Stidham just beat Gonzalez big time. Receiver had a 5 yard window for Stid to hit him. I’ll be watching the CB coverage closely this game.

The announcers just said that if the Patriots win today they will be the first team in NFL History to go 9-0 on the road! Let's go Pats!

Normally snow bowls are fun but I feel like this one just crippled the action from midway through the 3rd quarter. Not exactly a good product provided by the NFL today.

I have no doubt that the Broncos would have been in the Super Bowl with Nix. The drop off in quality was likely the difference here.

Just spent 3.5 hours shoveling my long gravel driveway, turned on the game in the late third quarter, didn't miss much as the weather heavily impacted the contest in Denver. Looking forward to the NFC game, rooting for the Rams but won't be disappointed if Seattle wins as this Rams squad doesn't seem quite the same without Cooper Kupp starring and with a heavily sumo o-line.

I agree with what you said. You should invest in a snow blower. At least you can skip a gym day now. Glad your healthy & active again my friend. Hoping for an exciting game.

The drop off from Nix to Stidham was stark. Stidham is not nearly as fast as Nix and after some defensive adjustments by the Patriots he was done. I think that had Nix played the Broncos would likely have won, maybe easily.

Thanks, we get lots of small and medium snowfalls here but today's was the biggest in years so I don't have a snow blower and like you said I got a workout-plus, though my right arm and lower back are going to be sore for a day or two. I still do my leaves, and there's tons of them, with a good old rake. Old school to the end. . .

The heavy snow came out of nowhere. Rooting for Denver to pull it out.
Damn fumble by Stidham.
I remember a few historic games where the elements were a main story of the game. In 82' the Bengals froze the high flying Chargers offense and in 81' The Mistake by the Lake game was played in horrific cold and wind that blew in from Lake Erie.

Conditions like this were much more common when winters were harsher.

I wish Lindsey Von Mudshark would go away. They really do push her as the face of the US Winter Olympics for one reason.

Same here Don. I shoveled for a total of about 3 hours today as well. I'm not sure a blower would've worked for as we had mostly sleet and freezing rain/ice. I do use a leaf blower and in combination with a rake. Also mow as many leaves up as possible too.
Let's go Rams!

Doubt I'll bother watching the highlights replay of the Denver-New England game. I've never cared for those snow or mud bowl games.

I'm favoring the Rams in the later game mainly because of Stafford. The last game with the overtime coin flip Stafford just looked so poised and calm and professional. And the game before that his game winning drive was a joy to watch. He's been strangely underrated in his career. At 37 he's having one of his best years.

Go Rams.

Great bonehead play by the Rams' punt returner.

Results in a Bobo TD catch the next play!!
It was his second boneheaded fumble in the game. He lucked out and recovered the first one.

I just looked and see that he is a restricted free agent after this season, so that catch could help his cause.
