Yes. It's very much a QB award this year and on top of that it's three White QBs at the top of the list. The media will of course try to make cases for a black player down the stretch of the season. None of the hyped up black WRs from the preseason can really make a case.

They will definitely try making the case for Marcel Reed (TAMU QB) if he beats LSU tonight solely because A&M would be 8-0. Reed is an average QB and isn't the most consistent at passing, but people will definitely talk him up if they win tonight. I still think the 3 players I listed in my previous post all have a much better chance though.

Good call. We know how the media works. I hope LSU pulls the upset and Nussmeier has a strong game.
 
Iowa flying and white playmakers leading the way! Great interception by Lutmer another in an extending line of nfl white corners from Iowa! Pick 6! Gronkowski at QB looks good he offers a threat with the arm which keeps the defense honest, haven't had that in the past so you could stack the box knowing the would rush. Wetjen WR/PR/KR looks electric in the offense shame its taken three years at least to get him in the offense.
 
UConn QB Joe Fagnano with 251 passing yards and 3 TDs, and it isn't even halftime yet! Fagnano, even if he is older, should 100% be a late round NFL draft pick
 
Vander Zee with a receiving TD for Iowa! Unfortunately it was against Nestor. Gary Danielson (the CBS commentator) said Nestor did a pretty good job in coverage though and that it was just a great route and throw.

Feel sorry for Vanderzee had a bad injury last year stalling his progress. Good 29 yard route and catch. He should have a big year next season, the guys in front of him are all seniors...

RB has been a bit of a disappointment. We can only hope Skatebbo is inspiring young White athletes and also opening the mind of close minded caste coaches.
 
DWFs must be so confused that Iowa is consistently one of the top defenses in the country despite also being the Whitest D in the power five year in and year out. How can they be so good they don't have the athleticism that other great defenses have!

it was very good coverage, almost perfect, but the throw and catch were just too good on that play.

if memory serves, VanderZee was actually injured late in fall camp just before the season started. he had been DOMINATING and was expected to be THE target in the passing game. seeing him working his way back into things is a big positive for Iowa, as his first game back was just last week. he has a VERY bright future.
