Rohan finishes in 5th place running a time of 10.09! The start was what did him in. He made up some ground but just didn't have
enough time. He has nothing to be ashamed of. I'm bummed as he had the talent to make the final but needed a great start which
he usually is capable. His start wasn't horrible but in an elite field it all had to go perfect. Tortu ran a time of 10.16 Sad night for
our guys. Especially Browning as you can see he is in sub 10 shape. What a shame.

Su Bingtian looked like he was straining so much near the line I thought he'd injure himself. But 9.83 ... stunning!
Jacobs ensures Tortu will not hold the Italian record again ... but Tortu will always be remembered as the one who broke Mennea's record.

Filippo Tortu had a tough year but I just have to say that his form is amazing. His starts are always average and that is what usually does him in. I do
think that he could add some strength to his lower and upper body. You never know though as some guys slow down as they bulk up. Lemaitre was
better when he was skinny as a rail. He didn't get much bigger but it seemed to slow him down and he had more injuries. Maybe Filippo Tortu should
just work on his start and try to get down to a 6'50 or lower in the 60 meters. His form holds speed for a long time. He just can't be trailing by so much.
Su Bingtian went all out but it was worth it. A 9.83 is very rare territory. Congrats on the new Asian Record. Degrasse and the kid from England look natural.

do you think Su Bingtian can run like that again in 2 hours W/L? He looked upright and almost leaning backwards near the end. I'm worried he'll be having back problems and stiff as a board within 2 hours time

I think obviously juiced sprinters should be called out even if they are ahead of the current testing regime. I understand the athlete trying to become rich and using various PED’s. My dislike is related to western media glorifying only black athletes as a way to destroy White youth mentality.
I was angry when I read about the Australian Marine being attacked in his own country by Sudanese savages. I have no stake in Australia. Did that piss you off?

Clayton Murphy comes from way back to get second in heat2. He is a master tactician in 800m running. He was bronze in 2016. I think he will beat that placing this Olympics.

Interestingly if you remove all convicted drug cheats he is 7th all time.
Gay USA/Gatlin USA/Coleman USA/Blake JAM/Carter JAM/Mullings JAM have all been caught.
Su at 5-7/150 has a 6.42 60m to go with the 9.83 100m. He is an all time Caste System breaker.

Rojas VEN broke my friend Inessa Kravets 26 year old Triple Jump World Record of 15.50m. Records are made to be broken but it is a disappointment none the less.
Su is a flat out caste buster. He is living proof you don't have to be African to run an elite time at 100 meters. Browning is frustrating for me in that I am hung up on the 10.00 time. I know if he would have sat down on it just a little harder, he would have broken it. Everything has to be just right in those races, and if you wait until tomorrow, you many never get your chance. Yes, I hope he takes his great conditioning to Europe and makes a few more stabs at it in events where he does not have to worry about saving himself.
To me, Jacobs' improvement of more than 0.2 seconds is very, very suspicious.

I hate to say this but Warholm looks to be in tough against the other top 4 guys. Benjamin eased off sooner than Warholm and looked much more at ease.
I love Su but he has acne on his face at his age. Acne is rare for asians in general...
Bummed for Browning but he got a poor start...
Del Ponte had a terrible start, almost fell and still came back for 5th. She would have been much closer with a much better start.
Femke Bol should not have run the 4x400m mixed realy....
Barsham jumps 2.30m as seasonal best then jumps 2.39m for co gold...hmmmmm

The 3 Chinese(men?) in the Womens SP final are so masculine it is scary to watch.
The Yank who finished second in the womens SP is so out of control emotionally, possibly phsycotic? Do the Americans have any white female Shot putters anymore?

Yeah, Sprintstar, I have to agree with you about Su. He is 31 years old and running better than ever. He just does not fit the profile of a natural athlete. But on the bright side, he is not African. Maybe some young kids will see that.
Jacobs representing Italy, AND being an obvious drug cheat is just a travesty. We live in clown world. It's all very discouraging. It's hard to know what is what. When you go to the gym, and you see someone bench 400 lbs, you don't know to what degree it's a testament to his dedication or the chemicals he is ingesting.
Seeing athletes like Browning and Lemaitre does give us some indication of what non drug times and progression look like. At least we can compare.

this MASSIVE improvement also stood out to me ... i’m not the track historian many of you are, but i can’t think of any examples of where our guys made these HUGE improvements on their personal-bests after reaching the pro ranks. most of our guys, even while still at the collegiate age, start battling to shave off mere hundredths of a second (ala Rohan Browning) and are SUPER EXCITED when this happens. yet so many black sprinters, even those who have already been longtime pros, shave these massive fractions off their times and no one bats an eye.
it’s frustrating to be sure.

They are for example ....the no1 users of beta blockers in the world and No1 producers of PED in the world .PERIOD
Their state doping is more severe than any other country including Russia or Jamaica . In the 90s they got caught very frequently , but they improved their stealth tactics ....
