Since 2005, Iowa State has started 14, 12, 8, 9, 6, 11, 10, 11, 10, 9, 5, 6, 11, 9, 9, 10, 10, 9, 12, 10 and 11 White players. In 2026 the Cyclones project to start 12.

Jimmy Rogers comes over from Washington State and several of his players are following him. Unfortunately, he didn't get the right QB in the portal!

Lot to like and good to know the program is staying White friendly after Campbell’s departure. Snowplow and majority White defense is cool but I’ll be looking for some White skill players on offense. Of course, the QB position needs a White athlete after this lousy transfer.

Aiden Flora is a guy to watch. he has the “it” factor with the ball in his hands as a runner, receiver, or returner. explosive and shifty, he’s a threat to take it the distance on any play. and to think he started his collegiate career as a walk-on … “weird,” huh?
