A new season is upon us and the inaugural Thursday night matchup is the Baltimore Ravens at the Kansas City Chiefs. Both of these teams feature "black" offensive signal-callers, Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes vs. 2023 NFL MVP Lamar Jackson. The Chiefs feature quite a few white players in key positions while the Ravens, well, they're the Ravens. The only bright spots on the team being All Pro TE Mark Andrews and DE Brent Urban who is shuffled in and out of the lineup.

Really looking forward to seeing Carson Steele play.

What's the 'over/under' number in Vegas for how many times Carson Steele is allowed to carry the ball tonight. It is interesting that he is no longer listed as a FB on the Chiefs' depth chart. Unfortunately, he is the 3rd RB behind Pinnochio and Perine..............

Well, can't have that running back stuff getting in the way of his WSTD duties. He's coverage on both punts and kickoffs in addition to being one of the two returners on kickoffs. I actually think he'll be in quite a bit as Perine is pretty raw with the playbook, and Reid's playbook is not easy.

National Negro League seems intent on gutting its popularity. It is propped up by gambling… that’s it.

Honestly, that’s its saving grace. Most of the big time NFL fans I know all participate in fantasy football (for money) and bet on games or players doing x,y,z via Draftkings or the like.

Amazingly, Lowe’s chooses Scott Hansen from the NFL network, Christian McCaffrey, and Travis Kelce in a commercial.

Steel was out wide on a play waiting for a pass at the line of scrimmage. Good to see him involved on plays.

Agreed.

Now give the man the ball and let him dominate!

We can hope and dream can't we? I'm sure the league has some type of rule to limit & ignore alpha white blonde hair blue eyes males and
especially when they look like "Thor" & embarass the bros. That's why he is Carson "Man of" Steele.

Chenal and Tranquill have been playing every snap or close to it. Chenal unsurprisingly looks beastly, I see him becoming a star this season.

Karlaftis has been held off the scoresheet so far. Mark Andrews with just one catch but it was called back on another illegal formation penalty by the Ravens' not too bright LT.

Crissy calling for more Marc Andrews. I agree. He’s been ignored so far.

Chiefs have a pair of stud linebackers that’s for sure!

So twice now Carson has been in and the play never happened. Then the Chiefs changed personnel.

Even on 1st and 1… the smaller black back gets the ball disappointing.

TE Gray with the screen all the way to the one!

Steele gets his first carry for 5 yards…. Then they put in Perine who drops a third down pass…….

Steele goes for 5 yards. He was referred to as a fan favorite.
Hey, not a bad first carry. 5 yards up the gut when everyone knew that’s what was coming.

If this man gets legitimate opportunities he can be a star. A big if but true nonetheless.

As soon as they put Steele back in late, you can see a couple defenders pointing at him, knowing he’d get the ball....Minus a yard. Uggh
