Bama loss is always Great!

Imo Texas and Oklahoma both suck donkey balls. I can't get fully behind that basketball on grass ******** with zero physicality on Defense!

Called that game. LOL! Best part is the overrated Rattler is falling down draft boards!

It was nice to see Wisconsin go to a very run heavy offense. The defense dominated that game. Mertz limited in his throws. He trusts his arm way too much. I think Badgers will end up 8-4/7-5 which is not terrible considering.

The UM-Nebraska game was entertaining as well. The Cornhuskers defense had White defenders flying every where. The game really encapsulated how Adrian Martinez is the issue - he is streaky and makes costly turn overs - the fumble at the end of the game allowed UM to win late. McNamara had a knack for getting rid of the ball right before getting hit as well.

Yup Rattler replaced by a new more affletic Quota lol.

Wisconsin definitely looked better running the ball and the Defense is friggin solid. Mertz still had a "eh" performance for me. Far too erratic and ya he trusts his arm, way too damn much.

Wasn't able to catch that Nebraska/Michigan game. Did notice Martinez another costly turnover as you mentioned. Nebraska just can't finish a game. IF Frost survives this season, he might have a chance at righting the ship with a competent QB.

The PSU-Iowa game was one of the more entertaining games I have seen in awhile. Iowa has this knack for sticking around, they weren't built back to come back from that deficit but Clifford getting injured helped. The passing game will need to become more prominent in the second half of the season. Koerner and Moss both had INTs.

I think Clifford is a junior for PSU so he will probably be back next year - his back up was awful - pretty sure he was a 4 star dual threat QB but he was not accurate and does not have a strong arm - doubtful he is the long term successor to Clifford and is more indicative of the bogus rating system that all of the recruiting services use.

Knew the black out was soon coming . Gambled with a long post (trying to remember all that info) but lost it late in the afternoon. Glad to see things up and running finally this evening.

Great write-up! Did not realize Cash had a pick 6!

McConkey becoming a big play guy in the SEC is also big news. I know I sound like a broken record but UGA's championship hinges on a healthy JT Daniels. I really do hope he is able to come back to play the back half of the schedule. I'd take UGA over Alabama any day.

I also noticed RB Brady Schipper got some carries for the Badgers - 6 carries 36 yds

John Chenal had 9 carries 28 yds and a TD. Great to see a fullback getting carries.

Jack Coan saved ND after being benched/coming back into the game. Kelly continues to think Buchner is the future of the position - he threw two INTs - one a pick 6. Drew Pyne needs to consider transferring after the season if Kelly decides on Buchner. Coan to his credit came back in and led a late game winning drive.

Alec Pierce is a good athlete who has an explosive first few steps(he is already by the corner before they can turn to run with him), then he has deep speed, all at 6-4. He is a great athlete by NFL standards and is a first round talent who will go in round 3 because he is White.

Riley Moss is another great skilled cornerback and good athlete who is a first round talent and may get drafted in round 6/7 because he is White.

Max Borghi is an excellent runner and pass catcher who fits into the modern NFL running back role. He too is a first/ second round talent who will go in round 5/6/7 because he is White.

It does sound like Moss is getting a lot of positive buzz, he may end up being this generation's Eric Weddle. Trying to be optimistic about him as he has played very well this year. Borghi has had some injuries this year but is certainly worth of being a 15-20 touch guy in the NFL and should be a third round pick.

Mizzou RB Dawson Downing had 4 carries for 73 yards including a 60 yard TD. He needs more carries!

I doubt he will get those, from the TV coverage it looked like the starting RB was having a bit of a hissy that he was losing carries to the 3rd string RB in what should have been garbage time, I could be wrong.

"Stars" a totally corrupt racket, our local HS hero QB should be ranked with most of the quotas, great legs, great eye for the run, he gets his yards by a little jink this way or that way, great arm strength. He gets a bit happy footed and will chuck up a ball off his back foot and since he is not the magical kind I doubt a Power 5 beneficiary of the stars racket will make an offer.

Ladd McConkey (Georgia) 135 Yards Receiving on 5 receptions & TD from 60 yards! No P5 Offers
Ladd was offered by Georgia and Vanderbilt. He's not a walkon (I made the same mistake a couple of weeks ago). Georgia's QB (Stetson Bennett IV) was originally a walkon, and their nickleback (Dan Jackson) is a walkon for now. Ladd was a 3 star prospect who weighed only 155 in high school. He has muscled up a little bit to 185 and was expected to be a punt returner and white special teams demon this year. Injuries to upsiders have pushed him into the rotation, and he just keeps delivering.

Bennett has played very well. Great story and I am glad he is having a great season. I don’t mean to rip on him when I state that Daniels needs to return as the starter but the arm talent and ability are noticeable on Daniels. McConkey and Bowers both emerging in the most caste conference in college football is another great story. Both of them have 1000 yard capability.

PFF identified five whities for their First Team honors in week 6 (three were o-linemen). The best of the best:

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: QB ZACH CALZADA, TEXAS A&M
The Texas A&M quarterback struggled to find his footing over the first five weeks of the 2021 season and entered his Week 6 game against Alabama as the second-lowest-graded passer in the SEC. From holding onto the ball too long to crumbling under pressure, there was a lot wrong with his play in his first few starts. But those issues were nowhere to be found on Saturday night.

The 6-foot-4, 210-pound quarterback earned an 83.1 passing grade in Week 6 upon first review, the sixth-best mark ever earned by a quarterback going up against the vaunted Alabama defense.

Calzada and the Aggies generated a 56.8% successful pass play rate for the game. The only passing offense that has managed to generate a higher rate against Alabama since 2014? That would be the 2019 LSU Tigers.

The Aggies signal-caller was as composed as can be against the Tide and looked anything but the quarterback who ranked fourth-to-last in the FBS in pressured-passing grade through Week 5.

Calzada was pressured on 11 dropbacks in total; he didn’t take a single sack and completed seven passes for 123 yards and two scores. He also recorded two big-time throws and zero turnover-worthy plays.

Incredible turnaround for Calzada against the supposed #1 team. I wonder what sort of force majeur it would take for Alabama to fall out of the top five…

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: EDGE AIDAN HUTCHINSON, MICHIGAN
Hutchinson takes home PFF’s Defensive Player of the Week Award for the second consecutive week after posting a 92.7 grade against Nebraska on first review.

The Michigan star looked unblockable once again, generating eight pressures on 26 pass-rush reps. Hutchinson even tacked on a few more wins to give him a 40% win rate for the game.

That high level of play was there in the run game, too, as he earned a positive grade on over a third of his run plays. All of this led Hutchinson to a grade above 80.0 against the run and as a pass-rusher, something no other edge defender did in Week 6.

At this point, Hutchinson’s season ending knee injury last year is far in the rear view mirror. He’s popped up at #5 on some mock drafts and could inch even higher.

Iowa has a serious chance at making the National Chamionship. I hate saying that as it could jinx it but I'm gonna be positive anyway!

Alabama Slama!!! Love seeing them lose.
Yes! I have been backing them for years. They have the best Defense and very CF Friendly. College football would hate a white friendly team winning.

To add to the Riley moss injury, their coach who according to Iowa fans is incredibly careful with his words and never says anything he’s not sure of, said he’s optimistic about moss. I also saws a video of a student at the Iowa game celebrating with moss after the win, moss jumping around having fun, looking healthy

Also how awesome is it that the best team in the nations number 1 receiver is McConkey! Even when all the inured 4 and 5 star receivers come back I believe he’ll stick as a starter.

Some good field rushes this week. Iowa of course after their big win, also Texas A&M after knocking off Alabama.
