austin-Beck-106751

There's no picture, but I wasn't in any hurry to do any research to see what his ancestry is, but he "might" be White. A picture could very well be on the web, but I'm usually patient enough to wait for a Rivals pic.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Mitch-Hall-97255;_ylt=AtFo4oifWJ1tETPZp20Itc1HPZB4

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Brey-Cook-97252

The Kansas Jayhawks' have offered several White linemen, and many are from the Southeast USA. From watching his video, Travis Bodenstein appears to have good quickness and strength!

EDIT: In my original post, I said that Arkansas had an offer to Mitch Hall. Well, I just clicked on his profile, and I see that it's not listed there anymore. If they had an offer extended to him, they may have pulled it because he verbaled to Ole Miss, Houston Nutt's new stomping ground...

I feel Arkansas definitely is a state that is somewhat undervalued in recruting circles. We here at castefootball all know the real reason is b\c Arkansas has a talented white population and is not as black as some other SE states. Another state I think that is overlooked is Iowa. People are always shocked thatIowa recruits its home state well and is still competitive. I have seen article repeatedly referring to Kirk Ferentz recruiting 2 star players and "getting the most out of them".
If it weren't for most scouts and coaches blatantly refusing to scout\sign white recruits,Arkansas would be a hot bed.

I forgot all about that guy, stunna. He was a good representation of how a typical DWC (dumb white coach) thinks. He claimed to be, and I don't doubt him, a coach on the HS team in Clinton, MO, but like many coaches I know, when he sees the black skin, he automatically thinks "superior athlete", in spite of the evidence on the field right in front of him. I know lots of coaches who have this deeply ingrained. That is exactly the mindset, from youth football on up that we need to change for the caste system to be broken.

i just got in from watching a bunch of games at the Southwest Elite 7 on 7 Showcase at Shiloh Christian while up in that part of the state visiting friends. it was a pretty big event that was well put together, with a total of 16 teams present, including teams from NW Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

would it surprise any of you if i told you that the black teams all got smoked, the highly-rated black players looked completely inferior, and White kids who are said to be too slow, too stiff, and simply too over-achieving to ever get a scholarship offer dominated?

i suspect it doesn't surprise you at all.
smiley2.gif

there were numerous "division one" prospects in action, virtually all of which were black. this, despite the apparent best (and fastest and most productive and so on) players all being White. "weird" how that works, isn't it? ifyou don't find it "weird," i'll put things in perspective for you ...

Hillcrest (MO) upcoming-junior Dorial Green is said to be one of the ELITE prospects in the class of 2012, with Maxpreps currently rating him as the #2 Overall prospect and naming him their National Male Athlete of the Year ... asa sophomore. that is some heady stuff, right? his Rivals and Scout profiles show seemingly incredible numbers (6-foot-5 running a 4.43 40), and he has offers from everywhere from USC to Ohio State. if you type his name into Google, the first thing that comes up is from an idiot thread in aRazorback forum titled Dorial Green a freak.

but here's the deal ... how can all that be legitimate if he can't make a play againsta bunch of non-affletic, un-recruited, "stiff-hipped" White"boys" from Northwest Arkansas?

in the first game of 7 on 7 alone, where he was matched up against the all-White secondary of Rogers Heritage (AR), Green only managed one catch ... this despite his "incredible talent" and being repeatedly targeted because, according to his head coach, he istheir "only real offensive threat." oh, and he was covered by those "inferior, stiff-hipped" White defensive backs, too. so how did he put up such a small reception total? he did manage 4 drops, though.
smiley36.gif

he put up similar numbers in the one other game i saw him play in. forgive me if i don't jump on his bandwagon.
smiley2.gif

furthermore, if Green can really run a 4.43 40 and is really the best wide receiver prospect in the country, then theWhite cornerback for Rogers Heritage (who won't be recruited by anyone to play football anywhere) who didn't give up a single completion whilst covering the "super recruit", and broke up several passes, runs a sub-4.43 (as he was clearly faster) and is the best coverman in the nation. but again, no football program at all is interested in the White kid who can completely shut out the black superstar... "weird," huh?

this, my fellows, is what the Caste System is all about. the fictitious promotion of black "talent" in a player who can't actually play while simultaneously ignoring White kids who are better. this happens all across the nation, and it happens every year.

