2025 NFL Week 11

He and his team are still riding high but I can see going for it too often on fourth down eventually contributing to his downfall. Hope it doesn't happen as I like him and his team, but he takes it to an extreme. You definitely want the points on a windy night like this.

Yea, if the game dictates going for it then absolutely but their defense was playing great. Just have to take the points. Now a total momentum shift.

And the eagles get a terrible PI call to seal the game. Even aunt Crissy called out how terrible that call was.

I continue to be amazed at the number of XP that are missed. There is simply no way that should happen, but it seems to routinely happen now.

I do not recall this in years past.
I looked up the stats on Pro Football Reference. In the 2015 season, the first year of the XP being moved back, the success rate was 94.2%. It's mostly hovered around the 93%-94% range since then, and it's actually improved to 95%-96% in the past few years. This year, the success rate is 95.6% so far, although that stat hasn't yet been updated with this week's misses. So overall, the missed XP rate is pretty close to where it's usually been since the move.

I only watched 2 1/2 games but one was Buffalo and I nominate Allen for MVWP of the week, guy strapped his team to his back and carried them.

Only point I can make in Campbell’s defense was the high winds made field goal kicking an even riskier proposition than usual. I’d have to imagine that on a calmer night, he would have taken the points on a few of those occasions. I think he got especially gun shy when his kicker badly missed the 48 yard PAT earlier (thanks to TNB).

Davis Mills is getting zero media attention despite leading Houston to back to back wins. Another great redemption story for a White QB with the talent to be a starting QB in the league. Mason Rudolph coming off the bench and playing great was another good story from this week. Imaging if the Steelers actually tried to initially develop him as Ben’s successor instead of being non-committal during his initial stint in Pittsburgh. He’s another guy that could be a starter in the league.

Perhaps yet another White Qb with starting potential will see the field tonight in Kenny Pickett. Geno Smith has been putrid this year and even Raiders fans - the DWfs, cholos and militant blacks are done with Smith and Boomer Pete.

I give credit to @Don Wassall for keeping a much more steady head than I when it comes to the qb situation. If we are being truthful this season has been a damning indictment on the obvious agenda for the past decade or so. QB play by the WGAs has been poor across the board.

Well said! Kudos to you and Don for being steadfast defenders of White quarterbacks and doing a great job at analyzing the nuances of playing the position. I’ve learned a great deal from both of you gentlemen (and many other great posters too on this forum).

That’s good to know. Maybe I am just more tuned in to it all as I check in on many games to see how our guys are doing versus watching the Packers.

ESPN pundits bending over backwards making excuses for Sheduer’s legendarily bad performance.
When judging their performance I've consistently tried to go easy on rookie QBs, white and black, as the position takes time to learn, but Sanders was just inexcusably bad, plain and simple. Even when a rookie QB struggles, you usually see some flashes of ability and hope (AKA upside) that can be positive signs for the future. There wasn't any of that with nepo baby.

The Browns were incredibly moronic to trade away Flacco (and earlier, Pickett) without getting any quality replacements. Now they're stuck with two non-NFL caliber QBs in Gabriel and Sanders like the fool who's been left holding the bag. Classic Cleveland.

Bo Nix was of course clutch in the Broncos' crucial victory over the KC Pfizers, but kicker Wil Lutz was quietly clutch as well. Going 5-for-5 on field goals, he scored 16 of the Broncos' 22 points. He's also 24-for-24 on extra points this season.

It is nice to see a White QB with a clutch kicker on his team. Tucker certainly helped Baltimore out as did Butker with the Chiefs.

Nix was the most ridiculed of all 6 first round QBs in 2024. All the low iq fans made fun of his age (despite being only 3 months older than Penix) and labeled him as a “game manager”. He has become a very good QB in year 2 after a good rookie season. We aren’t seeing him peak early as seems to be the pattern with the WGAs at the position.

CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens sit the first series for the Cowboys, presumably as punishment for lack of effort (Aikman’s comment.)

Another Smith interception. Tipped pass but also a bad decision which everyone has come to expect.

They have both Pickett and the Aiden O'Connell on the bench.

Peyton called him out on that play. He had Jeanty with about 30 yards in front of him.
