Weenieworld piles on Chenal. Amazing that a tackling machine with fantastic athleticism has such deficiencies:

Chiefs selected Wisconsin LB Leo Chenal with the No. 103 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Chenal (6'3/250) was a two-year starter who earned second-team All-American honors for his 2021 breakout campaign (115 tackles, 18.5 TFLs, eight sacks, and two forced fumbles). During the pre-draft process, Chenal ran a 4.53 40 with a 40.5-inch vertical and 10-foot-8 broad jump en route to a 9.99 relative athletic score. A muscle-bound power ‘backer with a relentless style, Chenal ricochets off block attempts, packs a wallop, and doesn’t miss tackles. He brings north-south thunder but lacks fluidity. You're best off blitzing him every passing down because he lacks instincts in that phase and has a heck of a time staying within the vicinity of quick-footed opponents. He reminds us of recent first-rounder Jordyn Brooks, another tackling machine who can be an adventure in coverage.

Reminds them of another 1st rounder in Brooks huh? Only Chenal is a White Man and therefore docked 2 rounds.

The Ravens have 6 4th rounders tomorrow. I don't think I have ever seen anything like that before in the draft.

With Leo Chenal's athleticism I don't see why he won't be able to develop as a pass defender.

Right, and Brooks is also a three down back and now the unquestioned leader of the Seattle defense after they released Bobby Wagner.

I just thought of something interesting . 6 x 4 = 24. 2 + 4 = 6. What does it mean?

Nope, you got em all. I need to go back to kindergarten apparently. (I think I had the right number of whites before the Corral pick and then accidentally double-counted him?)

Other than the possibility of a White offensive lineman, the odds are they’ll go 6 for 6 with “dieversity”.

Idk if this is the appropriate thread, but the cardinals now have 3 white dline men, watt, Thomas, and Zach allen. I haven’t combed the roster but I think they only have 3 white offensive linemen. When is the last time an nfl team had more white guys on the dline than oline ?

Pats have 3 4th rounders. They will probably squander them but I see plenty of our guys that make sense.

Yeah I have a feeling this will be 100% afflete Class. So far DWFs love it.

I guess they don’t realize the only thing standing between the Packers and mediocrity is Aaron Rodgers. Unreal how delusional fans can be.

SEC Bias is unreal. "But they played at Georgia! They had the best Defense!" Every DWF I've talked to.

The Commies seem set at QB with Wentz and Heinicke. Much to the dismay of the talking heads. Washington still can add a solid QB in Late Rds: Coan, Kelley, Zappe, Perry, etc.

QB Cole Kelly sure is an interesting prospect. Nearly 6'7" and a nice arm.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them grab Howell if he is around in round 4. They seemed to be well connected to him during the pre draft process.

Hopefully a few QBs go in round 4. After that it's much more of a crapshoot in terms of opportunity and the level of investment/development a team puts into QBs. The NFL is no longer interested in developing QBs but just taking them from college and inserting them in as starters. 4th round is probably the best opportunity to sit, learn and develop while getting reps. Even if they don't develop into starters they can stick around the league as reliable number 2 QBs/spot starters.

Like you said Coan, Kelley, Howell, Perry and Zappe could all be taken here. Coan is the closest thing to Kirk Cousins since Kirk Cousins IMO. I would like to see the Vikings grab him and cut Mond. The Somali Skinny they have as their GM seems hell bent on blowing up the Vikings though.

Carson Strong is another one who should go in round 4. I remember the previous Vikings regime went in person to scout him during the season. He's a redshirt candidate as long as his knee checks out.

Teams I'd like to see draft a White QB today - Rams, Bears, Cardinals, Saints, Vikings, Packers

I cant find the video but I was watching McCaffrey highlights from his Valor senior year of high school and there was this ninth grade starting running back that McCaffrey tackled ( he played corner on defense ) and guess who he tackled ? Max Borghi. Damn cool.
Excellent work Red Raider!! Thanks for saving me the typing! It's like peanut butter & jelly when we do the Pre-season "Position Previews". I might have Kyle Philips in the 4th round ; but does he get a drop to Round 5 -6 due to his pale skin condition? Would hope not! ...
In a fair world 5 White DB's get selected!
Well said Leonardfan ...thanks for your list too....

Agreed! WOW! Disappointed in Charles ...he's slipping up big time! We have been comparing Max Borghi to CMC ""lite"" since he came out of HS in the Denver area ....
He had been on some Top 10 RB Pre -season list ....the Covid season screwed things up + nagging injury for Combine & this past season was in a NEW offense ; he fell down the rankings. At the very least Borghi can be a Rotation RB as a versatile 3rd Down back much like James White was used for the Patriots. A 5'-10" 205lb 4.5 type

.....of course Nall and Horvath are comparable....give those guys a chance to be a "Bell Cow" RB getting 20-25 carries and they are capable of 100+ yard games rushing

...ZZ Zach Zenner is in his own special category ...i talked to black dudes that couldn't believe he never was Drafted despite THREE consecutive 2,000 yard seasons & 61 TD's! Should have been mid-Round pick at the very least. ...Bet Pierre Strong (South Dakota St) gets Drafted

Very cool. Despite these 2 stud RBs coming out of Denver suburbs in recent years. Most recruiters still don't consider Colorado "fertile recruiting ground".
