Starting off this thread for the New Year . . . the first result I have to note is Tiam Whelpton of New Zealand ran 6.66 60m in Spain.
Actually that was on December 29th of 2023, but effectively it's a 2024 result.
Anyway, a good time to open the season.

I believe so.
We did follow Kalen Walker and Iowa teammate Austin Kresley last season.
But to be honest, I had forgotten about him. So thanks for the reminder.

Now I see that Kalen Walker ran a 6.59 60m on Dec. 9th. Great time for so early in the season.
We need to keep an eye on him.

There is no doubt he is white. We have rooted for him for several years now. Here is a picture. Outstanding time jacknyc!

Ukrainian Sprinter Andrii Vasyliev opened up his season with a fine time of 6.61! He is gonna be 23 in a few months so he
is a younger guy to keep an eye on.

That guy has a nice channel. There are so many good track channels on youtube. Kalen Walker is primed for a big year.
Let's hope he can get his 60 times down to 6.55 or lower. If so his 100's outdoors will be lit!

that was informative - the guy presents well, is enthusiastic and has done his homework. Anyone doing that is worth a look.
Ok, so Kalen Walker is now in my head for this coming season

I was thinking about Rohan Browning lately. Don't give up hope guys. Many fans and experts had written off Ewa Swoboda as just
a 60 meter specialist who would never go sub 11 in the 100 meters. She went sub 11 three times last season. She did this in her mid
twenties so her and Browning are close in age to each other. The first sub 10 is the hardest. If Rohan Browning can get that under his
belt I'm almost positive there will be more to come as he will relax more. Knowing you can do it makes it easier to redo it. Sprinting
is as much psychological as it is physical.

Those are some great times to start the season! Anyone know when/if Samuele Cecarelli is opening up his indoor season? His website says his goal is to compete in the 2024 Olympics but has no mention of a schedule. He might be the favorite going into 2024.

There will be alot of indoor track meets across the U.S. this weekend. Both Georgia and Iowa are in meets starting on Friday! Hope
to see Brody Buffington make his debut in the sprints. Iowa has 2 sprinters to watch closely. I'm happy track is returning!

He knocked this video out of the park again. For every kid that we see like this, most will never get recruited or the media attention that
they deserve. That's why this website if the best promotional content for white athletes in the world in my opinion. Incredible jump by Tye Hunt!

University of Georgia Freshman Sprinter Brody Buffington won his heat today in a time of 6.69! Not a bad collegiate opener in his
first ncaa race ever. He DNS(did not show) in the finals. Probably just precautionary I imagine. This kid is gonna be a great sprinter
to follow over the next 4 years. Hoping he can be similar to Boling but with more consistancy in the future.

Brian Faust won in 32.36!! Boling ran 32.84.

Coby Hilton 6.55! in the 60m heats at Nebraska . . . and 6.53 in the finals!
Very impressive start to the season.
Edit - at the moment, I believe that is a World Leading time.

Brian Faust won the heat and had the fastest 300 meter time of any sprinter there in all of the heats. Very impressive!

Boling is a 100/200 meter sprinter but somehow they want him only in the 400 meters. He is too big and not built for
that distance. Yes he can be good at the 400 meters but not great. His potential to be special is in the shorter sprints with
the right focused training on those events specifically. He gave up the long jump. NOW GIVE UP THE 400 METERS!!!
