Shipley did take a lick from Liufau the Poly LB. Hope he’s good.
 
Again Chrissy making excuses. That ball was under thrown. Should have been a TD to Ferguson if you lead him into the end zone. Instead it bounces off the back of Baun’s helmet.

Next play White on White crime with Blankenship crushing Ferguson..

Yeah, one of my pet peeves in watching football. When my son was playing Junior All American football for the Rialto Panthers as an 8 year old he played DE on defense. His job was to move the tackle back and contain the edge. Especially with all of the revolutionary running supa afflete youngsters playing QB in that league. Needless to say, he had plenty of tackles and most of them for losses.

I wouldn't play in a thunderstorm either, but they wait until 20 minutes after the storm is long gone to consider restarting the game. Yawn. Of course Melissa Stark is still very attractive at the ripe old age of 52.

Eh hour delay is a bit much. It totally killed momentum of the game. Last 20 minutes was rough to watch.

I believe this is something different.

I think that these mid-game "severe weather delays" are part of the Global Warming Agenda, which has now been rebranded as "climate change." This is another one of those cases where a bureaucracy, whether the causation is pure evil or simply inane overgrowth (perhaps a blend), simply out-kicks its coverage.

Here is one of my anecdotes: I attend New York Red Bulls soccer games in Harrison, NJ, which is a suburb of Newark and its airport: a crow's flight of 2-3 miles. Last year, there were THREE separate mid-game weather delays. The NY Red Bulls are small potatoes, but I noted after the first that a big game in Germany at Munich's mega-stadium that weekend was delayed for the same reason - perhaps some synchronicity. The stinker to me is that Newark International Airport let its last flight depart the better part of an hour (iirc 32 minutes) AFTER the sports game on the more distant side of the weather pattern. I looked it up during the drive home after leaving "mid-game."

The first NFL mid-game weather delay EVER was in 2018, in the season opener between Miami and Tennessee (September 8). Two different lightning delays, btw.

I just wrote a bunch of stuff and then deleted it, but I believe this "weather" BS is some combo of fake (it can't actually hurt us) or manufactured (designed by our government to hurt us on purpose).

But you could just ask AI when fans have ever been hurt by weather attending sports.

Why do the weather advisories tell fans to "get inside" their stadiums on account of lightning, but at no time in history has any gov told people not to drive their floating metal boxes?

Just realized Shipley got hurt returning a kick. Get him off the damn kickoff.
 
I was at a party last night in Philly for the game with 20 or so people (90% blue pulled to the caste system) and the good news is that the cb play opposite q mitchell ie adore jackson was SO bad even the wives and gf’s were noticing it. I mentioned how the eagles should put dejean there but won’t bc he’s white. Pretty much everyone, guys especially as there caste programming kicked in, defended the eagles and kept saying how nickel is Dejeans best position. Nonsense I said Dejean locked down Marvin Harrison jr multiple times at Iowa and was arguably the best cb in the Big 10 for 2 years. And as the game went on more and more people started to concede that the eagles should put Dejean on the outside bc of just how awful the cb’s were. It’s a start at least. And of course on the last cowboys drive when the one time dejean was on lamb he and Reed force a tight throw into a small window that dak can’t hit.
 
Also anyone else catch Tirico exclaiming “Nickel!” after Dejean made a good play in the 4q? It’s like he needs to re-emphasize to the audience this white man plays nickel not outside corner, that’s only for black men

It was even that way back in the ancient days of the 1970s. The old ways have been forgotten.
 
Perpetually injured Darren Waller comes out of retirement and immediately becomes injured. But then again, given how fragile some of the White players we follow are becoming, maybe I shouldn't make fun of him:

Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel said Darren Waller (hip) is doubtful for Week 1 against the Colts. Waller’s return to the league continues to go horribly. After missing nearly all of training camp to get into football shape, the veteran tight end has gone from being on track to return in Week 1 at the start of the week to being a DNP on both Wednesday and Thursday. McDaniel reports Waller suffered a setback ahead of Thursday’s practice, giving us little reason to believe he’ll be on the field on Friday. It wouldn’t be surprising if he is officially ruled out before the weekend, paving the way for Julian Hill to draw the start. It should go without saying, but there’s no reason to jam Hill into a fantasy lineup this week.
