Another anonymous hit job on a White quarterback right before the draft. This comes from Albert Breer, the same loser who claims Andy Isabella has had many opportunities with the Cardinals. Why does this "offensive coordinator" have to remain anonymous, as if the quote is legit he doesn't have to worry about his team drafting Corral. More fake news from a fake news source:

An NFL offensive coordinator told Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer Ole Miss QB Matt Corral has “off-field questions.”
“He’s kind of a mess. I’m not sure you want him leading your program. His issues aren’t the kind solved by giving millions of dollars." Corral had the lowest Wonderlic (15) among the top 12 quarterbacks. The character concerns date back to high school and Corral’s early years at Ole Miss, where he backed up his first two seasons. There are doubts whether Corral can run an NFL offense coming from Lane Kiffin’s zone-read scheme, giving him a wide range of outcomes in a weak class with no consensus. Corral had top-30 visits with the Eagles, Falcons, Panthers, and Steelers.

Where are these wonderlic scores coming from? It's funny that a White QB is being labeled as a potential liability due to the offense he ran in college but that never seems to be an issue with the quotas coming out.

Here is a list of Wonderlic scores for every White quarterback drafted in the first three rounds of the 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 drafts (2020 was the last year official Wonderlic scores were available):

Justin Herbert: 39
Josh Allen: 37
Daniel Jones: 37
Joe Burrow: 34
Will Grier: 30
Josh Rosen: 29
Sam Darnold: 28
Mason Rudolph: 28
C.J. Beathard: 26
Drew Lock: 26
Baker Mayfield: 25
Mitch Trubisky: 25
Davis Webb: 25

The average score for these guys is 30 (29.92 to be exact). None of them scored below 25. A score of 20 indicates average intelligence. Every single White quarterback drafted in the top three rounds in four recent years has been of significantly above average intelligence.

But now we're expected to believe that in a test that's supposedly no longer given, Corral got a 15 and Pickett got a 17? Where are these numbers coming from? These are not official results, they are numbers from anonymous "sources" that we're supposed to just blindly accept.

Are we really expected to believe that the two top White QB prospects just magically happened to have the lowest Wonderlic scores? Are we really expected to believe these numbers that are statistically improbable compared to the known and confirmed results of high-ranked White QB prospects of recent years?

Color me skeptical about this. The evidence suggests that Corral and Pickett's supposed low scores are FAKE NEWS.

I'm sure Matt Corral will be a good quarterback. I still wonder though why Corral was chosen over John Rhys Plumlee to be the starter at Ole Miss. Plumlee rushed for over
1000 yards as a quartterback. His passing game would have improved with time. Not many kids come in as a freshman or sophmore and light it up with their arm right away.
My feelings are that he was blackballed because the NCAA didn't want another Johnny Manziel running wild and making all the defensive guys look slow. Plumlee was has a
high top speed gear up there with just about anyone. He literally embarassed teams with his speed. So why not build on that? Well I think we all know why.

Back to Corral. He is also a duel threat and he can make an impact with his arm or his legs. While not as fast as Plumlee, he still has what it takes to get it done in the NFL. I do
think it will take a 2 to 3 seasons of slowly bringing him along. Hopefully a team drafts him and is patient as the results should come with time.

Very crude fake news, but as long as most "mainstream media" readers accept it at face value it will have served its purpose, and Weenieworld has a large audience. Weenieworld is owned by NBC, which explains why it's such a reliable outlet of extremist anti-White content.

100% agree Jerry Reb. Honestly, my official stance is to not believe anything the MSM says about white men. I will then, if important, do my own research to find the truth.

Bur my default is to assume they are lying and 9/10 I will be correct in that assumption.

Borghi and Horvath both ran faster than Spiller. Borghi was a better all around back. Spiller enjoyed 172 more rushing attempts than Borghi. Borghi is hands down the better all purpose back and absolutely crushes Spiller in terms of receiving ability.

Pro Football Network's Aaron Wilson reports Texas A&M RB Isaiah Spiller "has drawn heavy interest" from teams during the pre-draft process.

Wilson reports that Spiller (6'1/225) visited with the Texans, Buccaneers and Bills, while also holding virtual meetings with the Ravens and Packers. The Falcons and Commanders are also reportedly interested in Spiller, who some analysts have ranked as the top RB of the 2022 class. In three seasons at Texas A&M, Spiller totaled 541 carries for 2,993 yards and 25 touchdowns, and added another 74 receptions for 585 yards and one score

On the topic of Borghi. No teams brought him in for visits (not even the local team - the blackos). The Bills are the team that popped up earlier during the draft process and he has confirmed meeting with them via video. Borghi to the Bills would be a good end result come draft day.

https://www.denverpost.com/2022/04/21/max-borghi-nfl-draft-projection-pomona-washington-state/

Max Borghi is just waiting for his moment to say I told you so.

