Good question, and Rodent Nagy knows the answer. David Montgomery had 10 carries for 27 yards. Cordarelle Patterson had 3 carries for 5 yards. Ryan Nall, no carries. Pertinent paragraph from the below article:

Robert Tonyan is on pace for a breakout season with 173 receiving yards after 4 games. He's 26 years old and in his 3rd season. He had 100 receiving yards last season and 77 in 2018. So what took so long? Why wasn't he used this frequently in 2018?

Five as Edelman is on pace to break 1,000 yds. Renfrow is on pace for 796. Amandola is on pace for 708. Adam Humphrues has only played 3 games due to a bye and has 136 receiving yards. Berrios has 123, but wasn't targeted in game 1. Isabella has 117 yds, but he's being underutilized. So that's ten wide receivers to watch.

And our guys dominate at tight end - there's too many to mention.

The newer look Packers are more appealing now and frankly the added infusion of speed by both LB Summers and TE Tonyan makes the Packers a better more dangerous team. Their lively legs give the Packers a much needed giddy-up. I would hate to think that when the bland Mercedes Lewis and Kirksey return they will be handed back their starting jobs. But my guess is that is what will happen.

Again no one else has commented on this but the contrast between the two announcing teams sealed my opinion last night. Jim Nance and Tony Romo are one of my favorite announcing duos. The three man tag team of Levy, Griese and Riddick on the other hand sounded awful, at least to me. I was on the fence earlier but they make for a boring stew. And Riddick slyly got in a caste dig at Summers when the game opened when he opined the Falcons needed to attack the Pack up the middle ala meaning Summers.

I saw someone else complain about them last night too by saying they sound like some castaway low level college announcing team. Having both Griese and Riddick in the booth together is redundant. Not a big fan of the cluttered three man booth to begin with but they only make matters worse by having two similarly voiced guys spouting the same bromides. The original MNF booth of Frank, Don and Howard were a hit because they were all so different and distinct. In an effort to keep it in house and save money ESPN has delivered a thin gruel with this group. I would be interested to hear what other members think of this crew?

I second the motion and thank member ramicakle for giving us updates on the wide receiver stats.

Also wanted to add the Chiefs LB Ben Niemann recovered yet another fumble last night and he is a nice addition on passing downs. Next step is for him to start. And Falcons TE Hayden Hurst showed off his athleticism last night by leaping over a Packer. The Patriots defense played well enough for them to steal a win last night but their offensive blunders ( and there were too many to count) sealed their fate.

The forward toss to the runner is considered a pass, that's how Mahomes got credit for two td passes.

Caleb Scott got caught on the Honky Express. This is my guess. They looked at his name on the roster wire and to go along with his tremendous speed etc. they thought he was black. Caleb Scott sort of sounds black to me too. When surprise-surprise this white receiver showed up on the practice squad their GM did a double take and quickly handed Scott his walking papers.

I think the ultimate example of this would be WR Jaelon Acklin who’s 6’2” and tan 4.4, I always skimmed over his name on the ravens roster cause Jaelon does NOT scream white to me haha

Ha. This has to be the best example of "name misdirection" jacque? Jaelon. Imagine the kind of fun to be had when he was a budding prospect. Guy should have kept his real race a secret somehow. Maybe in this day of the mask he could have pulled it off and we could be seeing him star on Sundays. And the team beat writers would fall in love with him. I get a giggle out of this one.

Question for Bucky, at the Packer's propaganda site I was reading a comment thread and a couple of gimps were ripping on Lowry and Lancaster, especially pinning the NFC Championship D disaster on them. I thought Frisco popped its runs off tackle in that game and aren't L & L at least average? I think the only time I would put Lowry as sub average in a game is when the Packers looked like they dressed 3 or 4 DL for a game in 2019 and they were gassed and beaten like dirty rugs.

Ya Lowry and Lancaster have been targets. Never mind they eat up all the blocks so the "Smith bros" can go get sacks. I wouldn't say either is spectacular, but very solid. As a White Player being solid isn't enough.

San Francisco had no problem getting to the edge in that game. I also think it was Pettines scheme. Aka have Blake cover a lot of ground as only LB in a dime package.

Exactly, good point. Its been discussed before here that White Players have to play at an All Pro Level to keep a job in The NFL. Higher standards for the Honkeys.

Add Blake Martinez to that list, I think he is/was better than AJ Hawk both not spectacular but very solid thruout all aspects. Hawk had a good not great career just fortunate enough that the Caste System had not degenerated into the hysteria it is now. The CS being a fine example of a bully system

Hawk gets attacked by the DWFs because he was drafted early but didn't become a superstar, but there are plenty of black defensive players who followed similar or worse paths but never get bashed. Hawk was better than 70% of black starting linebackers in the league but like has been said, that's not good enough for lunch pailers.
