Baylor defensive tackle James Lynch just announced that he was leaving the program a year early to declare for the 2020 NFL Draft.
Lynch, an All-American pick and Big 12 defensive player of the year, with 10.5 sacks and 15.5 tackles for loss.
Panthers new coach is Rhule, he recruited Lynch...

Lynch could be a first round pick, I see him as the next JJ Watt. White guy over 290lbs that can pass rush and defend the run equally as well.
 
Virginia Tech TE Dalton Keene has declared for the draft.

Texas Tech DE Houston Miller also declared for the draft despite never playing defense in college. He had 3 career tackles all on special teams. Probably the last we’ll hear from him but I hope not.
 
I think it's a foregone conclusion that QB Joe Burrow will be the number one pick in the draft.

The Bengals plan should be to take Burrow with their number one pick. They should follow up by adding an offensive tackle and a guard, perhaps in the 2nd and 3rd round. They should not make the mistake some teams make and ignore the offensive line. They should keep Andy Dalton as a bridge quarterback and not rush Burrow into action. With the rest of their picks they should concentrate on getting help at the offensive skill positions.
 
Joe Burrow truly is a great story - the rare kind these days where the achievements came before the hype.

Oddly enough it looks to be around a quarter of the players invited are white - goes right along with the 25% mark we see every year during the draft. The Senior Bowl looks to be a little worse - not all invites have been announced yet.

Glasgow played LB at Michigan this season and performed well. In a fair world he would slip in as a late round choice but who knows.

By the way S Tanner Muse, (who I don't think is playing in any post season all star game?) here is my thoughts. A superb athlete and people may not know this but he was debating whether to go the baseball route out of high school. All I want is for him to be drafted. Then we can worry about what happens next. I pray he gets invited to the NFL Combine. By the way I predict a 4.38-4.53 40 where I have a sense he will likely nail a 4.44 40 which at his size would be terrific. The Giants just hired a special teams coach to run the show and while a team should draft him eyeing his potential at safety he is the perfect special teams candidate and I could see him becoming a fixture for years as a special teams demon at the very least. I know that sounds a bit downgrading but I want to see his name light up on draft day. I just love Tanner at the next level in one capacity or another. Just a special player and believe me even as a special teamer he will make a notable splash. Beats being totally ignored and not getting drafted. Hope the Raiders select him.

By the way I have his teammate junior Nolan Turner ( and fellow Stud Brother) rated a touch higher because Nolan has better FS skills and has innate swiftness. I am a huge fan of both of them.

The Shrine game is this Saturday at 3:00 NFL network.

The NFLPA game is on FS1 at 5:00. Less intriguing and even though Troy Apke was able to jump up big time after his dominating performance in this game these are all long shots. But a few names to keep an eye on. TwentyTwo knows all about WR Jared Koski out of Cal Poly ( speedy). Other players of note are moblie QB Brian Lewerke, TE Charlie Woerner and LB Jordan Lehr to name a few.

The Shrine game is a step up and there are enough intriguing white players to pay attention.

Top of my list are the two wide receivers. Maybe a snowball chance in hell that either gets drafted but both Chris Finke and tiny school star Mason Kinsey are getting some publicity. Both probably run 4.4 40 yard dashes ( Finke see post above) and both have impressed so far in the early practices. Kinsey has been opening eyes with his quickness. Even if just one white WR gets drafted this year I would consider that a mini victory.

Overall this could turn out to be a horrible draft despite a few QBs of great interest. We need players like Finke and or Kinsey to somehow rise from the fog and beat the odds and get drafted but the odds are going to make it tough. But hope springs eternal at this stage until the ugly reality probably shows up.

The deadline for underclassmen declaring for the draft is tomorrow. Hopefully over the weekend I can catch up and give the accurate list of all of our draft eligible players to follow and accurate breakdowns of our guys invited to the Shrine game and Senior Bowl. Looking forward to following our guys in the draft.

Edit: Shrine practices have been taking place this week - I will try to catch up and post what I can.
 
Shrine Game Practice news:

Quarterbacks:

FIU QB James Morgan has supposedly been the best QB during the three days of practice (supposedly the Raiders and Colts really like him). I just read a blurb how uber caste cuck Gary Andersen did not recruit him. Morgan is a Wisconsin kid and Andersen did his best to bring "juice" to Wisconsin during his brief failed tenure.

Princeton QB Kevin Davidson has also played well and supposedly has a big league arm which he displayed during all 3 practice sessions.

The three west QBs are non-white - two of them black quarterbacks and one is undersized Mason Fine. Fine seems to have been the best out of those three.

