Hall of Famer
I'm taking the Vikings back from Don this year, as I need a little refreshing after writing up many very dark teams
. The Vikings have reliably been one of the most White friendly teams, even after black GM Adofo-Mensah took over. HC Kevin O'Connell is a great, young offensive mind who seems to have no issue with White athletes. He is from the McVey coaching-tree, which seems to be the only one that has remotely been "fair" to our guys. I think its safe to say, the 2025 Vikings will once again be among the CF favs.

So the number of starters holds from 2024 and the total roster increases by 1! Another good Vikings team, that now has a starting WR to boot. So I bring them up from a C- to a C. They are about even with Denver and maybe the best team for White athletes this year (pending a few more good team reviews).
"Redshirt rookie" J.J. McCarthy is handed the franchise keys after a resurrection season from Sam Darnold, who guided the Vikings to 14-3 season. McCarthy is a fellow 1st round pick, who similar to Darnold boasts an impressive college resume. At Michigan J.J. lead the Wolverines to a National Championship in 2023, their 1st since 1997! He shows great leadership characteristics and gives off the vibe of a winner. Week 1's impressive 4th quarter comeback just further reinforces that. J.J. is also a good athlete, showing great mobility in the pocket and can get out and run for a 1st down if needed. He also looked to have a strong arm, zipping in most of his throws. It's early, but I think the Vikings have their franchise QB for a long time. Veteran Carson Wentz was added to be the backup right before the season. I like the move as he can win you a game or two but more importantly he can mentor J.J. The 3rd stringer is a local talent from University of Minnesota, Max Brosmer. He's definitely a developmental player, which is perfect for the #3 guy.
WR Adam Thielen has secured a homecoming with the trade from Carolina right before season start. This has the feeling of a final season for Adam so enjoy him while you can. His story is well told here but his final chapter is not yet written. 3 thousand yard seasons, 8,300+ career yards and 64 touchdowns and counting. Great numbers but I'm hoping he's got at least one more in the tank and can enjoy a deep playoff run if this is the end. T.J. Hockenson is another great alumni from Tight End U (Iowa). He's come close to a thousand yard season twice, but never hit the mark. I hope he stays healthy and has a good year, but the Vikings have alot of mouths to feed (Jefferson, Addison, Thielen, etc), so I am tempering my expectations for gaudy stats. Former Georgia Bulldog Ben Yurosek made the team as an UDFA. The offensive line added two big free agents both from the Colts. Center Ryan Kelly and guard Will Fries. Expectations are high for this 3/5ths White unit, with most ranking sites placing them towards the top. Brian O'Neill is rated well at tackle (5th overall at the position according to PFF) and returns to anchor this unit. The depth is 4/5ths White.
On defense, the conversation should start with Vikings legend Harrison Smith at free safety. Smith is entering his 14th season and still performs at a high level. Over is great career he's been named to 6 pro-bowls and is a likely Hall of Famer. However, over the course of his great career it has not lead to any notable increase in the number of White safeties in the league. In fact, if he retires only Reed Blankenship and Andrew Wingard would remain as starters. Looks like he's treated as an outlier so the Caste System can continue marching along totally unopposed, other that by our small community. Andrew Van Ginkel returns at outside linebacker or edge rusher after a pro bowl 1st season in Minneapolis. Of course, he flashed this skill level too in Miami but was forced to serve an absurd racial apprenticeship. Thankfully the Vikings recognized how underrated he was and got a steal. Bo Richter flashes similar potential so I'm happy to see he made the squad after landing short on the practice squad last year after dominating preseason. Bo is the rare White serviceman (Air Force) who managed to make if past the CS and armed forces service. Blake Cashman is the 3rd White starter at inside linebacker. In recent years, he's been a playmaker and obligatory WTM. He battled early career injuries and Jets' disfunction to end up where he is now. Hopefully another great year, leading the defense from the middle. Chaz Chambliss is another talent from Georgia who also had to go the undrafted route (hhmmm....). I predict he could be another steal for the smart Vikings.
Go Vikings (and Lions) in the NFC North. Skol!!!!
