2024 NFL Week 10

Shipley ends with 34 yards rushing.

Lance throws an INT - he's in Jamarcus Russell territory in terms of being an all time bust.

Except on this play the hold was screened by the Chiefs sumo left tackle. Official couldn't see it. But this is lame, holding happens on every play. Karlaftis was held almost every play but you're not crying for him.

Don't disagree that holding happens every play.

Goff scrambles for a first down on 3rd and 1.

Tirico: “Goff scrambles and picks up the big first down! He says, hey, I’ve got some legs, too!”

Chris Collinsworth nearly passes out due to the intense rush of blood into his penis. He is extremely sexually-aroused at this silver platter opportunity to insult white athleticism. He pauses to collect himself.

Collinsworth: “Oh, he has legs, alright, but definitely not the kind with any sort of four point three six speed! He’s just happy those legs of his got him to the sideline!”

I assume that number was from one of the Texans’ yet-unnamed cornerbacks that Collinsworth was waiting to fawn over, thus it being on the tip of his tongue.

Out of curiosity, I looked up historical combine times for quarterbacks. Only Michael Vick has beaten that arbitrary number, running a 4.33 in 2001 (23 years ago). Lamar ran a 4.34 at his pro day. The next-fastest time for an active QB is Anthony Richardson, who clocked a 4.43.

Goff ran a 4.82 in 2016, which is just about on par with notorious 30-step dropback scrambler Patrick Mahomes, who posted a 4.80 the following year.

This game is an interception fest. 7 total. Ugly game, especially so for the usually superb Lions.

Texans black offensive lineman (is there any other type) forces a fumble on his own QB! He then recovers it. Wonder how that one goes in the stat book?

Lions pulling closer, as the Texans offense has been back to pathetic in the 2nd half.

Walkoff field goal wins it for the Lions.
Good comeback
I thought I was the only one who stayed up to watch. Gutsy performance by Goff and the Lions to play a near perfect 2nd half. 19-0 to complete the comeback.

Jake Bates the kicker, who made a 58 yarder to tie and a 52 yarder to win, praising Jesus in the post game interview. Must make the NBC ghouls shriek and recoil.

As an aside, not a banner day for QBs this Sunday. 24 TDs vs 24 interceptions and 6 lost fumbles.

Looking at stats for the Detroit Houston game, Mixon carried 25 times for 46 yards, lol. You'd think after oh, 10 or 12 carries that this guy just doesn't have it today, with his fabulous 1.84 yards per carry.

Rough day for QBs indeed but Bo Nix performed well. He's raw, but with a lot of upside.
I agree. Nix was easily one of the best QB's that I saw all day. Be nice if he had more cracka weapons around him.

Nix has gotten better every week. He was heavily criticized and mocked during the draft process and after by DWFs. So far he is putting together a strong rookie season. It's also funny that he has more rushing yards than "generational" Caleb Williams.

Would love to see the Broncos get Skattebo in the draft and maybe an elite TE.

I went to bed at halftime. Woke up to see the Lions came back to win. I personally think they are the best team in the league this year.

Although I didn't get to watch as much, I thought there was really good performances including Maye, Levis, Herbert. Carr, and Purdy with 353 yards, Burrow Thursday night.
