2024 NFL Season Super Bowl LIX

lol, I’m sure Brady got a lot of shekels for that humiliation ritual.
I'm predicting that someday Snoop Dogg will be on the ten dollar bill or alternatively his lovely face will grace one of the U.S. coins, if we haven't switched over to digital currency by then.

Heh, Bud light sure course corrected... Peyton Manning, Shane McGillis and Post Malone instead of trans influences...

I greatly enjoyed rooting for the Steelers of the '70s, just a great team to root for, and half-White starters and roster. They had two chances to win three in a row and failed, as have a few other teams, so lovin' this blowout.

Dallas might be the only team to win 3 Super Bowls in four seasons.
Dallas won 3 from 1993-96.

Tranquill with 10 tackles, 1 sack, 2 TFL and 1 qb hit in the loss.

Also, every sack is always also a TFL. I just learned that.

Wow, what a slaughter! From seemingly winning every single game by a few points, the Chiefs get humbled. This will go down as one of the all-time most lopsided Super Bowl defeats.

Chiefs got lucky this year on a lot of key plays in close games. Probably should’ve been 12-5 or 11-6 with ordinary luck. The opposite of those absurdly unlucky 7-9 and 8-8 Brees teams that were seemingly just a few plays away from going 11-5 or 12-4.

Yes, every single time. The Chiefs got as far as they could on experience, talent, savvy, and a helluva lot of luck. Credit to them for getting this far, I think of the Tampa Bay Lightning, who won the Stanley Cup two years in a row and made it to the finals to try to make it a threepeat, the first in 40 years in the NHL, but didn't have it.

I could see the Chiefs falling off a bit after this year. It’s just hard to stay at the top for too long. Mahomes looked very mediocre all year.

I wouldn't say mediocre as he still led his team to a great record and put it in position to win a third straight league title, and that counts for far more than just cold statistics. Terry Bradshaw and Big Ben rarely had gaudy stats yet have four and two Super Bowl rings respectively. It's about wins and championships, and Mahomes remains a top QB. He's a winner, just as Jalen Hurts is a winner.

That said, I agree that Mahomes isn't what he was just a few years ago. I've often said when it comes to Black QBs (to the extent Mahomes even qualifies as one), the most striking thing is how shockingly very few of them can keep it going for the long term, in great contrast to the great White QBs over the years. I've written more than once in response to those panicking that Mahomes will exceed Brady or even the QBs with four Super Bowl rings, that time will tell. He'll be 30 this upcoming season and history is against him still being great in his mid-30s, which are still prime years for many White QBs. He's already declined when it comes to his ability to throw long bombs on a regular basis, and when his modest foot speed slows down, my guess is that Mahomes may have already won his last Super Bowl title.

Too little too late. I think they will struggle to regain fans.

Good to see them feature white men though.

I think Mahomes’ 90% or whatever white genes, which are clearly very dominant, will keep him pretty good for a long time. The Chiefs, however, will fall off next year. They had a TON of calls go their way this year that likely won’t next year. Wouldn’t be surprised if the NFL hitches its wagon to the Eagles now.

DeJean capped off a great season for the rookies. Maye, Bowers, McConkey, Fiske, Pearsall, Nix, DeJean, Alt, etc. all had a positive impact.

I’m guessing

Great showing for DeJean. I don’t follow the league very closely, so would it be accurate to say he’s the best white CB since Jason Sehorn?

No because Riley Moss was also really good this year. If it weren’t for Riley moss though, there would be no question he’s the best since Sehorn

It’s hard to overstate how important it was for both Eagles white defensive backs tonight. Biggest stage and they were outstanding. Especially rookie DeJean.

Very happy with the SB today but in retrospect I’m thinking about the white friendly chiefs losing… I liked seeing them taken down because I’m not a Mahomes fan and dislike a few of their players, like thug woman beater Kareem Hunt, but really the SB was meh from a caste perspective. That DeJean pick six made a massive difference, jumped out of my seat, but aside from that it wasn’t much of a show for us. Plus the mediocre Jalen Hurts winning MVP was lame…

Not a bad result or matchup at all, but watching Chenal, Karlaftis, and Tranquill on the sideline as the chiefs were on their last pity losers drive made me question if the chiefs falling was really the best outcome.

CONGRATS Cooper Dejean the first player in Super Bowl History to score a INT TD on his B-Day! @ 22 years young!
Game was then basically over 17 - 0!

Exciting Whites Stepped up when it mattered most on the biggest stage! Maybe this will inspire more young white athletes to say ; " excuse me coach you are not moving me to Safety"....Thank you to the Iowa Hawkeyes for the opportunity!
....not a slight at Free Safety Reed Blankenship who went undrafted; he's been the Hammer in the Eagle Secondary.

Was disappointed Rookie RB Will Shipley didn't get a few token carries at the end of garbage time. Gainwell finished w 6 carries for 10 yards.

This about sums up the consensus view on Mahomes and the GOAT conversation and this is from Black nationalist Rob Parker...

I was shocked to a point as I had vehement debate with a relative on the Birds winning I said it would only happen if Hurts didn't implode. Little did I know that Mahomes would drop a "Little Boy' bomb at the SB and throw two ill timed interceptions.

On paper you would think if the KC defense was a brick wall against the run the odds of them winning would be heavily in their favor but beyond that the defense was terrible as they had no rush to pressure Hurts and their pass defense looked like Saturday morning sand lot touch football defense as I don't recall one outstanding play from a cornerback or safety in the game.

I'm happy to serve as tv analyst of SBLIX live broadcasting in Taiwan, we 3 (play by play caller + 2 analyst) shouted it's DeJean's birthday right after he picked Mahomes.

What a game to slap those teams ignored him.

Wow, that's nice! How much interest is there in the NFL in Taiwan?

Taiwan is a baseball/basketball nation, heavily influenced by US/Japan.

People here watch super bowl, because there are a lot of Taiwanese studied/lived in US, you can still find someone to talk, but not many.

Thankfully what this forum tells are quite acceptable to Asian fans. We Asians ranked lower than Whites in this caste system, so we do understand those facts (when being told).