The Pomona High alum is not considered among the best running backs in this year’s draft class. Many rankings don’t even have Borghi in the top 20, despite the Washington State star tying the school record with 41 total TDs as a dual-threat workhorse over the past four seasons.

Borghi, the 2017 winner of The Denver Post’s Gold Helmet Award, is motivated by that lack of attention heading into next week’s draft. He is projected to be a late-round pick, if he’s selected at all.

“I feel like I’m disrespected in this draft,” Borghi said. “It just fuels me. I’m not really being talked about, I’m barely being mentioned in the top backs. But I know what I’m capable of, and that’s just more fuel to the fire.

“I really feel like I’m one of the biggest sleepers in this draft. There was more hype and talk about me in earlier years. But I’m still the same player, I’m still the same guy. Once I get my time to show it, the country’s going to start to learn who I am.”

With the Cougars, Borghi amassed 369 carries for 2,158 yards to pair with 156 catches for 1,134 yards. His game is modeled after the likes of fellow Coloradans Christian McCaffrey (Valor Christian, now with the Panthers) and Austin Ekeler (Eaton, Chargers). Borghi is dynamic catching balls out of the backfield and is tough to corral once he gets to the edge or in open space.

“He’s always been a tough, physical runner, and he’s got kind of a unique running style where his shoulder pads are pretty far out in front of him — he’s got a little bend at the waist there,” says ex-Washington State running backs coach Eric Mele, now special teams coordinator at Mississippi State.

“So when people go to tackle him, they’re eating his face-mask and shoulder pads, and they can’t get to his legs, which keep churning behind him. His style is unique and effective, and he’s built to run the football in addition to what we know he can do receiving and as a home-run hitter.”

Borghi hasn’t visited any teams during the pre-draft process but has done video calls with an array of them. The Broncos, Chargers, Bills, Chiefs and Lions are among those with the most interest.

The running back’s stock this spring was affected by a high ankle sprain that Borghi suffered on the first day of practice for the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. That kept him out of that game and the combine, but Borghi healed up in time for the Cougars’ pro day, where he ran a 4.47-second 40-yard dash.

“The process was a little bumpy and not exactly what I wanted, but I dealt with it and I’m glad I’m better now,” Borghi said. “My mindset’s in the same spot as it has been. I just need my shot and my opportunity, and whatever team takes that shot on me is going to get a great player, someone who has a lot in the tank, and like I said at the combine — someone who is ready to be unleashed.”

Borghi burst onto the collegiate scene in Mike Leach’s Air Raid offense during the running back’s first couple years on campus. He had 12 total TDs as a freshman. Then, as a sophomore, was the lone Power 5 player with at least 800 rushing yards and 550 receiving yards. A back injury and a COVID cancellation limited Borghi to one game in 2020, but he rebounded with 880 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior.

Current WSU running backs coach Brian Smith, who called Borghi “a complete player,” said Borghi improved between the tackles to address the criticism that he is a marginal power runner and lacks the strength to run inside in the NFL.

“What you saw more of was him finishing runs, physical and going forward, as opposed to going out the sideline,” Smith said. “He was good down around the goal line in his first couple years (at WSU) — he was tough to tackle and always falling forward — so you could see that physicality potential when he was near the goal line. He brought that out more the past two seasons.”

If he’s selected next weekend, Borghi would be the third Pomona player drafted, joining tight end Frank Wainright in 1991 (eighth round, Saints) and offensive lineman Derek West in 1995 (fifth round, Colts).

As a mind exercise I decided to put together an all white team from this year's draft.

On offense I'm going to have a traditional team with a fullback, two wide receivers and a tight end. On defense I'm going to have a 4-3.

I'm not as familiar with this year's draft as I have been in the past so if anyone has any suggestions feel free to tell me. Also, sometimes it's hard to tell if someone's white or not. If I make a mistake let me know and I'll pick someone else.

QB Matt Corral. He seems the best combination of current skills and upside.
RB Max Borghi. Deserves to ne an NFL starter on merit.
FB John Chenal. Has the makings of a top NFL fullback.

