Been out most of the day. Spending time with family and then yard work. Did get home in time to catch some of the Clemson game. Klubnik seems to be growing up and becoming the QB he was projected to be. Was wanting to catch Texas and Arch Manning, but it's only going to be televised on The SEC network. Might try YOUTUBE.

BTW, did anyone notice Illionois RB Laughery against Nebraska. He was first on the depth chart, but had been injured. He had 4 carries for 30 yards. Great YPC average. Don't know much about him?

Oklahoma laid a dud and in the process looks like QB Jackson Arnold lost his job to a quota. Seems like most teams have some quota waiting in the wings once the White starter runs out of eligibility. The proliferation of quotas throughout college football will become even more apparent over the next few seasons. The caste system in action actively taking over a position in real time. No one questions it though.

Yea he has disappointed for sure. But the fact that every team has a black qb waiting in the wings is very telling about the future of football. Wish more people cared!

I watched a little bit of ball yesterday and from what I see they run the same basic play a good part of the game. Which is hike it to a QB he steps right gives it a quick look then tucks it and runs left. If I'm close to correct then the QB position is basically a consumable one where one could fill it in by a large cohort of somewhat competent HS recruits. As Urban "Blight" Meyer said he was not in the business of producing NFL QBs but to win games and championships.

Missouri QB Brady Cook has been very good but flying under the radar as well.

Mateer coming out of nowhere is a great story.

Did my eyes deceive me or does Texas have TWO backup white RBs?? They both had carries in garbage time. Colin Paige had 10 carries for 60 yards!

Got to watch Holstein play a few times ...his HS in Zachary LA is less than 17 miles from the house as a crow flies ; BIG District rivalries vs. my kids school ; you could tell he was different; was headed to Alabama; glad he left and found his niche at Pitt! I think he is proving he has NFL talent ; check last week's Back yard Brawl comeback win over WV 38- 34!

Sometimes has tank running low late night by the time finish all the FBS; try to save some room for the FCS

FBS for QBs 275 Yards or so on the Weekly List is my cut off point unless it's a super star... sometimes QBs are pulled early in routs.

For FBS WR's usually list them if they get at least 40 Yards Receiving ; unless they are high profile
