Week 4 kicks off tonight with Rice vs Charlotte.

Looking ahead to some noteworthy games this weekend

Tulsa vs Oklahoma St - Gundy's team was embarrassed against Oregon two weeks ago.

Iowa vs Rutgers on Friday night - Iowa might have finally found some offense. Rutgers has gotten off to a strong start and are at 3-0 due to the improved play of QB Athan Kaliakmanis. Iowa's defense will give Rutgers their first real challenge of the season. LB Karson Sharar is an emerging playmaker on defense to go along with several other White playmakers on that side of the ball. QB Mark Gronowski finally looked comfortable in the offense last week and hopefully the skill position players catch the ball again this week. Let's hope the dynamic Kaden Wetjen gets more offensive touches this week!

Texas Tech vs Utah - A decent match up. QB Behren Morton is one of the best QBs in the country and has been able to remain healthy so far. He is tied for first in the country with 11 TD passes. WR Coy Eakin is emerging at the best receiver on the Red Raiders however Adam Hill only managed one carry last week after a dynamic start to the season. Utah has some players of interest in WR Ryan Davis, DE John Henrey Daley (tied for first in the country with 5 sacks), LB Lander Barton and emerging DB Jackson Bennee.

Maryland vs Wisconsin - Might be the caste match up of the week. Wisconsin needs to bounce back after being embarrassed by Alabama last week. Maryland is 3-0 with a not very impressive resume up to this point. If Billy Edwards returns he will face against his former team (which he wisely transferred from) and if not hopefully Danny O'Neil bounces back after last week.

Syracuse vs Clemson - A must win game for the Tigers who are off to a slow start at 1-2. The offense has found no consistency thus far. For Syracuse QB Steve Angeli quietly leads the nation in passing yards. Hopefully this is a close game seeing the Tigers offense finally click because if not they might be staring at a long season.

SMU vs TCU - Not really a caste matchup but Josh Hoover is a very good QB so hopefully he carves up the SMU defense and knocks them out of any playoff consideration.

North Texas vs Army - Army had one of the biggest upsets of the young season two weeks ago against Kansas St. North Texas is 3-0 coming off an impressive blowout win over Washington State. QB Drew Mestemaker is becoming one of the better group of 5 QBs in the country but is still very under the radar.

Oregon St vs Oregon - This will more than likely be a blowout. Hopefully Oregon St WR Trent Walker puts up big numbers in a game in which the Beavers will probably be passing quite a bit. Oregon State is another example of a NIL QB gone wrong yet again as they missed on DJ Uiagalaleli 2 years ago.

Auburn vs Oklahoma - QB Jackson Arnold returns to Norman to face off against his former team and standout transfer QB John Mateer.

Tulane vs Ole Miss - QB Jake Retzlaff has been better than anticipated after his breakout season with BYU last year. Cuck Kiffin is shuffling through his 100% diverse QB room and playing games with the injury report.

Purdue vs Notre Dame - Purdue is off to a surprising 2-1 start. Notre Dame has lost 2 close games against 2 top 25 teams. Looking ahead Notre Dame has a fairly difficult schedule upcoming so this is a must win game. Although they are more than likely out of the playoff picture QB CJ Carr has impressed as a RS Freshman and should be the QB for the next 3-4 seasons. TE Eli Raridon is emerging as a playmaker and with a strong season should get next level attention. The Irish secondary was very much to blame for last week's loss due to poor tackling.

South Carolina vs Missouri - A matchup of a preseason heisman hype verse one of the top transfer QBs in the country Beau Pribula. Missouri is at 3-0 due to the great play of Pribula who finally gets a chance to start. A strong game this week should elevate him into the national conversation for being one of the top QBs in the country.

Florida vs Miami - A Gators loss here will effectively derail their season. The Gators surprise surprise had a media darling preseason heisman hopeful QB that has not panned out. Meanwhile QB Carson Beck looks to be back to his 2023 form guiding Miami to a 3-0 start and looking like a 1st round draft pick.

Illinois vs Indiana - Probably the most interesting game of the week as these two perennially mediocre Big Ten teams have been ascending over the past few seasons. Both feature very good QBs in Luke Altmyer and Fernando Mendoza. Illinois RB Aidan Laughery has been injured so hopefully he suits up tomorrow for the Illini. Should be a good game, I'd circle this as a must watch.

ASU vs Baylor - Another matchup of two very good QBs but not too much else. QB Sawyer Robertson is getting some positive draft buzz and QB Sam Leavitt is regarded as one of the better QBs in the country. The Sun Devils need more around him though.

Wyoming vs Colorado - Another caste matchup. The Cowboys need to run Sam Scott 25+ times against the suspect defensive line of Colorado. Just want to see a bell cow performance by a White RB against Coach "prime"

Good slate of games this weekend! Looks like Rice is pulling away from Charlotte in the 4th.

Oklahoma Auburn could be a decent game this Saturday. Not a ton of white players involved unfortunately, but it will be Jackson Arnold's return to Oklahoma where he was unfairly benched last season (in my opinion). Sure he had his struggles, but he was much better than his upsider replacement. People have also started putting the current Oklahoma QB, John Mateer, in Heisman conversations. Both Arnold and Mateer are dual threats.

Thanks for the primer! Very informative for a “casual” like me trying to figure out what’s worth watching out of the huge slate of games that are mostly slop.

I agree about Arnold. He was given a very short leash as a first year starter. The silver lining so far is that both Mateer and Arnold are doing very well at Auburn and Oklahoma.

I don’t trust High Freeze though and think that he will scapegoat Arnold if Auburn falters.

Thanks. There are some other worthwhile games to check out but I don’t have the energy to go through them all.