The Rivals representative for the state of Arkansas was on the radio yesterday (he's on every week) talking about Dorial (pronounced Duh-RELL, apparently
smiley29.gif
). After listening for a moment, I rushed to grab some paper and write down what he was saying. I only captured the plaudits.

Extremely Smooth - 3 times
Freakish Athlete - 2 times
Incredible Track Star

He had no negative words for Duh-RELL. Nor did he mention any actual football results (catches, yards, etc.) for Duh-RELL's career.

We have to stop being surprised when Rivals ignores record-setting white football players. They simply don't care what happens on the field of play. Only what happens at their combines (and then only if the kid is black).

i hope you gentlemen forgive the double post (i also posted this in the White Running Backs lead the way thread), but i wanted to make sure not to lose this information.

once again, it's likely that the best tailback in the state of Arkansas is a White athlete who has not yet received a single Division One scholarship offer ...
smiley7.gif

even thoughi'm stuck at the house tonight and unable to attend this evening's game, i've had the opportunity to watch Steven Kehner, of Glen Rose High School, play the past two weeks. enteringtonight's game, Kehner has already surpassed 1,400 yards on the season in just 7 games. yes, your math is correct. he's averaging over 200 yards-per-game. just to let you know how impressive those numbers are, he's not playing much in the second half.
smiley2.gif

i am going to share acouple of postgame reports thati provided to Riddlewire after watching each of the last two games that Kehner has played for Glen Rose. please enjoy.
smiley4.gif

belowis the recap of Glen Rose vs. Bismarck, a team who isn't very good
Kehner looked very, very fast and shifty, and appeared to be about 5-9, 185 or thereabouts (which is larger than the "scouting" sites list him).

he touched the ball 5 times in the 1st Quarter and scored 4 touchdowns. i'm not sure what his official numbers were because he had some big runs called back due to penalties, but he had 5 total touchdowns for the game on just 10 touches of the ball (perhaps 11, depending on how the official stats interpreted some of the penalties), and didn't step foot on the field in the second half.

in the 1st Quarter alone (on just 5 touches!), he scored on rushes from 2 yards, 84 yards, and 5 yards and scored on a 55-yard punt return.

one of the called-back runs in the 2nd quarter was a thing of true beauty. he started on a sweep to the left sideline, was forced to cutback and sliced all the way back to the right sideline before he juked through the defense all the way back to the left sideline. en route, he shook 8 defenders who got at least at hand on him. it was an amazing 64-yard run ... but a holding penalty nowhere near the action nullified a big part of it, including the score.

oh, and the last two plays of the first half were both impressive. on the next-to-last play, he took the handoff up the middle, juked two defenders in the hole almost off their feet before sprinting to daylight and jogging backwards into the endzone from 21 yards out ... only to have it nullified by a holding penalty. with the ball moved back 10 yards and only a couple of seconds left on the clock there was nothing to fear, asKehner took the next play off of right tackle and sprinted untouched around the edge for a 31-yard score.

belowis the recap of the Glen Rose vs. (heavily favored) Fountain Lake (defending 3A State Champions) game.

