Marshall's Ethan Payne had 6 carries for 32 yards. Should get more action next season as the starter for Marshall is 24 year old Khalan Laborn. Hopefully, he's finally graduating or moving on.

It’s seems like we have a larger stable of starting or rotational running back this year. Maybe the most since I’ve been aware of the Caste System. A good sign, which is rare in college football as it’s going down the toilet at most other positions.

Marshall's Ethan Payne had 6 carries for 32 yards. Should get more action next season as the starter for Marshall is 24 year old Khalan Laborn. Hopefully, he's finally graduating or moving on.

Appreciate that Carolina Speed. So he had an additional 2 carries for 24 (long of 22) yards after checking Box Score during the Marshall/App St game. At the time Ethan Payne had 4 carries 8 yards; must have thought game was over; forgot to check back....
.....he had a 100+ yard game in the opener vs FCS Norfolk St ; but not much since. Like to see him as a Stater(or more in the rotation) next season.
Was hoping to see Anderson Castle get a few carries too....but that did not happen

No.Illinois back up QB Justin Lynch had 83 yards rushing on just 6 carries ....but only 0 for 1 passing
