2026 College Football Week Two

Memphis TE Hunter Tipton has 4 receptions for 178 yards and a TD….at halftime. Hope he can really go wild with more in the 2nd half against Boise State.

Ohio State not even breaking a sweat in manhandling Texas on offense and defense. Arch Manning has to do something or people will wonder if he shows up in the big games.

4-star freshman John Hebert is gonna be awesome (read the Houston Cougars preview for more info). His first touches of the game on consecutive plays. 9 yard rush. 13 yard rush. Short pass he takes for 20 yard touchdown!

Trent Walker was also finally involved, but now it was with the backup QB and others….

Longhorns receivers suck to be blunt. Wingo just dropped a sure TD and the INT was the result of #8 somehow letting the ball deflect off him and bounce up for the DB to intercept.

Leavitt has been shaky for LSU. 2 INTs tonight including a pick 6. Noticed a White DL for La Tech - Lane Condry with 2 sacks.

edit: 3 INTs now. He is forcing throws into traffic.

Easton Messer is another receiver putting up video game numbers today - 7 for 169 and 2 TDs in the first half against Navy.

That’s just absurd. Manning couldn’t have done much better there.

Awful playcall by Sarkasian and Sayin makes them pay. Buckeyes look like a much better team.

A defensive lineman took a fake punt 56 yards to the house for Tulsa. They're having a tough time with Sam Houston State. A lot of favorites struggling tonight.

From earlier…

Hebert up to 5 carries for 65 yards and a TD. Plus that beast mode 20 yard TD catch and run above.

Edit to add: next drive sophomore White RB Zane Smith rips a 28 yard carry on his first touch.

OSU about to upset Oregon, Mestemsker and Wyatt young leading the way

Awesome to see a white power 4 freshman running back getting touches, regardless of opponent. Good sign for his future. It’s not often our guys get a single carry under any circumstance early in their careers.