WR Alec Pierce. High end speed. Ran a 4.33 at the combine which was altered later.
WR Tanner Conner. A 230 pound X receiver.
TE Tre McBride. The best receiving TE in the class.
OT Trevor Penning. Probably will be the best OT in the class.
OT Bernard Raimann. High end athleticism.
OG Cole Strange. See above.
OG Luke Goedeke. Converting from tackle.
OC Tyler Lindstrom. A top prospect, talked about for years.

Now defense.

DE Chad Hutchinson. Best defensive player in the draft.
DE George Karlaftis. Good fit on the strong side.
DT John Ridgeway. Going by Leonardfan's list on this one.
DT Matt Henningsen. See above.
SLB Chad Muma. Future All-Pro.
MLB Leo Chenal. Future All-Pro.
WLB Troy Andersen. Freak athlete and - future All-Pro.
CB Scott Nelson. Converted safety. Good athleticism to be a big corner.
CB Jack Koerner. Converted safety. Good athleticism to be a big corner.
SS Sterling Weatherford. 8.85 RAS.
FS Reed Blankenship. Good instincts, solid athleticism.

There you have my All-White 2022 NFL draft team. If this team went into the NFL they'd be a playoff team very quickly.

Very interesting extra point. I don't think I've seen anyone do that with football. We have had many complete mock basketball teams. It reminds me of when
I was a kid. My friends would get mad at me when I could control the teams players because I would pick white teams and still go and kick butt in the video games. :)

Great article on Max Borghi. I agree with alot of you that Buffalo would be just perfect. I can also see New England as they were very fair to Danny Woodhead. I also
believe that cold weather is an advantage to running backs.

When he was going through the draft process, Justin Herbert's real Wonderlic score of 39 was reported as much lower than it really was by some (((news source))), and then it was picked up by all the other (((news sources))) that are controlled by the same people. I don't believe for a second that it was an accident. It was the same thing that's being done to Pickett and Corral this year.

I think it was done to WR Alec Pierce too. He ran a 4.33 at the combine. Later it was reported as 4.41.

Malik Willis has an "electric personality."

Maybe at the combine they can hook prospects up to some sort of battery tester to measure the electricity they generate.

That and the "room brightening smile" and you've got one hell of a drool factor. At least with some of those writers.

It's hard to pick just 2 guys in this years draft. One on offense and one on defense that have the potential to be pro bowlers someday.

I will take my shot. Defense is easy with Aidan Hutchinson who is an absolute monster. Barring a tragic injury he is as sure a pick as your
gonna find on either side of the ball. I can see him having Watt type potential as he is such an elite high caliber athlete.

On offense I will go wih Alec Pierce. I was a little torn here with other guys I considered but Pierce can be another Jordy Nelson. Now for that
to happen he will need to be drafted in the first 3 or 4 rounds to a team that will play him NOW. I don't mean a few reps. Put him out there for
as many snap counts as possible and let him grow and learn quickly to the faster speed of the NFL. He has all the tools to be a star.

Absolutely, Alex Pierce is the most talented receiver in this draft but to hear the pundits speak, one would think he didn’t exist.

If he goes to a good team with a fair shot to play he will become a star.

The hatchet job on Matt Corral continues. Now it's not just "off the field" issues, but his release and accuracy. This time, the anonymous scouts are "universally critical," every single one lolol. More very crude fake news from fake news Weenieworld.

The Athletic's Bruce Feldman reports NFL scouts are concerned with Ole Miss QB Matt Corral's release and his accuracy.
Scouts interviewed by Feldman were universally critical of Corral's pro day, where his release was "too quick" and led to throws "sprayed everywhere." "Compact is good and quick is good, but now it’s almost so shot-puttish it can lead to a good amount of batted balls," one scout told Feldman. "That motion can limit your throw repertoire." Corral's release didn't seem to affect his accuracy at Ole Miss in 2021. He ranked 15th among all college quarterbacks with a 67.9 percent completion rate. Pro Football Focus found Corral's completion rate over expected to be the lowest among the presumed top-five QBs off the draft board, though his actual completion rate was second among those signal callers. One of the most polarizing players in this year's draft class, Corral has a wide range of outcomes. At best, he could compete for a Week 1 starting job on a team without an established quarterback.

Would love to see Karlaftis fall to 22 for Green Bay.

Good news Jags don't want Hutchinson. They'd ruin him.

Baalke is an awful GM. Amazing that he stayed in Jacksonville when they fired Meyer. Supposedly the owner likes Hutchison. It’s really a no brainer - he is the best player in the draft but Ballke likes “dat upside” type players.

I’ve also seen Scott Nelson connected to the Packers. He would be there first white DB since Jeremy Unterl (that I can recall). Karlaftis will be a good pro - think Aaron Kampman.
