Finally a Browning sighting. I was begining to wonder. That's an ok time for both. I would have expected Doran to be faster but it's his first big intl race so it might have been
the nerves that got to him. At least they both got a great experience racing in Asia against a few big names. Happy to hear this. Still hoping Browning very soon is the 2nd on
my prediction list of the next white sprinters to go sub 10 this year. Time will tell. So happy he is finally back on the track! Thanks for the update mastermulti.

the fastest female in Australasia atm is Zoe Hobbs from New Zealand. She sharpened up at the world indoor 60m for a 7.13 heat and 7.16 semi.
She's also improved her 100 PB this season to 11.15 with an 11.07 (+2.7). She seems to have overcome her time with injury and at 24 seems set for some good years to come.

In this video from Maori news segment she was getting ready to challenge the old NZ record of 11.32 ...... and now this year she's stepped up a level. I really like the Maori language in its soft spoken form - very different to the "haka" warcry they perform on the Rugby field.

in a major coupe, Rohan Browning is moving to Italy for a month to train with Marcel Jabobs to perfect his technique and run faster than he ever has. His coach and Marcel's coach used to compete against one another in the triple jump so they had a shoe in. More news to come

I think it's great as long as he doesn't get tempted to do certain things. I will leave it at that. Aside from that the only way to get better is to race against guys as fast or faster
than you are. Browning and his coach recognize this. They have alot higher goals than just a sub 10. They want to compete in the finals of major championships and have
a chance to make the medal stand someday. I love people that dream and then chase it! Unlike Lemaitre, Browning will do what it takes to become a complete sprinter.

Now if only we could get Tortu to join the camp in training. Doubt it will happen but it would be cool. Good luck to Rohan and Italy has some beautiful women. Hope he doesn't
get too distracted. Haha.

I think this is a mistake on Browning's part, to be associated in anyway with Jacobs if he is finally busted for cheating will bring Browning's authenticity into question. If I were him I would be training with the Japanese or with Tortu. I would also say to train with the Yanks but there is too much doubt about PEDS in the US sprint groups to take that chance. Also training with someone who is alot faster than you is not always a good thing as it can wear you down if you don't show significant improvement. On the flipside at least he is not going to be subjected to the all black locker room cancer as Jacobs is half white.

WL; Browning is a good looking fella and famous so it wont matter what country he is in as he will attract gorgeous women wherever he goes lol

This kid is amazing. Yes it's a tough choice that Simon Ehammer will have to make. Because he is so young I wouldn't give up on the Decathalon
yet. His talent is off the charts. I would enter him in some occasional long jump competitions a few times a year. His explosiveness off the board is incredible! The kid even has a Marvel Type Super Hero Name. Gotta love it!

Ehammer pipped our young gun Ash Moloney in the indoor heptathlon this year. There is one month between them in age so it would be great to see 5 or more years of competition between them as they take over from the older brigade ahed of them.

nice to see Emile Erasmus got a 10.22 (-1.6) on 30th April. If he's uninjured and getting ready to peak that's a nice time. And he ran in the winning relay for a 38.62 win

Here's something interesting... in tomorrow's Pac 12 100m heats, 5 of the 8 contestants in heat 1 (there are 3 heats) are white.
And they have the middle lane assignments all right next to each other!

Great to see jacknyc. Mulholland will make the finals without a doubt. The other guys are up and down so who knows. Schurr hasn't raced much but is way slower than
his senior year of high school last year. Smith may shock a few people or possbile Deringer but only Mulholland has the talent to compete for a medal in the finals at the moment.

Cole Beck made the finals of the 100 & 200 meters at the ACC Championships. Beck ran a 10.23 and 20.71 in the prelims.

Interesting that all the white sprinters are in 1 heat, what a way to eliminate the majority of them one in one fallow swoop and no one will suspect anything... Abby Steiner through with a pedestrian effort of 22.38 in the opening round with Ofili all out to post a 22.23. It will be interesting to see what happens when Steiner lights it up for the whole race, she essentially was shut down at 120m....

Great to see. Cole Beck equaled his p.b. which is suprising as he has not had a good year. Glad he peaked for the ACC Champs. He is
also in the 200 finals later today.

This is a really good time for Beck. Happy he took the silver medal as that is not his best event.

We still have the Big 12 Champs and the Pac 12 Championships going on.

Oklahoma Senior Karson Kowalchuk threw down a wind legal 10.18 in the prelims to advance to the finals. It's a new p.b. for him! Hopefully
he can step it up a little more in the finals. Kowalchuk will also be running in the 200 meters prelims later tonight.

Abby Steiner has to be a little crushed. She ran very good but finished 2nd in both the 100 & 200 meters at the SEC Championships. She was so close to being crowned
a double champion. Sometimes things like this can be a blessing in disguise. No one will work harder to make the tiny adjustments which often is the tiny difference between
winning and losing. These two sprinters are going to have a rivarly for a very long time and that's good for the sport & brings out the best in both of them!

In France today Devin Quinn ran the 100 meters. He won his heat in a seasons best time of 10.26. I couldn't find any wind readings. Quinn is stuck in quick sand as I've said many
times before. I don't see him having even a slight chance to make the US Team. His form is just not there. I do hope he continues to run in Europe and works to get back to the
the form he had a few years ago. Devin Quinn is 25 years old and he still has a chance to reach that next level if he really wants it bad enough. Only time will tell but I admire his
love and passion for the sport. To be able to run for a living is very rare for anyone and at least he is making some modest money and seeing the world at the same time! Keep
living the dream Devin. We are all rooting for you bro!
