Rams v Niners. Hope for a high scoring game. Surprised to learn that Shanahan is 9-2 vs McVay. Going for the Rams.

Definitely a good matchup from a CF perspective.

The Bills visiting the Lions on Sunday is the one I'm most looking forward to this week.

Yes, and Kincaid is set to return for the Bills so good news there. Goff is up to 4th in the MVP odds and Allen is starting to run away with it, so it should be a great game.

The “Exciting Whites” in Philly will be battling the future AFC Defensive Player of the Year, TJ Watt, on the other channel at the same time.

Interesting how there's a lot more rugby like scrums where ball carriers keep their legs going and their o-linemen push them forward for additional yardage. But it also helps that many defensive players are a lot more interested in trying to strip the ball than they are tackling, as replays often show.

Wild to see passing numbers down so much given all the changes to help facilitate high scoring aerial games.

3 minutes left in the 4th Qtr and no receptions for Kupp (I don't think he's even been targeted), and 1 reception for Pearsall.

Rozeboom ends the game with his first career sack to go along with 9 tackles on the night. They have 3 Whites rotating on defense and were solid all game, unfortunately at Purdy’s expense.

Not sure why Kupp was avoided ( officially 3 targets), but Parkinson and Long each had 2 catches. Kittle had 61 and needs to average 46 the last three games to get to 1,000 yards.

I didn’t catch the game. Sickening how little Kupp was targeted. Poor game plan.

Is Shanahan allergic to utilizing Juszczyk? Did he even play? Not a single stat.

With the 49ers down to their 4th string running back, you’d think a supreme athlete like Juice would see some rushing attempts?

he did play, as a lead blocker.

good point Don, I have noticed that as well. That one play by Kyren was a very clear example of it. tackling has gotten worse, the great tackle by DeJean on Henry the other day shouldn't be a much talked about exception, it should be the norm.

No expert here but SF's rb looked a bit pedestrian out there, slow and went down on first contact it seemed.

Without McCaffrey, the 49ers are mediocre at best, both as a football team and from a Caste perspective. Their defense being coal black aside from Bosa doesn't help either.

At least the Rams notched a W. Hopefully they can take the NFC West title from the odious Seahags.

People are seeing how integral CM is to the 49's success. I agree also that Juice should have been used as the main running back as he would shock alot of watchers with his speed and athleticism. I hate that db's are focused on stripping/punching the ball out instead of fricking tackling the player the offensive player gets more yardage each time instead of being put on the turf...

I didn’t watch it either for the same reason. Really pisses me off and raises my blood pressure to see Cooper kupp ignored. His body was ruined from pretty much blocking like a full back on run plays.

As far as Juice goes it seems like Ingold gets more touches over in Miami despite Kyle being a much more explosive athlete. Juice should be putting up at the very least Rathman type numbers which added up to about 800 combined yards per year in his prime.

Rathman could have easily rushed to 1000 yards a year.

Rathman had more than a little Mike Alstott in him. Nebraska used to produce NFL "fullbacks" the way Iowa produces tight ends and now White CBs. Rathman, Joel Makovicka, Cory Schlessinger. Later there was Andy Janovich and Rex Burkhead, the one in a decade White RB actually allowed to play some in the NFL.

Juice was about 20 years too late to get even Rathman like usage, a real waste of his abilities.

Jake Haener named the Saints' starter for tomorrow's game, good opportunity for him.

Riley Moss ruled out for week 15 apparently. Bummer. McConkey is questionable.

Maxx Crosby ruled out with an ankle problem, only the second game of his career he'll miss.

Surprise surprise, Troy Andersen once again ruled out. Even in the Year of the Injured White Player he's been noteworthy for being perpetually injured again this season.

Reed Blankenship will be returning from his concussion for the Battle of Pennsylvania. Hoping for good games from both Exciting Whites in this one.

Yes, it truly is the Year of the Injured White Player. I know our games are fewer in numbers, especially at the skill positions, so when an injury occurs it’s impact is greater but it sure does seem ours guys are hurt more than usual this year.

On the flip side, when they are out and the team suffers it can raise their stock in the eyes of coaches and media and DWFs. Like someone mentioned earlier, CMC is the 49ers engine and Riley Moss is sorely missed.

Just read Crosby likely done for the year… the curse strikes again. What a horrible year.

Maxx is as tough as they come. He was clearly fighting through something all season as his tackle and sack totals were noticeably down yet he continued to play every snap, literally 100% of the snaps most games. I don't think there's another defensive end or tackle in the league that does, what a warrior. Hopefully he'll be at his best again next year.

Mark Andrews with his 48th career TD reception, most ever by a Raven
