They can push the agenda all they want. You can't do what Lamar does game after game as your older. He is already banged up from the last game. He is probable to play thursday night but the effects of
the season are starting to build up. If the Ravens keep winning expect them to rest Lamar Jackson alot down the stretch. He isn't in high school or college no more and father time gets tougher every year! This is exactly why this style will never last for a decade or longer. Too many injuries and father time slows down even the best of athletes. You can't run fast forever. What does he have after that. Jackson is a very poor to mediocre passer on his best day.
I actually agree completely. It frustrates me to no end how highly-paid professional defensive coordinators and their upside-laden defenses can't defend a run-of-the-mill college spread offense. Lamar is in a perfect storm. Great defense, excellent offensive line, competent running backs, outstanding WHITE tight ends x 3 and a decent WR or two, with an offense lifted straight out of Louisville. You remove ANY of these elements and Baltimore is 9-5 and fighting for a playoff spot.

Memphis LB/S Austin Hall is another draft worthy player - really productive and a play maker. So far he has been overlooked.

Tanner Muse has been invited to the East West Shrine game - unreal that he did not get a senior bowl invite yet.

He's getting the same treatment as Andrew Wingard.. Only. Muse plays for the best team in the country. I've already seen "draft gurus" slotting him to OLB as well. Let's hope the Stud Bros have a great game against Ohio State.

He reminds me of John Lynch - would love to see him end up in San Fran.

At least he's still slotted on defense. I can't stand it when white D-Linemen are forcibly moved to the O-line because of racial stereotyping.

Agreed. We can thank Plantation Pete for this trend(Markus Kuhn)

Normally I don't mind seeing some of our bigger safeties transitioning to LB, but Muse is a different story. He belongs in the back half of the defense roaming.

Heisman trophy winner Joe Burrow looks as if he might be the number one pick in the draft. He had a tremendous season and looks as if he can carry over his college success into the pros.

The Bengals might draft him with the number one overall pick.

I'd love to see the Bengals pass on him and the Dolphins end up getting him and then invest in some white o-linemen with all of the draft capital they have. I'd be curious to hear Tannehill17's thoughts on what he thinks Miami should do.

An older article on another overlooked draft prospect - App St LB Jordan Fehr - he runs a report sub 4.5 40 at 230 lbs! Perhaps this year's Cole Holcomb

https://hcsportsnews.com/app-state-lb-jordan-fehr-makes-bruce-feldmans-freak-athlete-list/

Baylor DL James Lynch seems to be getting some positive buzz - he has yet to declare.

Thanks for the heads up on Fehr, I'm going to trt to catch App State's Bowl Game.

Lynch is a beast! He might be able to Garner some 1st Rd buzz with a sub 5 40 time.

Utah St. LB David Woodward has declared for the draft. He missed just about the last half of the season with an unspecified injury.

https://www.sltrib.com/sports/utah-state-sports/2019/12/16/utah-state-star/

Still flummoxed by this "unspecified injury" tag. I don't ever recall injured black stars being labeled that. What the hell is that?

Hopefully it is something he fully recovers from come draft time. Glad Woodward declared and looks like a first or near first round talent to me. Has all the tools and then some.

If Burrow goes to the Bengals he'd be displacing both Dalton and Finley. I want the kid to be drafted early and succeed while displacing as few White quarterbacks as possible, preferably zero.

Should be an interesting offseason in regards to the field of QB's. Prepare yourselves for the onslaught of Tua worship, and the attempt to build Jalen Hurts into some sort of Lamar Jackson clone.

To me the real QB sleeper and possible big time late first /second round pick is Michigan's Shea Patterson. Shea was just named the Wolverines MVP for the season. After a sluggish start due to adjusting to really bad play schemes, Shea has been brilliant the back half of the season and he fits the so called new NFL mold of being a quick athletic quarterback apart from the fact he is white.

Look for big hybrid DT/DE Aiden Hutchinson, who also won a team defensive award, to become a high draft pick in 2021. Michigan plays Alabama in one of the better bowl matchups. Citrus Bowl 1:00 (ABC) on New Years Day.

Watching ESPN and Todd McShay has his mock draft out. Whoopee. Guy is like crab grass. He just threw the Bosa brothers under the bus and declared Chase Young is better than them. I have a high grade on Chase Young but what an asinine comment. To be expected from him though. We are all familiar with McShay's idiocy by now.

He does have Joe Burrow first but decided Tua is the next Drew Brees. Talk bout a leap of faith. But if he thinks Tua is Brees who does he think Burrow is? Joe Montana? Again until proven otherwise I am leery of Alabama "system" quarterbacks. Tua has shown flashes plus there are now injury concerns but it is hard to decipher things since his receiving fleet is the best in the nation by a country mile. And a great offensive line.

