Singleton really stood out last season - explosive player. Hopefully he plays well this year. It's a shame about Gerry though.

After 9 weeks, Alex is tied for 4th in the NFL in total tackles. That is insane considering how his snaps decrease on a weekly basis, as Don has diligently documented. Can you imagine the outrage if Bobby Wagner, Roquan Smith, Denzel Perriman or Eric Kendricks snaps were drastically reduced? Of course not, as those guys tackle totals will be used to tout their great seasons and likely lead to pro bowl selections. For Whitey, it’s back to a reserve role.

Alex Singleton is clearly one of the best inside linebackers in the game. Yet his Pro Football Focus grade is an extremely low 44.7, which is ludicrous.

I suspect some teams are actually using PFF to rate their players. The Eagles might be one of them.
