That does suck for her as that time is world class. The US, Jamaica, Caribbean Islands, Kenya, Ethiopia are by far the worst dopers as far as Track & Field goes, although I would not be surprised if China was right up there as well, their history of cheating in swimming/diving is legendary.

Anderson's time of 52,18 in the 400m is more of what she is capable of, If this translates to her outdoor season we should see very good times from her. Physically she is a wonderfully built for speed.

The SEC Indoor Conference Championships are this weekend in Texas. Let's see what Boling can do when the medals on on the line. Alot of pressure in his first championships
at the collegiate level. Not sure what events he will be in but hoping at least the 60 and 200 meters.

Matthew Boling won his preliminary heat in the 200 meters running a time of 20.74! Let's see how he does in the finals. Would love to see him dip into the 20.50's range indoors. You rarely
see that and that would give us an idea of the type of shape he will be in for the outdoor season coming soon.

Very unusual to have top white sprinters in the SEC.

Matthew Boling and Abby Steiner were the leading qualifiers in the men's and women's 200m at the SEC Championships.

Boling won his section of the finals (20.71), but came in 2nd overall based on times. Still, pretty good for a freshman.
But Abby Steiner won her section and also had the fastest time, 22.57; so she is the SEC Indoor 200m Champion! She's a sophomore.

Also Trey Cunningham of Florida State won the ACC 60m Hurdles in a meet record, 7.64. He's a junior.

Good job Abby Steiner (KY) winning an SEC speed event.

Might add the top two finishers in the women's high jump were senior Ellen Ekholm (6'3 1/4 ") and junior Abigail O'Donaghue(6'2").

I've said if before but I'm glad Boling keeps losing. He will train like animal until he gets back ontop of the podium.

I am not worried about Boilings indoor 200’s, he is a longframe and the 400m track is more suited to his long strides. Abby Steiner is laying down some fast times.

I should also note that Abby Steiner came in 6th in the 60m, with a time of 7.38.

Brian Faust of Purdue took 3rd at the Big 10 Championships in a very good time of 46.15.
He won his section of the finals, but came 3rd based on time.

Cole Beck took 4th in both the 60m and 200m at the ACC Championships. His times were 6.68 and 21.16.

Aussie gal Eleanor Patterson sets new Aussie female HJ record 1.99m and gets Olympic qualifying mark also. Well done!

This Polish Teenager is one of the best talents to come out of Poland in a very long time. He just might be the male version of Swoboda on the female side and she is an elite talent.

one thing to note about Abby Steiners 200m time, it was just .17 off the collegiate record and .12 off the meet record, so she was a blazin!

Good time for a guy with 10.50 legal PB.
Let's see how he goes in the next month or so because that's worth a still wind 10.30. Lakeside (where he did it) is sea level

He seems to be taking track more seriously now. He usually runs handicap races like this - he's red haired, 2nd from right

With gold at the last two year European championships – outdoors in Berlin in 2018 and indoors in Glasgow last March – Greece’s Miltiadis Tentoglou has established himself as Europe’s finest and as one of the best long jumpers in the world at the age of 21. He jumped to a European lead of 8.26 in the long jump at the Greek Indoor Champs!

Lucas Jakubczyk goes on a farewell tour

With 10.07 seconds, Lucas Jakubczyk (SCC Berlin) is still the third fastest German of all time. With the DLV relay, he won international medals and was also one of the best in Europe individually. At the end of the season, the 35-year-old will hang up his spikes. But before that he wants to go to Olympia one last time.This guy was a long jumper until he was almost 30 years of age. I often wonder if he would have trained with for the sprints from a teenager what Lucas Jakubczyk might have accomplished? He had a solid career regardless and should still hold his head high. I've enjoyed following both him and
Julian Reus(German All Time Record Holder 10.01) over the last decade. I imagine that Reus might also retire after the olympics athough he is 3 or 4 years younger than Jakubczyk.

NCAA indoor champs coming up in a few hours.
I'm looking forward to it with Steiner and Boling etc, and have also found that 8 Aussies are competing this year. I like it when Aussies can compete in a pressure cooker environment like this with depth we can't muster over here (not to mention that we have no indoor meets in this country)

Sadly all NCAA spring sports have been cancelled which includes Track and Field.
