Panthers v Falcons. Dreadful Thursday night matchup. This is the last day of my one month free trial of Prime Video. The price was right. I will cancel tomorrow before they take any of my money.

Low key rooting for Carolina just so Tampa stays on top of the NFC South. Heading for the casino, so I won’t be watching.

Not that I have any intention of watching the Thursday night shitshow, but Amazon prime is still quite a good deal overall, I think,

Of all of the tech companies in the last 25 years by far I hate Amazon the least.

Course I also wish my wife and daughters spent less there… haha

With 5 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter till halftime both magical quarteracks have 36 yards passing! These is the
future of the game that the nfl wants. It's for our good and we need to do as we are told. NOT!!!!!

If I didn't play fantasy football I wouldn't be able to stomach most NFL games and would just check the box scores to see how White players did, this one being a good example. Poorly played, terrible quarterbacks, boring as hell, and no atmosphere whatsoever as it's raining, the stands are half-filled and the ones who are there have little interest in cheering for the pathetic Panthers anyway. At least college games have atmosphere.

Not really the place for this post but I will make it quick. My preference of the NCAA over the NFL is an easy one. More of our guys at
ALL POSITIONS to root for. You also have around what seems like 50 games to choose from. I would rather give up a sat. than sunday
to watch and support all of the great white football players across this once great nation.

Even Uncle Al seems bored to tears by this snoozer, and he's being paid millions of fiat bucks to make it sound exciting.

On the other hand, I enjoy hard running and the Panthers have committed to the run. I dig it.

Of course, a good reason for this is because Walker is laughably horrendous.

Is it just me or all of these Thursday night games crappy? I think I heard somewhere the league or the union didn't like playing on Thursday so maybe they're trying to kill it off?

Mariota has been even worse than Walker. There should have been seven easy picks by both teams that were dropped by hands of stone linebackers and d-backs.

easy pass on this game
The first clue that this game was going to lay a goose egg was the pregame show with the seminal Marshawn Lynch grunting and mumbling his way through a HBCU feature on a marching band and getting into a stare down with the only White member of the band. I had to remind myself Lynch went to Cal, not Cal. St. Fullerton.

After that the game seemed like it was played in the worst snow storm in the history of North Carolina or so the box score would make you think. So much for the tank job of the Panthers as Atlanta under the dynamic Mariota was even worse than the Panthers run between the tackles offense.

Tropical Storm Nicole is bringing rain to Carolina (and Atlanta too). But this game would have been a stinker and a snoozefest even without it.

I think with the weekly Thursday night game the NFL has finally reached peak pro football. I hope they add a Friday and a Wednesday night game too and really showcase how boring the pro game has become in the brave new black quarterback era. Nothing will highlight how bad a product this is more quickly!!

I guess it would be less the case if there were more of our guys to watch but since there aren’t…..

My understanding is all 32 teams get one Thursday night game. So, it’s random. But, most of the games are unwatchable because most of the league sucks.

The Thursday games do seem especially awful. My favorite stat from the game -- Falcons rookie RB Tyler Allgeier had 3 receptions for minus 17 yards.

I can see why Jake Funk, Max Borghi, Ryan Nall & Patrick Laird are all sitting at home or languishing on a practice squad.

I think it is no secret that I am most concerned with the lack of opportunity for white running backs. When 2/3 (at least) if star high school running backs are white and then, magically, they are deemed not good enough for college (and then the few that star here are deemed not good enough for pro ball) it grinds my gears.

While whites have made headway in the wide receiver position, slow as it may be, at least we’ve seen growth of multiple guys hitting 1k yards over the last decade or two in Decker, Welker, Nelson, Thielen, Kupp, etc.

On the slip side, only two white running backs have been given the chance for enough rushes to show what they are capable of in Hillis (for one year) and CMC.
There have been a few players get some carries like Woodhead and Burkhead, but more often than not a talented white man is relelgated to getting shuffled on practice squads or inexplicably cut altogether (see treatment of Nall and Funk and Borghi). On the rare occasion a talented running back is made to switch to fullback to block for the “real” athletes (see Janovich, Hester and Horvath, for example).

I get so pissed of about this.

I tried to watch but quickly lost interest. Is what it is. At least ATL had a snowplow and Anderson.

The first quarter of the first ever NFL game in Germany has been terrible, a Coal Bowl punting battle with dumb penalties, the usual fare by the "world's greatest athletes." The German spectators may demand a refund of whatever exorbitant price they paid for their tickets if this keeps up, but of course they're too docile to ever do that.

League just diluting a poor product even more.

Scotty Miller seeing the field some, has a couple catches as Tampa's offense is moving the ball in the second quarter.

Glad Brady and the Bucs beat Psycho Pete, Geno and the Blackhawks. However, Cody Barton had 9 tackles (8 solo) and an interception.

Looking forward to the 1pms, big time bust Golloday is active so Sills is a healthy scratch. Not good.

Brady keeps chugging along. The divorce being finalized gives him that spring in his step again. A good wife is wonderful but a bad
wife or girlfriend can wear you down over time. Some insiders say he is alot happier now. Hope his kids are ok too.

Barton's pick was the key play of the game and sealed the win for Tampa. The rest of Seattle's miniscule White contingent, namely tight ends, had some catches.

Solid game for Brady overall. Glad the German crowd got to see the GOAT play well.
