For all the flack the SEC gets (as it should) ...How many P5's or even Mid Majors (check the write up's) Start 5 White DBs?? How many does the Big 10 start? )
This question was bugging me all day!

S Quinn Schulte, Iowa
S Isaac Gifford, Nebraska (3-3-5 base package)
S Dillon Thieneman, Purdue
S Koi Perich, Minnesota
S Hunter Wohler *AND* S Preston Zachman, Wisconsin

So I guess that’s six starters between 5 of the 18 Big Ten teams. Uh, hooray?

The critics of playoff expansion have been vindicated early - the favorites are winning heavily. Parody is an illusion. On the plus side, outside of Oregon, every remaining team has at least something to root for.

I think the main critics were the SEC coaches, SEC slanted media talking heads and DWFs that got left out despite being 3 loss teams. After Tennessee getting demolished by Ohio State social media SEC DWFs have gone silent.

Although I like the top 4 only playoff scenario as I believe you would get the Champion from that format, I thought the Texas/Clemson game was exciting and not a blowout by any means. Except for Georgia, Cade Klubnik and Clemson put up more points and more offense on the Texas defense than any other team all season. The young Clemson defense and their DC were exposed by Texas.

Watching Clemson vs Texas just shows the greatness of White Quarterbacks. So far between both Ewers and Klubnik they have only had
1 incompletion. Amazing accuracy and leadership by both of these young white men. NFL take note!
Also, look out for the 2 TE's in Gunnar Helm, TX; 6/77 and a TD and the underrated Briningstool, Clemson; 4/69 both should go in the top 3-4 rounds if not sooner.

I think Clemson wins the ACC next year and be a more dominant team than this past season.

Boy, that mystery meat QB for Tennessee was awful. 100 yards passing in a playoff game in which they trailed the entire time? That’s almost impossibly bad. I only mention this because I saw articles on BSPN earlier in the week hyping this guy up as poised for a breakout. LOL, no.

So out of the final 8 is it all White QBs and a Hawaiian?

I believe that's correct. My top 8 to win: Personal preference;
Georgia
Notre Dame
Texas
Penn State
ASU
Ohio State
Boise State
Oregon

A sidenote, a few years ago out in Montana the discussion came up with how were these teams rostered up and a young lady asked an innocent question why they don't recruit locally instead of poaching black talent. And of course the evil machine came down on her like a ton of bricks even though she was not being racially biased in any real fashion. Yesterday watching the Montana Cats roll over the yotes the announcer said that Montanans filled 47 of those slots and the program was quite proud that they did.

I assume they were nearly all white or mostly white. As a side note where are the wagon burners on any of those teams from the Dakotas or Montana? More side note, with the "diversity" push in the entertainment biz since the George Floyd ascended to holy martyrdom I have been pleasantly surprised to see Indians filling in some rolls over the usual lazy insert black actor/actress into anything and everything.

Fresno St WR Mac Dalena eclipses 1k receiving yards!
Yes indeed! Dalena had a nice season! 6 catches 118 yards in the POTATO Bowl today!
......And had a nice Kick Return to the 40 yard line!

Knew he was FAST!!! But he's really FAST! Legit 4.4!
This is a TD if he doesn't have to wait for ball...but in fairness to the QB it was the back up
Week 11 vs Air Force

Check out NIU TE Grayson Barnes one hand TD catch....ESPN #4 in the Top 10

Should be an entertaining FCS Championship Game Bucky!

Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty needs 130 or so yards to beat Barry Sanders’ NCAA single season rushing record. Jeanty will do it in 14 games, compared to Sanders’ 11 games. What makes it especially unfair is Sanders’ 200+ yards in the Holiday Bowl are not counted. Otherwise Jeanty would need 350 yards in his final game and with 2 extra games. Anyway, it’s stupid, but it bothers me since I was a freshman at OSU first hand witness to Sanders’ Heisman season. Not sure why Bowl Game stats didn’t count, but now they do? Seems easily correctable. I understand Dickerson beat OJ’s record with two extra regular season games. But either you count the postseason, or you don’t.

Toledo vs Pitt was an entertaining game. Glad Toledo pulled off the upset. Should be a favorite in the MAC next year.

Yea it makes no sense. It should count for everyone or for no one.
