2025 College Football Week 9

I know that Gronowski has not had the greatest season passing the ball, but his rushing ability has really benefitted Iowa's offense. He has 10 rushing TDs and like 300 yards on the season. The yardage total isn't anything crazy but Iowa traditionally not really had mobile QBs.
to put it bluntly, Iowa’s wideouts have been abysmal at getting separation this season.

now that the offensive coordinator is (finally!) getting Wetjen involved, and VanderZee (a very talented sophomore) is back in action, perhaps the passing game will show some signs of life.

Iowa State is winning 24 to 17 at halftime against BYU. Carson Hansen has 14 rushes for 81 yards and 2 touchdowns so far. This is against
an undefeated BYU Defense. Statement Game so far. I will admit I am slightly rooting for BYU to stay undefeated as I believe they can run the table and finish the year with 0 losses!

Lutmer is putting on a clinic!

for Minnesota, despite giving up the touchdown earlier, Nestor is playing superb football, as well.

one has to wonder at the cognitive dissonance of those who think only WGAs can play cornerback.

with about 5 minutes left in the third quarter, BYU has 2 White wideouts that have already gone over 100 yards in the game against Iowa State.

Chase Roberts has 7 catches for 124 yards, and Parker Kingston has 5 for 103 and a touchdown.

for the Cyclones, running back Carson Hansen has dominated, going over 100 yards for the first time in his career. he’s currently at 15 carries for 152 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Uh oh! Nestor is down.

I feel the Texas offense suffers from the same sort of playcalling retardation that the PSU offense suffered this season. Maybe that is why Sarkasian is looking for NFL jobs.

Alabama scores a td to go ahead late in the 4th. The South Carolina player in pursuit could of easily knocked him out of bounds but instead pulled up and just let him score. Next play the WGA bobbles the kick off near the goal line and runs it out for a minimal gain.

Simpson had a "Heisman Moment" in this one with the 4th quarter drive.

Wow Texas came all the way back to win. They were down big in the 4th. Arch continues to take positive steps.

Top 2 affletes at RB are injured for Wisconsin. So the younger and blacker Ituka gets start over YAC. YAC should have transferred.

i would like to see what South Dakota State sophomore wideout Lofton O’Groske could do with a seasoned quarterback throwing the ball to him. this dude has the “it” factor.

mark it down, he can play.

update: touchdown! i called it.

the redshirt freshman for SDSU is struggling, but that O’Groske cat is a playmaker. i look forward to seeing what happens with him moving forward.

for North Dakota State, Cole Payton has been literally flawless in this first half. WOW!

Tanner Koziel, the TE for Houston, should be considered for the NFL.
Th guy keeps producing. I’m watching this game waiting for Connors to rip a couple long runs.....

The Houston QB runs like a running back. Connor Weigman already has 75 yards rushing.
