Britain Covey had an outstanding freshman year at Utah. Kind of fell off after his mission. Hope he gets a combine invite, but I wouldn't expect it. He also be, what, 24-25 now?
Had serious knee injury that nearly ended his career. Took him basically an extra year to get near 100%. He will have the odds stacked against him for numerous reasons ; i wouldn't count him out.

Riley Moss and Kenny Pickett both headed to the Senior Bowl. There should be a few other Iowa defensive players, Wisconsin defensive players and Max Borghi that should all get invites.

RB Max Borghi officially declares for the draft. I guess he is still classified as a junior.

This is a very smart move for a running back. They have short careers on the average with some exceptions. Hopefully he can draw alot of interest in the mid to
later rounds.

Good news, we need him to get that Senior Bowl and Combine invites. Be crucial for him.

If Strong's knee was 100% he would be my pick for first QB off the board. A lot of his draft stock hinges on how the medical checkouts of his knee go. Best arm in the class and great accuracy throwing the deep ball.

Nevada QB Carson Strong entered the 2022 NFL Draft.

Strong (6'4/215) followed up his breakout 2020 campaign with an even better 2021, as he was one of only five quarterbacks to throw for more than 4,000 yards in the regular season while leading the Wolfpack to a 8-4 record. He raised his NFL Draft profile by completing 367-of-527 passes for 4,192 yards, 8.0 yards per attempt and a 36-to-8 ratio while earning a superb 90.3 passing grade from PFF that ranks as the eighth best mark in the country. Strong has displayed NFL level arm strength and accuracy while setting the Wolfpack's all time single-season passing touchdown record, but his mobility is in question and he has dealt with knee problems. He joins tight end Cole Turner as Nevada players who declared for the 2022 NFL Draft and will now focus on the upcoming Senior Bowl. Strong is trending around the fifth-to-ninth ranked QB in the 2022 class on recent industry big boards.

Names are beginning to show up for some of the lesser known/covered bowls - namely the Shrine Game and Hula Bowl.

The Hula Bowl has invited some of the bigger names we know. Unfortunately, this is the least regarded of the three draft bowls. Some real talent - it looks like the Senior Bowl is a-ok with continuing to ignore White athletes. The Caste System marches on.

QB Cole Kelley - he should be a senior bowl invite.
RB Clint Ratkovich - also has a shrine game invite
RB Zander Horvath - surprised to see him leave - I want to see him in the NFL...all he needs is a chance.
FB Joey Kenny
WR Andrew Kamienski - D-3 - surprise small school player - I've never heard of him.
LB Silas Kelly
LB Teddy Gallagher
LB Blaze Alldredge

Shrine Game Invites
QB EJ Perry
WR Tanner Conner
TE Lucas Krull
TE Nick Muse
TE Gerrit Prince
LB Diego Fagot
LB Micah McFadden
LB Troy Andersen
S Reed Blankenship

Nevada QB Carson Strong gets a senior bowl invite. If he puts in a good week and his knee checks out medically his stock will rise. Best arm in the draft.

Notre Dame QB Jack Coan invited to the Shrine Game...I thought he should have gotten a Senior Bowl invite.

Agreed. Media still hyping up Malik Willis as a 1st rounder though. I'd take Coan over their pet project anytime.

Day 1 of this draft, at least, should be interesting to watch. I fear that Days 2 & 3 will follow the same Caste quota as has been consistent for the past several years. The main things that break the year-to-year monotony are the strength of the QB class and the occasional White breakout player at a taboo position (C. McCaffrey, the Bosa brothers, etc.)

SDSU DE Cameron Thomas gets a senior bowl invite. We could see three White DEs taken in round 1 in 2022.

Pretty good looking list! Could use another WR cough cough Jack Sorenson!

Also rumor has it Wisconsin FS Scott Nelson is planning on going pro after Tonight's Bowl Game against ASU.

Matt Corral with a serious injury. Hoping he now slips to a better team (Redskins, Vikings).

where's Bailey Zappe? He is the best QB by far in the draft and will go on to be a hall of famer

Chenal was a beast - huge playmaker. Alot of really good LBs in this draft.

Wisconsin junior LB Leo Chenal declared for the NFL Draft on Monday.

The catalyst of the Badgers defense is heading to the NFL. Chenal (6'2/255) earned second-team All-American honors for the Badgers this year. He missed the first two games due to COVID-19 and still amassed 115 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, and eight sacks, which ranked second on the team. Chenal can do a little bit of everything but projects best as a three-down linebacker at the next level.
