Wow a draw. I thought Andy was going to get destroyed after the 1st 2 rounds. I caught them at work but raced home to catch the main event. Andy has to correct his balance. He chin is glass. Does anyone have an assess of the total fight by Andy?
Lee made adjustments and boxed more intelligently, while Quillan became more cautious and his work rate dropped after Lee knocked him down. Quillin has nothing but a fast right hand. After Lee made the adjustments to deal with it, he was in control of the fight.

I had Lee winning 114-112.

You can never count Lee out, he's come from behind many times now.

So far up until Andy's draw all of Haymon's PBC fighters have won, ie. negro. His vision and network cards will continue to brainwash DWFs that only negroes win in boxing. I am hoping that Danny Garcia will destroy Peterson, to ruin Haymon's negro night. Damn, Peterson put on 20 lbs over night. 3 lbs over the middle weight limit.

Thanks. Carcharias knocked down Quillan down as well?

I won't argue the draw, but that supposed knockdown in the 3rd was stepping on the foot. I had Lee winning the later rounds.

The PBC crew of Leonard, Albert and some other moron are so bias for Haymon's fighters. Peterson has been running and hardly landing anything. Garcia the effective aggressor. PBC crew thinks Peterson is throwing a shutout. sheesh.

Leonard always roots for the Negro boxer.

And Marv Albert is Jewish, so we know he'll favor a black over a Hispanic (and side with any race over a white man).

Garcia in the 6th was nailing Peterson. Leonard and Albert are pretending not to see it. Frauds.

Garcia continues to nail Peterson, Ray and Albert are purposely oblivious to it.

I'll take a draw. Especially in Quillen's hometown, and it looking like a blow-out in the first couple rounds. Quillen reminds me of Donald Curry, with more punch. He had Lee loopy with that first knockdown, but Andy has been there done that and came back very nicely.

Two judges had the right scorecards for Garcia-PEDerson. :thumb:

Garcia wins by MD.

PEDerson has some good boxing skills but lacks sufficient courage for a prizefighter/ He ran WAY too much.

Just watched the entire fight. Lee has regressed. Poor head movement, no commitment to the right jab, herky jerky movements. Just a mish mash of uncontrolled energy. It time to hire a new head trainer. I recommend Virgil Hunter or Joe Gooseen. A trainer who can refine his jab and head movement. I love Lee's courage at the elite level, but he should have KO'd Quillan and not have be caught in the 1st round. Quillan fought scared the entire fight. Even Quillan realized this. I understand loyalty. Lee should keep Booth as the 2nd trainer and get an elite trainer to refine his pedigree skills. He can get by Saunders, but Triple GGG will destroy him.

I'd pretty much written Andy off when he struggled so much with Craig McKewen. His boxing was so sloppy. He had too many KO's early in his career and he was knock-out happy. But I think he's added some guile to his game which let him get back into the fight this time. I'm quite happy with his performance against a very dangerous opponent.

Lee has retired. Good call on his part. New husband and father had a lot to do with it. No scrambled brains for Andy. He always came to fight and had many hi-light reel KOs. Thanks Andy for exciting fights win (mostly win), lose or draw.

Lee is a great boxer and had a very impressive career. Good power and lots of heart to go with his skill. Sucks to see him hang it up, but it's a very smart decision. He's already proven himself!
