2022 College Football Week 8

yes, sir. lots of holes to patch on that side of the ball ...

the defense steps up again! Iowa gives the ball to OSU on their own 34 this time (after the punter failed to run for a first down), but the Whitehawks continue to deny the Buckeyes touchdowns. they hold to another field goal.

and DeJean had perfect coverage. the announcer said “there could’ve been a flag” but he’s obviously lost his mind. PERFECT position by DeJean.
It could have been offenses pass Interference. He grabbed the guy’s hand and was pulling it down and then cried that he didn’t get a fake call

The guys were extra motivated to play their rivals so there was just a lot more preparation and film study this week!
LOL. without a doubt! Hahaha!!!

OSU starts the drive inside the Iowa 35 for the fourth time in the first half. wow. that this game is still close is a MASSIVE tribute to that Whitehawk defense.

PERFECT coverage by Moss in the end zone.

both Moss and DeJean have been left on islands in this game with no safety help, yet OSU hasn’t been able to make them pay despite”superior” athletes ... “weird,” huh?

Iowa’s defense steps up again and forced another field goal.

I need to get home so I can watch this game! I haven’t seen them play all season I wish they would get dejean involved in offense.

good grief. Petras fails again. he finally throws a touchdown, but it’s to the White linebacker for OSU, Tommy Eichenberg.

Damn looks like Van Dyke landed on his shoulder, he is down and injured.

Campbell with an instinctive, try hard, gym rat INT.

In reality it was one of the most athletic INTs of the year.

wow. just wow. the Iowa backup quarterback comes in and promptly fumbles the first snap.

but then the defense holds AGAIN. WOW! the Whitehawk defense is putting on a show today.

but then ANOTHER interception. wow. just wow.

after getting the ball at the 6 yard line, Ohio State goes for it in fourth down. it’s ruled a touchdown catch (1v1 against Moss), but i didn’t think the ball crossed the goal line.

Fumble lost by Shipley. Defense holds. Interception Uglyladie. Dabo has the White backup warming up.

Clemson seems to be sold on DJ no matter what. DJ with 2 more interceptions today.I will say this. Syracuse is a legitimate top 25 teams and still undefeated. Slightly rooting for Clemson but I like watching the Syracuse Orangemen. Garrett Schrader is one of the most athletic qb's in the country.

Shipley is us up to 112 yards late 3rd quarter but Clemson neeeds some points in a hurry.

One last thing. Cade Klubnik is in the game and is 1 of 2 passing for 18 yards as the 3rd quarter just ended with Clemson in the red zone.

Iowa’s defense is all-world. their offense is all bad. (except for LaPorta)

Hawkeyes defense can't do anything about the inept offense. Stroud's mediocre performance should make the media pump the brakes on all the Heisman talk.

regarding Stroud, the Buckeyes are still airing it out, but they aren’t targeting either Moss or DeJean for anything other than quick outs. all their completions are coming elsewhere. the OSU passing game isn’t as good as advertised.

Nope. The insufferable Day is doing his best to pad Stroud's stats.

credit where it’s due; that play was beautiful. Stroud was given all day to throw, and he beat DeJean who almost broke up the pass. the result was a walk-in td. the first big play of the day. hat tip to them.

Will Shipley takes it to the house on a 50 yard touchdown run! Wow and Clemson regains the lead! :)

for you guys watching Syracuse-Clemson, how has the long safety for the Orange, Justin Barron, looked?