Did make an interesting comment about Justin Herbert a player Leonardfan is very high on. He compared him to Josh Allen which is high praise indeed. I see some of the similarities. I have two main questions regarding Herbert. Does he have the leadership qualities of Josh? And does he possess the rugged mentality of Allen? If he can master the mental aspects of the game then I would agree he could become something special.

Some good news as Shea Patterson was invited to the Senior Bowl.

Some other potentially good news as black quarterback Jordan Love was arrested for marijuana possession - should be interesting to see how this all pans out. My guess is their will be lots of excuses made for him. Unfortunately both he and mestizo Steven Montez received senior bowl invites. My guess is Jalen Hurts will get another one. Burrow and Herbert will both get invites. Nate Stanley should get an invite as well. Jake Luton from Oregon St is also worthy of an invite.

I have no use for McShay or his input - he's a hack. Truthteller talked some sense into me when I posted about McShay stating that the Giants should draft another QB to potentially displace Daniel Jones. Herbert is a more polished passer than Allen was coming out but not as athletic. I think Herbert is closer to Wentz than Allen. Ironically Herbert put up his best year this season while not having the full compliment of receivers and TEs at his disposal which is similar to what Wentz has been doing with his dumpster fire of offensive "talent" outside of the elite Ertz and 2nd year TE Goedert.

Bashing the Bosa's to hype up Chase Young as some sort of generational talent is a joke but it's to be expected. Young is a very good DE but the younger Bosa's combination of talent, athletic ability and stamina are really something to behold. I feel Nick has bypassed Joey. I would not mind seeing the Bengals pass on Burrow to get Young though as I stated above. I really would like Burrow on the Dolphins.

Joe Burrow is about as "pro ready" as they come in terms of mastering an actual pro style offense (LSU's passing game coordinator is Joe Brady who spent two seasons in New Orleans with Drew Brees to give everyone an idea of the type of offense Burrow was running). His jump from his junior to senior year was stellar - his ability to read defenses and go through more than one progression really stands out. His athleticism is underrated - of course and his ability to keep plays alive is phenomenal. I have been reading about people question his arm strength - it is above average to very good and we just saw what Brees accomplished with an average arm. Joe's mental makeup and the chip on his shoulder are two things that really make me think he is as sure of a thing you can get at the QB position. The fact he shredded every coal SEC defense (along with Texas) and played his best against the best teams makes me very high on his pro prospects. Hopefully he ends up with a competent offensive coordinator and head coach - an issue that is hampering other young white QBs right now. Burrow is just a fantastic prospect.

I was impressed with Burrow all year and even more impressed when he brought attention to the poor community he's from in Southeast Ohio in his Heisman acceptance speech. The forgotten poor White's in Appalachian States still suffer a ton of poverty and drug addiction. Glad to see Burrow shine some light on that situation. Supposedly donations have been flooding in to his hometown's food pantry!

I like the Herbert to Wentz comparison. Herbert has a great test against a Top10 Wisconsin Defense in his Bowl Game and Patterson against Alabama. Good opportunity to shine and boost or lower draft stock..

I agree Young is a beast but to cutdown Bosa's to build him up is a total McGay move. He also has 8 WRs drafted in 1st. Lol ya we all know the track record on that.

I think we all figured this would be the likely outcome as they try to sweep the marijuana related arrest under the rug. I hope he ends up on the Colts as he is nothing more than a Brissett clone - or even better he goes undrafted like the Buffalo black quarterback did last year.

Utah State QB Jordan Love has been cleared to play in Friday's Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl matchup against Kent State after being arrested on a misdemeanor charge of marijuana possession earlier this week.

Love (6'4/225), who has already announced that he will enter the 2020 NFL Draft, RB Gerold Bright and WR Sean Carter have all be cleared to play in the bowl game since this is their first offense. In total seven people were charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession after police officers responded to a call that a group of individuals were smoking marijuana in a Logan apartment. Despite struggling with turnovers for much of this season, Love still has a chance of being selected in the first round of this spring's NFL Draft.

That would be nice but I don't see it happening. I think the Fins will end up taking Tua. I'm not as down on Tua as some other posters on this site. He's not black (I know Poly's are kind of viewed the same way blacks are on this forum) but I do like the fact that he seems like a decent person who comes from a strong family unit and a Christian background. I saw his interview on the 700 Club and came away impressed with him. The only thing I don't like about him is that due to his non-white status, he's being hyped up the same way most black quarterbacks are. He's compared to guys like Russell Wilson and is seen as part of the "new breed" of QB's. I wouldn't be totally against drafting Tua, although I'd prefer Burrow or Herbert.

As for the OL. That scares me a little. This draft is littered with sumos. I hope they resist the temptation to draft OL early because quality white OL can usually be found in the later rounds.
