Looks like Wisconsin will end up 8-4. Not a bad record considering where they were earlier in the season. Mertz needs to work on his mechanics.

Mertz and Chryst were both pathetic tonight. Couldn't muster one offensive TD lol.

Badgers will never be a great team. They lack the balance. Even when they have an above average Defense, they have a below average offense. Guaranteed Iowa is kicking themselves for blowing their opportunity at a Big Championship. Good for Minnesota, they stuck in there all year and deserved that win over a lethargic and boring Badgers team.

Yea the Badgers were overly reliant on the run game during their winning streak. The Gophers did a good job matching strength vs strength. Mertz was unable to keep the Gophers honest on defense.

Iowa - Michigan for the Big Ten title next week. If UM wins they should be in the playoff. Auburn blows the upset.

The Ohio St loss made my day though so now I am just doing my QB scouting in these late games - Pickett, Coan AND Strong.

Great pass by Max Johnson for the long TD. The supposed rumor is that Cuck Riley is the target for LSU. So Johnson will probably need to transfer out (Nussmeier might too as well) if this rumor proves to be true.

Will Shipley is healthy again. His is as explosive as McCaffrey when healthy or if not very close to the same type of ability. As he continues to improve
he should have a chance to rush for well over 1000 yards in the coming years. His only knock so far is staying healthy. I predict next year he will be able
to play every game. It's tough to make the adjustment from high school to college. Everyone is so much faster and so much stronger.

You're welcome. Shipley 55 yards in the first quarter, however he dropped an easy pass. As I'm speaking Shipley breaks one for 11 yards at 66 now.

Oh no Pace with a 40 yard TD Run. Are we looking at the Clemson version of SMU's Pony Express? James and Dickerson. As mentioned by White Lightening. Pace is a good RB.
Shipley 66 yards. Pace 54 yards

So, after all the success with Shipley and Pace. Dabo sends in the 3rd string RB Mafah and he gets as many carries in one drive as Shipley does in the first quarter and a half. Shipley at 68 yards. I wish they would just let Shipley run for the first 2-3 quarters and get the big lead and then put in your 2nd and 3rd string?? He would get 150-200 yards if they would just let him go.

Looks like Shipley will finish the first half after a couple of nice carries late in the second quarter with 86 yards on 10 carries and a TD.

are they getting him into open space, or is he running consistently between the tackles.

Mostly between the tackles, but they are getting him in space on a few carries. It's interesting though because despite being met at the line of scrimmage, he's getting tough yardage. He's looking very strong for a freshman. They just ran a sweep and he got nothing.

Both QB's for this game are horrible. So much so that the Gamecock black QB has been replaced by a former graduate assistant.

What's more impressive to me is that he has only 15 carries for 117 yards and one touchdown. That's about 8 yards per carry and we still have
one quarter left of football. The kid is amazing! :)
Now with 128 yards on 19 carries. It's interesting that Pace after that 40 yard TD run and last weeks performance only has 7 carries. Not complaining. Just saying.

Uiagalelei has suffered one of the biggest falls from hype since the beginning of the season. Credit to the Clemson coaching staff for having the ability to change the offense to a run heavy attack and rely on the defense. 9-3 is pretty impressive for the lack of production they received from the QB position.

Indiana was probably the worst overall team selected by the prognosticators - they were top 10 coming into the season and end up going winless in the big ten.

Nevada QB Carson Strong with his 3rd TD of the first half. Great accuracy and ball placement. He's currently 10-11 165 yds 3 TDs

Carson Strong injured...looks like a leg/knee injury. He has previous knee injury dating back to high school. Hopefully this is not a major injury. Not sure why Strong is even throwing the ball at the end of the half up 31-0.