These past few years I have become more of a college fan as my NFL interest is not what it once was. Part of it might be due to the fact I’m trying to get as many White athletes noticed for the NFL draft with my sh!tposts directed at senior bowl and shrine game accounts on social media.

Additionally I’ve always been a stathead and there is a lot to take in with the college game. @TwentyTwo deserves a lot more credit and recognition for his weekly run downs if you ask me. It is a lot of work.

A favor I would like to ask to any member of the board that also watches college football and has an eye out for offensive line talent. Please post standout players and performances you may notice in the weekly threads. I do my best to track every position for draft prospects but neglect OL. I’d like to start highlighting OL play by our guys especially as potential NFL players. The caste system has ramped up the lies around the OL and every week the NFL sees offensive line units that can’t maintain a pocket for a QB and long armed “prototypical” tackles struggle and get beat. Time to push back on that narrative.

Between Wetjen and Dejean having success returning kicks/punts the prior few seasons I am surprised that Iowa doesn't make a more concerted effort to get Whites involved at receiver. Charlie Jones was there and was clearly talented yet got no shot! How many more kids are on the roster now that could actually do something at receiver if they get the chance?

I feel like posters have commented on this in past weeks, but Iowa receivers are awful. On their first drive, there were two drops both on passes over 25 yards downfield. One was a blatant drop and the other had some decent defense (and was slightly underthrown by Gronowski to be fair) by the Rutgers defender but the WR should have been able to make the catch. Despite the drops it was still easy to see dat upside.

I noticed the drops as well. Fundamental of catching the ball is underrated.

you talking to me? LOL

it is my (oft-repeated) position that Iowa either:
A) can’t evaluate talent at wide receiver correctly,
B) can’t coach it correctly, or
C) some combination thereof.

there is too much evidence to support that claim to suggest otherwise.

if i were influential in the Iowa program, i would (do my best to) convince the program to play all 14 personnel (1 running back, 4 tight ends). it would play to their strengths in both recruiting and development (o line, tight ends, rbs) and hide their deficiencies in other areas. it would also pose nightmares for opposing defenses due to potential formations and motion.

but that would require breaking out of the hive mind that is (largely) responsible for the Caste System in the first place.

Nice return by Wetjen right before the half. He’s been the most dynamic returner in the country this year

at this point, NOBODY should EVER kick it to Wetjen. 104-yard kickoff return to start the game, and ALMOST another touchdown on a punt return to end the first half. WOW!

Iowa and Rutgers lit up the scoreboard, waste expecting that !

Gundy lost to Tulsa. Ouch.

Appreciate the props Leonardfan! And thank you for your time n energy with List & Previews etc

Sometimes get too late a start with the Updated Stats and times flies (while still trying to watch multiple late night games) and before you know it its 1:00-2:00am ; so its carried over lately to Sunday's (while NFL is on)' thanks for the help last week; try not to slip up but it's possible. New work schedule effecting my energy too

NCAA site still screwed up ; was most user friendly for me ; too many times Top 25 box scores only on other sites ; constantly having to press for Conference over n over again

Threads like 2025 WR ; RB & DB threads are always fun too...

I'm a College Football Junkie and think some of us are borderline Scouts checking out Prospects for the next level.
Sure would be nice to hone our craft w this stuff 24/7 like so many so-called experts...but i have another job.

For sure! Last season on the 85 yard Punt Return TD had some slight flasbacks of Tim Dwight

Who's the next Under-the-Radar on Iowa's Defense like D Lineman Lukas Van Ness (Packers stud) ?

Momentum shifter D End Max Llewellyn (6'-5" 253) made a nice play hitting QB's arm for LB Jaxon Rexroth to make the INT
D Tackle Aaron Graves 6'-5" 295 ? D End Ethan Hurkett had a Sack
LB Karson Sharar led team 10 Tackles ; 1 TFL + Sack

But Rutgers QB Athan Kaliamanis still managed to Pass for 330 yards + Run for 2 TDs

Sorry for not directly giving you credit then - was a true point LOL.

Your idea with Iowa's offense would honestly probably work, but it would never be implemented because I am sure that scouts would say that it is a gimmick system that would hurt the NFL prospects of Iowa offensive players (even though no one would say the same thing about a school like Tennessee's offensive system). Beyond playing to Iowa's strengths, it would be very difficult to prepare for as no one else would be running it, and most schools would not have four competent TEs on the scout squad to replicate it in practices.

Good to see Iowa hold on for the win last night; it was a fun game in the parts I watched.

Starting the day with Utah and Texas Tech. Morton is one of many underrated White QBs in the Big 12 who get nearly no national attention despite being solid game after game. Doesn't make much sense that there is nearly no hype for Morton, Rocco Becht, Josh Hoover, Sorsby, Sawyer Robertson, and many others.

Fickell ****** sucks. Blocked FG to start the game. Grade A Con Artist.

Mestermaker for UNT is another under the radar qb.

Angeli looks good for Syracuse after getting what looked like a scary knee injury early in the game.

Very true although I have actually seen a few posts talking about his success after not starting since he was a freshman in high school. CF was were I first heard of him though. I think Kyle Trask had a similar story a few years back. Sometimes all guys need is an opportunity to play and they will run with it!

Dabo may have lost the locker room.

Dickell sure as hell has.

Danny O’Neill has some fire and mobility. But can’t throw. 4th INT of the season. I know the OL sucks and so does Dickell but this is depressing.

Wisconsin could have saved a lot of embarrassment had they just fired Fickell from the moment he tried to implement the air raid in Wisconsin haha. The state doesn't really have the climate needed to win with the pass and the school has consistently won with the lines and on the ground, but Fickell thought he knew better...
