Abby got the worst start of the bunch according to the stats on Track and Field News. She looked flat. If she was in PB shape, she could have gotten second. They need to do a chromosome check on the winner. My God, the drugs have turned her into a man.

So let's see. We saw the 2nd fastest 200 meters ever in the history of the world by a man and a woman. One from America and the other from Jamaica. No worries just look the other way. Nothing to see here folks. The only
positive to eventually seeing the two PED KING and QUEEN World Record Holders lose their records it that maybe the new sprinters will get caught instead of WADA taking hush payments allegedly.

Flo Jo had a very short life and the documentaries I watched made it clear as to what caused so much harm to her body at such a young age. Bolt has been lucky so far. I don't wish an early death on anyone. Even a cheater but
it's just so unfair that so many of the world records are just obviously by ped cheats. No way to sugar coat it. Is it worth it? I guess you would have to ask them but I know what my eyes see. It's the same in many sports. Just
like in Bodybuilding no one ever dares to ask why so many of their best guys die between 25 - 50. I sometimes wonder what the world records would be in track if there will never any performance enhancing drugs ever made. They
would be far, far slower but at least it would be natural. That's why I respect the Natural Bodybuilders far more than the drug enhanced super hero looking ones. The same in track.

The Jamaicans and the Americans have cheated as much or more than the old communist conntries could have ever dreamed of and they still are allowed to get away with it.

Markus Fuchs of Austria is quietly having a good season. He isn't in Eugene like most of our guys we follow as he didn't have the time needed to make the world champs. Regardless he just a week ago set his second new personal best time
of this summer. Markus Fuchs ran a new p.b. of 10.15 +1.1 wind. A very fine time and if he can hold his form he will have a chance at the 100 meters finals at the 2022 European Championships of Track & Field.

Another young sprinter I want to make you guys aware of. I think he has serious potential in the next decade.

Mark Pap of Hungary is only 20 years of age. He recently ran a new p.b. of 10.25 +0.4 so he ran this time with little competition and basically almost no wind. He also has a p.b over 200 meters of 20.78 into a negative wind.
At 20 years of age we have most likely only seen the tip of the iceburg of this kids upside potential. Hungary has a very talented sprinter here and hopefully he will inspire more of thier youth to reach new heights in sprinting!

and they continue to punish Russia for cheating 10 years ago, keep some of the worlds best clean athletes from competing this year to punish Russia for fighting with Ukraine and its corrupt government....total corruption and a total travesty by the World sports associations... they let obvious PED users compete with no fear of penalty, women whom testosterone levels are almost on par with men are allowed to compete with women. Interestingly enough the Brit, Steiner and the other American were the only clean sprinters in the final and look at the results.

I really enjoy Ingebritsen as an athlete but what is in his head with all those little tattoos all over his body??

I've seen Pap run before and he does have potential to go near 10 flat with continued natural progression and staying healthy.

If Russia was banned for doping and their athletes had to compete as independent athletes than why is Kenya allowed to have athletes representing their country? Kenyans are getting popped for all kinds of endurance drugs and the runners are big names to small fish that game the system to enter semi pro 5k races to earn a few grand for the winner. Also the Yams on the female side are doping to the hilt as they are doing superwoman times that are putting untouchable doping attained records in jeopardy from the dirty 80's.

DSD athletes are ruining track and field too. Prandidni was robbed off a spot in the final to one(and the prize money for making a final too), Steiner was robbed of a higher cheque for finishing 4th. We also had this creepy phenomenon of an Ethiopian DSD athlete winning a silver medal in the steeple chase. Excellent post White Lightening! It is true that many black sprinters are up to their gills in steroids. What is amazing is how few get popped (more like a token pop to appease the masses) but I have hopes that may change. Heck, look at how ostracized Russia was for doping. I think it is fair to say the Jamaicans and American sprinters are similarly roid-enhanced but since they are black my guess is continued crickets.

Not much to talk about from a White athletes perspective today on the track but Sydney McLaughlin took the world record in the women's 400m hurdles into Warholm land, there was no slight shaving off of a few 100th's or even a tenth or two but over half a second off of her freshly minted world record from the US championships a few weeks ago.

On the surface you would think doping is a possibility but she was a prodigy who made an Olympic semifinal at 16 and has only been getting better and better since. Working against her possibility of being clean besides her unworldly time is that she is coached by Bob Kersee who had a nickname during the Flo Jo era as Bobby "the Chemist" and he coached Flo Jo , JJK and Gail Devers who have both been suspected of doping for decades.








