2024 NFL Week 17

Evans catches a TD pass over local Carolina kid Caleb Farley. Perp shot on him after the play. Farley ran some track with my son.
He's been kind of a bust after getting drafted in the first round by Tennessee after sustaining multiple injuries at Virginia Tech. A pretty good young man whose had some bad things happen in his early life. His mother died of Cancer when he was young and last year his house blew up while he was in training camp, killing his father!!
Glad to see him playing today.

I'm pumped to see Alec Pierce with 3 rec. for 47 yards in the first half. Maybe he can break the century mark today. Just get him the ball
and get out of his way!

I don't think that is going to happen my friend. He is at 645 yards entering the game. If Flacco force fed him this week and next week their would be an outside shot but I cannot recall any concerted effort to push up a White athletes stats.

Drew Lock is slicing and dicing The Colts. 6/7 150 and 2TDs

Furman's Ryan Miller 23 yard reception!

It's nice to see Bucs WR Ryan Miller get more playing time as the season goes on. Just pulled in a 23 yard reception. Very good player that @Carolina Speed made us aware of.

I think Thielen’s return from injury gave Young a big boost. To be fair, it seems like he’s learning the position unlike his peers Richardson, Williams and Murray.

Young is a Jake Browning type if you ask me. A capable backup. In retrospect 2023 was really the year the NFL jumped the shark when it came to qualifications for a quarterback. Both extremes were drafted early - the undersized, average armed, "sure thing" system QB with elevated status due to melanin and the "all upside athlete playing QB" with melanin. Neither are panning out to be franchise players.

And the beta Scott Hansen stating with excitement that Thielen "somehow" got behind the defense on that play.

ooof, Miller with a big drop.

also, do i see a white man playing secondary for the Jets??

That's Ashton Davis, who is a quarter or so black

As long as there's a drop of blood that matches his chosen position it's all good then! Otherwise he'd end up playing LB if that.

EDIT: Thielen with another nice catch!

Drew Lock with 3 TD passes against a Colts team trying to stay alive in the playoff race, good to see as Lock is another White QB who is relentlessly mocked by the usual suspects.

Eagles up 34-7 going into the 4th quarter. They have their third string QB in. What are the chances we see some Will Shipley before the game is over?
