Jack Coan dislocates his finger and gets it popped back in place on game winning drive for Notre Dame. He's really helping his Draft Stock!

Great performance by SE Louisiana's Cole Kelley! Faced good competition in LA Tech and showed his potential leading his team to 42pts and just short of an upset. I agree with @Leonardfan his Draft Stock should be soaring.

Will Taylor had a nice long punt return for Clemson.

Baseball player/5’10”/backup qb
I see Taylor also had 5 carries for 20 yards. Are they using him as a running back as well? I assume so because 2 other backup quarterbacks not named Will Taylor were used in the game.

Glad to see Shipley have a good game. Their two Qb options on the depth chart are unacceptable to me though. Save for Trevor Lawrence They have been a black quarterback program under Swinney. Oogabooga has been hyped up since last summer when he arrived on campus - the media hinted he was better than Lawrence. So far he should be considered a bust - he was not dominant last year when he had to play for Lawrence while he was injured.

A rational draft “analyst” would look at Kelley - a form SEC recruit who played under the train wreck former coaching staff and look at his play last year and how so far this year he has improved. He’s a huge QB but also nimble/athletic with a very good arm playing in a pass heavy offense. Then they would look at the privileged Trey Lance who got hype right away after being inserted as starter onto a stacked FCS team but had erratic passing ability/accuracy (this was illustrated this preseason but ignored by the media) and was picked third overall. Kelley still seems to be off the draft radar - I’m doing my best to pester the senior bowl and get him some exposure via Twitter. Most amateur draftniks are all aboard the quota express though and just believe that Whites are no longer capable of playing the position.

I believe they had him in wildcat scenarios with designed runs since he didn’t attempt a pass, he was also used as a punt returner.

UTSA WR Cade Stoever (not to be confused with Ohio State’s Cade Stover) led the team with 2 catches for 84 yards yesterday.

I did not catch any of the late games - some fairly surprising upsets

Stanford defeating USC was a big upset. Perhaps McKee is the QB that will fill the Luck/Hogan void. They still have no consistent running game but at least McKee played well. Hopefully Filkins gets more touches as the season progresses. Not sure how much of this defeat was based on the performance of Slovis.

Arkansas defeating Texas was another big upset. I am guessing Sark will bench his White freshman QB now. Ironically the pregame chatter was all about the Texas Longhorns running game and the supposed cog in the Longhorns offense looked to be stifled for much of the game with the three White LBs for the Razorbacks leading the team in tackles - Hayden Henry 15 total tackles (3 solo) 2.5 TFL, Grant Morgan 13 total tackles (4 solo) TFL and Bumper Pool 10 total tackles (1 solo) - looks like they were all in on the action.

Miss St defating NC State another surpring outcome. The Wolfpack boast a strong defense but for now it looks like Leach found a QB to run his offense.

Carson Strong had a good performance against an FCS foe - 34/43 381 YDS 4 TDs - he has been the most consistent QB over the first two weeks of the season out of any of the preseason QBs mentioned as 1st round draft picks.

I will say that Ohio St is in trouble - they can tout their black quarterback but he has played two subpar defenses - Minnesota almost lost to Miami (OH) yesterday and Fresno St QB Jake Haener performed well vs the Oregon defense last week. Oregon was also without the supposed best player in the 2022 draft - DE Kavon Thibodeaux. I also have to point out how wide open receivers are on the throws the OSU quota makes for big plays. OSU's defense was hyped up and has been pretty bad the first two weeks of the season. It looks like the next three weeks are all wins for OSU on paper. They avoid both Iowa and Wisconsin in the regular season.

Both Michigan and Michigan St. have been impressive through two weeks. Harblow seems to have rediscovered strong defense/running game are recipes for success and Sparty has looked good on both sides of the ball - QB Payton Thorne is the surprise player thus far. Along with their running game and stout defense they certainly have a chance to beat the Buckeyes as long as they remain healthy.

After Saturday's 34-7 win over Eastern Michigan, Wisconsin offensive tackle Tyler Beach accused Eastern Michigan defensive end Turan Rush of spitting and stomping on players.
This news broke after the game, and video replays reportedly support some of these claims made by Beach. Rush, a senior, is a starting defensive end for EMU and has 87 career tackles, 15 tackles for a loss and 13.5 career sacks in 32 career games.

that's a fairly easy fix if an opponent stomps or spits, we would take that players knees out and bury him for good. Problem solved Wisconsin, next....

I just now saw the video of Will Shipley. Man is this kid a special talent or what! Thank you for posting this! It helped to cheer me up after watching
the US Open and see Novak get beat in straight sets with a chance to make history. Clemson will be must see tv this year!

Is anyone watching Stanford? They used to be a must watch.....I saw on the stat sheet Casey Filkins had one carry (during the first drive) for minus ten yards.....
Probably a trick play.....I’m thinking he’s third/ fourth string so he’d only be in that early if they were trying something funny......
He got leg whipped and there was no penalty on his lone running play.

Hmmm, with a name like Turan and considering those antics in a sports game we certainly need to evaluate the continual "evil of Whiteness" that caused it.

Has anyone reported Dabo to Caste HQ yet? Shipley highlights

He runs with a lot of patience. Hopefully he'll add about 10 pounds as he continues to mature physically, which will make him a good size for a three down role in the NFL, should that most unfair of leagues give him the opportunity at the next level.

I hope Will Taylor gains 25lbs and Dabo puts him in the backfield with Shipley. They could possibly be the quickest backfield in the country.