I have to mention Femke Bol who probably saved her silver medal by running her own race as she would have probably died at the top of the stretch like Warholm did and Wade VNK did in the 400m mens' final today. They both tried to run at their old world record pace but didn't have the fitness or maybe the speed in the case of Wade.

PS2 I forgot to mention the women's 400m hurdles has only been contested since 84' so unlike the men's event which has over a 100 years of world level history this event is relatively new and the original winners of world level championships were athletes that were failed sprinters in other events who tried this event to win a world level gold. Sally Gunnel was failed sprint hurdler, Privalova was getting too many injuries from short sprinting and went up to the 400 hurdles to give her hamstrings a break with the events less speed requirements. So the world record has been soft compared to other events. A prodigy could come along and take the world record to another level if she only did this event from middle school on to the senior level.

Yes I was going to post a silver lining to wrap up the world championships but it was golden as the Yams "Super Team" was beaten by the more efficient US team. I'm happy for Prandini as her time to put on the USA singlet has to be in it's twilight hour. Steiner starts off her world level career with a nice golden bonus too.

Speaking of golden bonuses Bassitt will win a gold medal if a disaster doesn't befall the US team as the team is by far and away the best team in the final. The only question is can the team register a time on the all time top ten list.

Whites are also positioned to medal in the decathlon and the defending Olympic champion had a cramp in the 400m dash and pulled up lame so the gold medal is wide open. At the moment a PR NCAA athlete leads the field but Mayer and a slew of others are poised to hit the podium with a good day two.

PS Germany avoided the goose egg in the meet with a shock bronze medal in the relays. In one generation the German team has been reduced to France with the lack of government support of their athletes and no effort to support and recruit talent.

i am looking forward to seeing Emile’s split on the opening leg. he appeared to be no worse than even as he passed off the baton. i thought it was a very good leg. i am also curious why South Africa changed his position to be the starter rather than where he was in the heats ... perhaps his dad will explain the strategy to us when he next logs on. regardless, congratulations to Emile for making the World Championship team and helping them qualify for the final!

the announcers didn’t talk a whole lot about it, but Steiner and Prandini gave Terry (the final leg) a HUGE lead, and USA needed every inch of it to hold off the Yamaican. congratulations to these two outstanding ladies for bringing home a gold medal!

Well at least the Championships had a great ending with that relay. The Diamond League starts up again on August 6th. Still hoping a few of our guys can finish the season strong. Although he peaked too early, Boling had a great year. He will be more seasoned for next year.

I have a trivia for the track nuts here on this board. When was the last time the USA had 2 white sprinters on a Womens 4 x 100 Relay Squad? It's been a very long time. See if anyone can find the answer to this. Very exctiing to see for sure. I was also stoked
to see Germany win the bronze medal. Germany also won the bronze medal at the 2009 World Champs in this same event. So the US wins gold with 2 of the 4 sprinters being white. Germany wins the bronze with 3 of the 4 sprinters who are white. Love it!

I do think we are gonna see a very hot and exciting August and September.to close out the season. The European Under 20 Championships are next month. All of the local meets and Diamond League Races. The Commonwealth Games. Last but not least I'm
most looking forward to the 2022 European Track and Field Championships which starts on August 15th. I think we will see many of our guys and girls make some noise before it's all over with. Hoping Wagner can still dip under 10 as I predicted way back
in March. I also think Browing has a chance once he is healthy. I do think we will see a lot of fast times as many european sprinters saved thier peak for the European Championships. It's gonna be exciting!

I really wanted to give people here some more time to try and answer it. Here is a great video with your answers if you look closely. White Sprinters were so common back in history and more than held their own. They won so many gold medals. I notice
that Wikepedia loves to not show pictures of many if not most of the elite white sprinters from the past yet they show the black sprinters. Wikepedia is just another commie woke website. Hope you enjoy this video of so many great sprinters.

I am a long time follower of track and field, and I can't think of any white US female short sprinters going back to the 1960s.
There was Kathy Hammond who won the bronze medal in the 400m ay the 1972 Olympics, and also Sandra Myers who switched nationality and represented Spain in the sprints.

And I had meant to post earlier this season to note that this truly is the golden age of white American female sprinters.
It started with Jenna Prandini about a decade ago.
Then Hannah Cunliffe came along.
Then Mary Beth Price, followed by Abby Steiner.
All of these women are or have been competitive at the national and international level.
And I expect high school phenom, Mia Brahe-Pederson to join this list in a few years.
