Joe Flacco threw for 291 yards and 2 TDs in a losing cause today. He and Colt McCoy, both backups, were two of the best quarterbacks today. We'll see what Herbert, Big Ben, Brady and Jones do tonight and tomorrow. . .

Pete's Plantation takes another loss. Ironically it may be in our own best interest to root for a tight race between the Rams and Cardinals in the NFC West, so that in Week 18 the Rams don't rest their starters including Kupp (who now leads Samuel by 147 yards with an equal number of games played!)

I think Pete's Plantation is on it's inevitable decline. They overpaid for Jamal Adams and have fielded awful o-lines for the past 4-5 seasons. All they have are Wilson and a few receivers at this point. The "12th Man" homefield advantage has certainly lost it's luster as well.

That’s true. When they were really good, Wilson was on a rookie contract, they had a top defense and a strong running attack. They’ve totally altered their DNA to play off Wilson’s strengths but neglected everywhere else. The results are now evident.

Regarding their 12th man DWFs, perhaps they’ve been too preoccupied rioting for the black criminal d’jour or shooting smack in the town square.

I had it on until halftime...with the sound off. So yes, he is that off putting. :)

I had it on in the background and turned it off with about ten minutes to go and then Pittsburgh scored two straight touchdowns and tied the game then took the lead with a field goal. I did see a Pittsburgh corner back play a bomb like a little league outfielder and get burnt like toast too so the Chargers retook the lead. Thank god no White men can play that position less a safety in an all hands on deck situation...

PS Rabbi Al and Christina will talk this up but this game looked like Arena League junk...

I tried to start using a new antenna and now I can't get the channel with the game on.

I really hate that Cam Newton is back and hogging the ball again. He's a competent QB at times, but too much of a diva and even more so now, with a chip on his shoulder. Give the damn ball to McCaffrey! (not that he had a bad game with 119 yards and a TD but it could be so much more!).

FTR I like the name WFT, but I have an eccentric sort of humor. So next week the Rams visit GB being a lifelong GB fan but overlay the Caste System on it my choice for who I want to win is a near tossup. Yesterday's results in a close game with a .500 team might have had me a bit upset, but today with the Clown World antics and the NFL's hearty participation in the system I was mildly entertained.

Then again I'm a "goy" who usually does not pay full retail especially for "narrative."

Herbert had a huge game last night. Fell asleep so I missed the 2nd half...he's impressive.

I agree... Cam is ok at times, but their is NO reason a qb should carry the ball as often as an all-pro running back like CMC. I know he is an excellent receiver and hauled in 7 catches yesterday but I would like to see him with a couple fewer receptions if they come at the expense of carries.

Herbert was masterful. He reminds me quite a bit of Josh Allen -- very tall and athletic with a strong and accurate arm, excellent running ability, and lots of smarts.

He didn't run a single time last night out of panic because he didn't see someone open right away, ala many "mobile" QBs. He scoured the field and when he saw gaping holes to run through, he took advantage of that.

Three game losing streak for the Saints while Hill mostly wastes away on the bench. But hey the "locker room" is happy.
He came came back from Concussion only to hurt his Foot ....he was only available as an "Emergency" yesterday.

The shot that caused his concussion(dirty BS!) a few weeks ago bent his neck backwards; it was scary! Rumor i had heard Taysom later said had a 45 minute spell where everything was forgotten.

Not sure why Giants d-coordinator is getting any sort of buzz as a head coaching candidate (besides the obvious reason).

Brady has looked sharp so far.

I thought he was okay initially landing Martinez, Fackrell, Mayo at LB. Now all 3 are gone or injured.

As the brothers might say, the Giants are gonna Giants (did I say that right, any Black lurkers feel free to correct my attempt at ebonics). For a long period of time they were one of the most relatively White friendly organizations, but when they turned they turned hard-core and apparently permanently.

Hey look Perriman dropped a sure TD pass from Brady. Must be nice to have that many chances.
