2025 Track Results

Drew Donley ran 20.59 200 meters on 3/21/25 which was the fastest of the year in the NCAA at that time.

Austin Metcalf's father made a big thing of "forgiving" his son's killer.

This will probably be plea-bargained with the perp getting out after 7-8 years.

Personally I would never forgive that piece of shyte! Let him go to prison with all the big boys, pay the price then go to hell.....

Smells like a racial psyop. Particularly with “Karmelo Anthony” character, the father offering forgiveness, dying in the brother’s arms, track star.., just be careful offering any emotional energy to such a storyline.

correction of video remarks above- she isn't the Australian champion, not even the under 20 champ. She the under 18 Australian champ

Incredible time!!
Especially considering she's still in high school!
Never heard of her before either. :)

Australia is moving up internationally in the Sprints. Great to see along with some of their outstanding Field Athletes.

This time is sensational and she is only a baby. Her stride length and power is incredible for that age. Congrats to Leah O'Brien.

Reminds me of Lemaitre. Once she hit top speed she just walked away from everyone. With her physical build, the sky is the limit.

yes, Matt Denny just threw Discus in the States this week out to 72.07 to go number 5 world all time. His first time over 70 after getting to 69.96m late last year. 28 seems to be a good age to peak for throwers.
Our women's 2000m world record holder, Jessica Hull, continues to improve her flat speed by running 800 in 1.58.58.

Fellas, don't forget the Australian athletics 2025 champs are on now. They started nearly a week ago with the young age groups and they finish the under 20s group today (Thursday our time). Then from tomorrow it's the turn of the open athletes

I think most of north America is basically 15 hours behind us

even if you can't get it "live" there will be reliable constant result updates.
So .... what will the weather bring us?

Saturday the boys will be racing again at the same ground where 6 of the above listed times were set 6 weeks ago. I expect some more PBs if the same weather conditions apply.
I hope they all hang around for the relays. My state (NSW) alone has a team that can break 38 if all are running to form
Browning (10.01), Azzopardi (10.09), Sultana (10.11), Ius (10.24, compact & terrific bend runner as seen in the recent Aust. record run)

Should be a burner with Kennedy going sub 10 if everything clicks. I truly hope Jack Hale goes at least 10.15 or better but most likely 10.20ish....

This my friends on this board is why I finally switched my avatar. Only the 3rd avatar I've had here in 21 years. I had Christophe Lemaitre,
Matthew Boling and now Lachlan Kennedy.

He ran a 10.00 wind legal like a jog in the park. Love this kid. So exciting to watch as he lights up the track!

Wow jacknyc/WL !! If Kennedy would've been pushed, he would have went under 10! Thanks, gentlemen for the updates. Difficult for me to post on every thread. Glad you guys are here!
Keep us updated on Kennedy and others!

Matt Denny throws discus 74.25m in Oklahoma to be 10cms from the Lithuanian's recent world record. To my American friends that's 243.5 feet.
( it must be a drag retrieving your own throws in practice when you throw that far)

That is a phenomenal throw! I posted Kennedy's race in his thread and updated his new personal best which I expect him to break in the semi finals or finals. I will predict a new p.b. of 9.96 wind legal.
