2024 NFL Week 14

Maybe not. He his at 815 yards with 4 games left after tonight. If his injury is not long term he should hit 1k yards.
McConkey was officially listed as questionable for tonight's game, which indicates it's more nagging injuries (knee and shoulder) than something serious so hopefully he'll be back, especially if the Chargers are fighting for playoff position down the stretch. He played with his shoulder injury last week and had a big game.

Hell of a game between the Bills and Rams. Probably game of the year up to this point. Buffalo almost pulls the comeback off. Rams meanwhile keep pace in the winnable NFC West.

Josh Allen may have solidified his MVP front runner status despite the loss. First player to ever have 3 rush TD and 3 pass TD in a game. 442 total yards, no interceptions.

Josh Allen's performance today was like Chuck Howley in Super Bowl V: So good that he was the MVP even though he was on the losing team.

Good to see michael mayer go 7-68. Hopefully this is a sign he is past whatever his “personal issues” were. Would like to see him either go to another team where he can be the #1 te or the raiders hire a competent coach as see the raiders utilize 12 personnel

The long armed Chiefs’ OTs making this an enjoyable game to watch.

Cooper Kupp 3/67, would be nice to see him join Thielen in the hundred yard club today, both doing it used to occur with regularity. Gotta hope McConkey and Pearsall will soon be doing it often as well as Kupp and Thielen are in the back nine of their careers. Thielen though still looks great at his advanced WR age.
Agreed, if Thielen didn’t miss half the season he would be reaching another 1,000 yard receiving season.

And yet because the rest of the Bills are so bad, they lost. Unbelievable.

lol the Chiefs winning another close game is so boring at this point no one's even talking about it

gotta say that when Purdy utilizes Kittle it leaves no doubt in my mind that Kittle is by far the best best TE in the NFL. Big body, great hands, dishes out punishment and is extremely fast with great cuts and dekes.

Kittle is up to 800 yards on the season with four games left even after missing two games, should be a cinch to achieve the fourth thousand yard receiving season of his career. I agree he's the best all-around tight end in the league, reminiscent of the way Gronk could dish out punishment both receiving and blocking.

Derek Carr has a fractured left hand and a possible concussion. Jake Haener is the backup QB for the Saints.

They also have Spencer Rattler, who started earlier this season when Carr was hurt and looked terrible. Haener looked a lot better in very limited playing time.

Saw a "highlight" from the Saints game yesterday that showed interim head coach Darren Rizzi screaming at a White player on the sideline. Turned out to be the punter. I don't know what horror the punter committed to cause him to be reamed out like that but it instantly reminded me of Bill Cowher, who would never yell at or embarrass a Black player but regularly berated punters and kickers when they performed less than perfectly, spit flying and otherwise looking and acting like a madman. One of the many reasons I never liked or respected Cowher. I don't know if Rizzi is cut from the same cloth but from seeing that incident yesterday I'll be curious to see if he starts Rattler or the obvious better choice Haener in the season's meaningless last games.

I caught that too and thought the same thing regarding guys like Cowher and the fat Walrus (holmgren) getting in the faces of their White players in the past.

If Carr is out for the year I hope Haener gets the starts down the stretch. Rattler had his chance and proved to be ineffective despite the manufactured hype around him.

what is going on with Niners use (or lack thereof) of Rickey Pearsall? he had a few decent games, TD and then he's completely out of sight. only one catch for 5 yards yesterday.

Pearsall played 49% of the snaps yesterday. Samuel played 79%, Jennings 74%, Kittle 85%. In Week 13 it was 73%, 75%, 96% and 100% respectively for those same players.

Yesterday's 49% was the fewest snaps Pearsall has played since making his debut in Week 7. Could be Purdy has more confidence at the present time in those other, more established players/weapons. This has been somewhat of a lost rookie season for him and I think his future with the 49ers remains bright.

Well, MNF had a lol ending. Nick Vigil blocks a punt, then a no-name magical upsider pulls a Leon Lett, touches the ball, and lets the Bengals recover. Coal-dark Cowboys lose.

Good result then! The Bengals are still “White friendly”, but as Don and others have documented, they are trending the wrong way.

Kadarius Toney, the King of Unrealized Mouth Watering Upside, muffs a punt pretty much sealing the win for the Steelers.
The Browns are the latest team to be unable to unlock Toney's immense potential and waived him today. Maybe we should wager on which team will scoop him up next....
