All the best white players of the modern era grew up in very non-black places.

When Dirk was 15, he was in Bavaria in 1993.

When Jokic was 15, he was in Serbia in 2010.

When Stockton was 15, he was in Spokane, Washington in 1977.

When Luka was 15, he was in Madrid in 2014.

When Nash was 15, he was in British Columbia in 1989.

When Ginobili was 15, he was in Argentina in 1992.

Cooper Flagg grew up in Maine.

Different sport but Riley Moss and Cooper DeJean both grew up in Iowa and played there through University.

It's a well established phenomena at this point. If there are blacks available, the whites will get racially slotted. Most of the exceptions to this rule are either nepo babies or had to walk on/transfer.

Interesting take. The Watt bros are from a town of 30k, an hour outside of Kilwaukee. 92 percent honkey.

this anecdotal evidence supports what i wrote about several years ago in the thread titled Just run, baby!

to summarize, the only place you will find fast White sprinters is where there are only White kids available. if there are blacks available, you won’t find any Whites participating in the sprints.

Absolutely. If Luka was born in Detroit, he’d be an accountant. Jokic, Bird, Luka, Austin Reaves, probably never met a black person in their childhood. I’m pretty sure Lemaitre grew up in a White part of France. They weren’t racially slotted and brainwashed with the myth of black supremacy in sports. Unfortunately, Matthew Bowling grew up in Dallas. Apparently he believed the myth, eschewed the “White Lightning” moniker, and allowed his college coaches to move him to the more racially appropriate 400m.
