2025 Track Results

Victoria Cameron is in lane 1 for the final, she is in tough as she is tied for the slowest PB in the field. She will need to run sub 11 with at least a very low 10.90ish to place top 3..... good luck to this speedster!

We had some real personal break throughs for the Mens German Sprinters today at the Sparkassen Gala in Regensburgh Germany!

Yannick Wolf ran a new p.b of 10.05 +1,1 in the prelims and won the A Final in a time of 10.15 +0.5! So he broke his personal best twice from before today. It shows that he is in really great shape! Yannick Wolf is 25 years old so he is about to start his his prime years of sprinting!

21 year old Heiko Gussmann ran a time of 10.15 + 1.7 so that is a new personal best! Outstanding talent at such a young age.

German Sprinter Kevin Kranz ran a blistering time of 10.13 +0,6! Julian Wagner & Alesander Askovic ran times of 10.22 & 10.23! Even another young sprinter Jan Eric Frehe ran a 10.28 for a new personal best. He is 22 years of age.

It must be that Great German Beer as these young germans are running strong! :coleman:

Most people forget that Yannick Wolf ran a wind legal 10.08 last year. So this 10.05 new p.b. today doesn't suprise me. Let's hope he can get over the hump and nab that sub 10 as soon as possible. Always lean too. Julian Reus missed a sub 10 by relaxing & not leaning in a race he won easily. Don't make the same mistake. We need a WHITE GERMAN to go SUB 10 WIND LEGAL this SUMMER!

Savannah Sutherland wins the NCAA women's 400m hurdles in a Meet Record and Collegiate Record time of 52.46!
She breaks Sydney McLaughlin's collegiate record by 3/10ths of a second!

Also Roisin Willis of Stanford won the women's 800m in 1:58.13, which is a Meet Record.

The complete German Track Meet from Regensburg on youtube. The sprints were fantastic for both the men and women. You can go to about the 2 hour and 50 minutes approx. to watch them and there are alot of them!

If you go to the 4 hour & 11 minutes mark that is Yannick Wolf running his time of 10.05!

Simon Hansen of Denmark had 2 races today, and performed well.
10.14 (-0.1) and 10.12 (+1.9)

Thanks for posting this. I had no idea as it's not on the top lists yet. The 10.12 is just 1/100th of a second of his p.b of 10.11. I think it's safe to say he will break it this year. Let's hope for a sub 10.05!

Holy cow, it looks like my pessimistic post really worked. These guys are making me look dumb and I’m ok with that. I think Kennedy can run a 9.8x very soon. A 9.98 into a -0.7 wind is very fast. Congrats to him and Kalen Walker!
good for you!
Like you, I'll take looking dumb any day if a great result comes along to make it worthwhile LOL. This season is starting very well

For countless decades whites were told that they could never run wind legal sub 10's! These stereotypes became psychological programming and it worked like a charm. Many white gave up the sport or went into other events or sports. Things are slowly changing. I always thought that once one guy did it then others would follow. We have to always give Christophe Lemaitre so much credit. He started this whole change in the white mindest around 15 years ago. Exciting times are coming in the future.

Someday I believe white male & female sprinters will compete for medals again on a regular basis.

The only scary part is this. Whites only make up 7% of the population of the earth. Whites need to have more kids or we will go extinct!

I had a funny conversation with ChatGPT the other night. I asked the simple question of whether black people are faster or not. It boldly denied that any race is faster than any other. It simply stated that there are a multitude of factors that come into play, some being genetic and then it went on to say that anyone of any race can possess those genetics. It did acknowledge that it seems there may be more black people in sprinting with those genetics but it also said that black people often come from a culture that cares a lot about sprinting which funnels more people in. It basically was saying that no race has a claim on sprinting. It wasn’t really the answer I was expecting but it seems reasonable and sound.

I would also like to add that it stated that anyone who can run the hundred in low 10’s is an anomaly regardless of their race as almost nobody is capable of that except for a few hundred guys each year.

Something I find really interesting is how many nations figure in those numbers -but the Germans haven'y given us ONE yet

27 women are in the top 160 at sub 11 with Patrizia Van Der Weken of Belgium at 11.00 and improving

One thing I did not notice when I watched Sutherlands race the first time is that there was 3 white girls in the final. Also Sutherland is the second Canadian to win the womens NCAA 400mh the other being Sage Watson(2017) in the last 8 years....more white Canadian girls need to follow this and say I can do it too!

Femke Bol 52.11 for the win in the Stockholm meet, won in my opinion quite easily from Delia Muhumad. She pulled away just before the last hurdle but still was not full out....