... as for Kehner, that is a far, far different tale. that cat is MUCH better than he's given credit for, regardless of how much praise he receives.

he's probably the best tailback in the state of Arkansas, but as of yet, i've heard/seen very little to make me think anyone that matters is even aware of him.

as i usually do when watching a prospective talent, i took notes at the game so my numbers should be very close to the official tallies. he ran the ball 23 times for 295 yards and 6 touchdowns. he scored (in order) from 51, from 15, from 5, from 4, from 45, and on the very next drive(in fact, the very next play) when they needed to put the game away he scored on the first play from scrimmage... from 71 yards out. Fountain Lake did all they could to keep the ball away from him in the kicking game, and he only had one return (for 20 yards).

i could go into detail about some of his runs, but suffice it to say the kid has moves that leave your mouth wide open and leaves defenders literally sprawled wide-legged on their backs on the field. yes, even on the sure footing of the new astro-turf at Fountain Lake. he's damn good.

he's got everything you could want in a 5-9, 185-pound back: the vision, the patience to set up blockers, the wiggle we hear so much about, and he runs both through arm tackles and between the tackles, unlike so many speed backs at this level. he has an extra gear that is impressive, but even more impressive to me is how quick he gets to that gear. his acceleration takes your breath away. he's even got a bit of a mean streak, which opposing fans/players hate and denounce him for. he's "arrogant," you see. in reality, he's got the total package ... except for the requisite black skin, of course ...

what's "funny" is how many of the idiot White fans who see him insist that he's too small. when i point out that he's bigger than many of the black Razorbacks they cheer for on Saturdays, they are dumbfounded and say, "Really?"

the willing stupidity of our White kindred is nigh limitless, i suppose.

Kehner has already surpassed 5,000 career yards and is rapidly climbing the all-time rushing lists in the state. with his team 7-0, he's got a chance to make a playoff run which should see him soar up the Top 10 historical list. with his incredible production on a team that hasn't been any good at all until this year, and with his 4.4 speed, you'd think teams would be falling all over themselves trying to get him to commit. but alas, no one with the power to make it happen seems to even know this kids name.

Interesting prospect Jimmy. He looks like he'll be screwed over just like Dillon Romain was here in Jersey. As I suspected there is no rating for him because apparently despite great production and athleticism he doesn't count as a "real" athlete.

i've not yet seen/heard how Kehner did in his team's 51-10 win last night, but here's the report from his game last week.

... Five touchdowns by senior running back Steven Kehner gave the Beavers the edge in the contest in Centerpoint. Kehner put the first points on the board on a 37-yard scamper with 7:18 left in the opening period of play ...

With 1:38 left in the first, quarterback Collin Hunter handed the ball off in the backfield to Kehner who made the corner on the near side and then just blew by the CHS defenders on his way to the end zone ...

... It only took three plays and 63 ticks of the clock for the Beavers to strike again. With 11:11 left in the second, Kehner ran it in from the 50-yard line ...

If you thought the earlier quick touchdown by the Beavers was in the blink of an eye, think again. Kehner took the ball almost the length of the field, taking it 92-yards for his fourth TD on the night with only 37.2 seconds ticking away. Kehner carried the two-point conversion in to make it 41-12 with 2.7 seconds left in the half.

The Beavers scored two more times in the third quarter of play. The first came on a 6-yard run by Kehner at the 8:27 mark ...

Kehner finished the night 295 yards closer to reaching the 6,000 mark on just 14 carries for an average of just over 21 yards per carry.

if my numbers are correct, through 8 games Kehner has a state-leading 1,777 yards on 142 carries (12.5 yard-per-carry average) for a state-leading 29 touchdowns. with merely 4.4 speed and those pedestrian performances, one can easily see why Division One football programs aren't pursuing this kid.

just another "average day" for just another "average athlete," eh? yep, no reason at all to think this kid could help a collegiate program at all. nope, there's nothing to see here. talent is all that matters.

now, if my math is right ... 1,777 + 313 ... carry the one ... = 2,090 yards on 152 carries. that's ... er ... a mere 13.8 yards-per-carry. and "only" 34 touchdowns.

just imagine what he could do if he had some talent.

Those are mind blowing numbers from Kehner! What an absolute disgrace that this kid isn't getting any offers.
