Yes Reiner was into whatever hippy leftist cause was the flavor of the month.

I would say his son was a vessel for evil forces, I had issues with my mother over the years but once her health waned all of these issues ended but his crazy son harbored deep seated hate that manifested with a probable sneak attack on one or both parents.

I think this murder will spur hiring of armed security services similar to the panic in Hollywood after the Sharon Tate murder 55+years ago.

From what I read about Reiner he and his wife were absorbed in their work and ignored the deep seated character flaws of their disturbed son. Also when hundreds of dollars are the equivalent of spare change in the sofa his son could indulgence himself on drugs and pleasures of the flesh without anybody noticing the missing money.

I saw a clip of this the other day after the murders and I can't remember where I saw it, but it's so shockingly vile it makes me wonder if the son had legit reasons for what he did.

Disgusting creep Al Franken 'jokes' about child rape in the Reiner family while Reiner and the audience laugh hysterically.

 
Putting aside it's sickeningly vile nature, there's nothing remotely funny about Franken's routine. Maybe it was some kind of humiliation ritual as some of the comments on YouTube mention.

"Comedy" in general is increasingly unfunny, not just the extreme left propagandists like Colbert and Kimmel but even the supposedly right wing Greg Gutfeld, who relies on dirty and pervy jokes too much. I tuned in the beginning of his show last night and the audience didn't laugh at any of his jokes and Gutfeld seemed like he wanted to be anywhere but on set.

Polack of course is a slur referring to Polish people. They would repeatedly use the word "Polack" and sometimes entire routines were based on "Polack" jokes. I was way too young to be racially aware then but would be willing to bet that it was nothing but Jewish comedians telling those jokes.

Off on a tangent a bit, but the Beatles went on The Ed Sullivan Show for three consecutive weeks early in 1964 and it was a huge event, replete with the screaming girls in the audience that for years were a fixture everywhere the Beatles went. This was just a few weeks after the JFK assassination and it served as a way to help the country get over some of the trauma of the assassination and the national grieving that went with it, an event which still reverberates very strongly today given that in retrospect it was a coup to forcefeed the Permanent Cultural Communist Revolution and the rest of the anti-White, globalist agenda on Americans and the West.

I recall seeing Bob Hope getting laughs with an Italian immigrant jokes about spicy food and being dumb and ignorant but even in this era racist jokes against certain golden cows were out. I seem to recall reading about Amos and Andy being pulled off the air because of civil rights protests by the NAACP.

These days only rural Whites/rednecks are punching bags and to a lesser extent Italian Americans with Sopranos type stereotypes and Irish Americans for excessive drinking but that might be dying out too.

Maybe Reiner had a W in front of his name and used it with his son? Maybe his son saw this facrce for comedy and seeing his father laugh it enraged him and this time gave his father the pistol?
