I think McCarthy has won the qb competition for Michigan.

I wonder if Jack Miller will take over at some point during the season for Florida.

Houston DE Derek Parish was destroying the Texas Tech OL today, we could not stop him. 10 tackles, 6 TFL, 4 sacks, 1 FF.

Wow that’s impressive. I’ll be sure to pass that along to the senior bowl as they are slotting him as a fullback at the next level.

I’d imagine he would be the national defensive player of the week.

Announcers were saying the same thing that he was going to be a fullback in the NFL, I understand he is small for a DE but he could easily be a ILB or OLB especially considering he played middle linebacker in high school.

BYU is all tied up with Baylor 20-20 in the 4th quarter. Hoping the Cougars can pull this win out.

Super tall 6'4 Freshman BYU Receiver has 7 catches for 85 yards and 1 td so far. This kid has a very bright future. One to watch closely!

Chase Roberts is amazing! He is up to 8-122-1 now and he has a TD pass.

Big Ten West in shambles... Iowa, Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Nebraska all lose home games as favorites. Minnesota is the only unblemished record after Week 2 (although the division is technically wide open). Just an awful look for the whiter half of the whitest power conference. Big Ten East is undefeated fwiw.

Down in Tucson they are in love with certain magical quarterbacks like they are in Tempe. So the U of A is copying ASU to keep
whitey down at the qb and most other positions. Well the magical Jayden de Laura for the Cats is 21 of 41 with 3 interceptions.
He is only a sophmore but dont worry they have other 2 or 3 other magical backup qb's. So the wildcats will continue to lose like they do
every year but they look cool and hip doing it following all the other teams. What a joke!

Seems like it will be one of those years. The "master recruiter" now head coach for Notre Dame is convinced he has his quarterback though LOL. Should be a long year for the Irish. Iowa ruining a dominant defense is disheartening. Wisco and Northwestern will probably be 9-3/8-4 type teams. The Duke-Northwestern game was actually one of the better games yesterday. At least the Wildcats have a quarterback. I didn't see any of the Wisconsin game but much like Texas they have a hyped up running back that did not produce up to his supposed talent level.

At least Texas A&M, UF, South Carolina all lost. A&M had supposed playoff aspirations. Florida had the next black quarterback savior totally **** the the bed like many of us said he would hopefully laying the groundwork for a QB controversy. South Carolina with it's clown head coach and overrated/enabled black quarterback lost.

That’s disappointing but not surprising to hear. Far too many programs have gone this route. I guess they all think they can be the next Ohio St with a magic quota leading them to the promise land. The reality is, there aren’t many good black quarterbacks and the few that are won’t be going to these lesser programs. So they’ll flounder, while better White QBs who genuinely could elevate a program, are ignored.

Scott Frost BOOTED!

Frost's buyout clause went down by $8 million on October 1st. This is a ridiculously frivolous move to waste the endowment of a public university. Can't argue outside of the logistics though - Frost couldn't win the big one... or any of the small ones.

What a disappointing tenure for Frost. I wonder if Whipple will take over for the rest of the season.

Ewers out 4-6 weeks. His injury along with the no call safety helped Alabama steal the win.

Writing was on the wall for Frost. Rough go at it. He did bring some positives like White LBs back to Nebraska. Interested to see if he gets another crack at a HC spot or its back to OC .

Thanks ElGringo! Colleto Swiss Army Knife has a nose for the End Zone!

Alabama would have lost if not for Ewers Injury in 1st Qtr.+ Missed 20 yard FG chip shot. Wanted to see if the wild mullet man lived up to the hype ...looked like the real deal 134 yards passing just 1st qtr! The Longhorns Too bad WR Jake Smith didn't stick around (USC either?)

What's up with Nebraska's Defense? Iowa's Offense?? Hawkeyes stud Defense needs some help!

Sun Belt flexing it's muscles....App St over Texas A&M; MArshall stuns Notre Dame ; Ga. Southern knocks off Nebraska!

Miller is listed as a TE, but played WR/SR against Clemson. At 6'2, 221lbs. and 4.5 speed and caught everything against Clemson, and tough as nails. He should get a serious look. I expect him to go into the 6-7 round if he has a good pro-day. Furman's QB Tyler Huff looked great as well. He went 30/39 256 yards and a TD against a tough Clemson defense. Who knows what he could've done with an FBS line in front of him.