Wide Recievers:

Berry WR Mason Kinsey has shown well in practices as well - is catching everything - supposedly had three excellent days of practice (this is coming from reading some big time caste blogs too).

Chris Finke is supposedly showing up well as a route runner and catching everything - being typecast as an underneath WR but perhaps he will be a Trent Taylor like surprise come draft day.

Tight End:

USF Mitchell Wilcox - I have read some real good things about him as well as some not so encouraging things.


OL:

Calvin Throckmorton is getting the caste treatment - being pushed inside for the Shrine game. He will be a value pick - can play anywhere on the OL.

Jared Hilbers had a solid three days of practice. He was the other bookend to OT Trey Adams (a once sure fire first round draft pick before getting injured in 2018).

UNC OT Charlie Heck had a good week and generated some positive buzz.

Auburn OT Jack Driscoll sounds like he making a name for himself. Out of all the OL he seems to be getting the most positive buzz from the different sources I am reading.

Michigan OG Jon Runyan - Another solid OL making a name for himself. His father was one of the best OTs in the league in the late 90s/early 2000s with the Eagles.

DL
Derrek Tuszka and Bryce Sterk both have generated mostly positive buzz - encouraging to hear for smaller school guys.

Joe Gaziano supposedly showed up and displayed alot of power with his game.

LB
Casey Toohill has shown up and played well. Seems to have made a name for himself.

DB
Jordan Glasgow making a name for himself with some big hits

Tanner Muse did not attend. Perhaps he will get a senior bowl invite.
 
There are enough white players of note to make the East West Shine game worth watching see post above.

I believe Northwestern MLB Paddy Fisher has decided to return to Northwestern for his senior year. His tackling numbers were a little down this year and perhaps he figures he needs to make a bigger splash next season. He will be part of the 2021 draft and should be drafted. I am uncertain as to where. I am guessing early mid round. I want to wait until his senior season gets underway before I give an actual grade.

Meanwhile Utah State LB David Woodward has declared early. Woodward only played a handful of games before sitting out the rest of the season with an undisclosed injury. I think it was a knee injury but I don't have an exact description of the injury. ACL? I suspect not but why it was undisclosed baffles me.

Not knowing the extent of his injury hampers my grading. But assuming he is back to 100% healthy I give Woodward a much higher grade than the draft geeks. A real sleeper gem who I grade out as a late first early second round pick. Most other media sites have him going around the fourth round. I don't think he will last that long as long as he is given a clean bill of health.
 
Joe Burrow passing on the Senior Bowl. Not a bad decision as he has nothing left to prove. As everyone knows QB is my biggest focus and I cannot recall seeing any QB have this sort of astronomical rise after arguably the best season ever at the QB position. I try to stay away from all the rumors and speculation because it’s all pretty much a waste of time - i am reading a lot of rumors about the bengals potentially entertaining offers from the panthers or dolphins for the first pick.
 
Burrow has torn rib cage cartilage. No way he’s playing in anything before the combine!
 
As I am watching this East West Shrine game that appears to be going nowhere the NFL combine NFL network coverage will be shifted from the mornings to the afternoon and prime time. I am trying to figure out when the 40 yard dash times will be run every day? See below the new schedule. I am extremely worried about this draft.

Late edit. The WRs, TEs and QBs were traditionally on Saturdays but they moved them to Thursday. Not sure why but the LBs and DEs have been moved to Saturdays instead.

Mason Kinsey from tiny Division 3 "Berry" College in GA just had a nice punt return! All of his team mates are so happy for him! Would have been interesting to see him compete at a major Power 5 FBS School...

Fair or unfair the NFL is a copycat league...the SEC by far had the Best Bowl Record 8 - 2...this is the blueprint.

Joe Burrow's two older brothers played LB at Nebraska. That's were he gets the Toughness/ Linebacker mentality. Coach O said he could play Linebacker if he wanted too. Football IQ off the charts; like a coach on the field. Accuracy & Field vision & extending plays with his feet are of course Elite!

Good point 22. I've noticed a lot of talking heads bragging about The SECs success in Bowl Games this year. Good for them. Last year they went 6-5. Year before that 5-6. Not much mentioned of them "dominating" the Bowl Games those year's..
 
This WR Mason Kinsey is becoming very interesting. Lauded for great practices this week I just read an article that said that said he won't be invited to the combine. Why not? I am so sick of the NFL shutting the door on worthy white players.

We have seen teams draft black small school long shots time and again. Many teams jump the shark and take a chance on black players who don't fit the big school profile.

But what has been obvious is that it is beyond rare for teams to stick their necks out for white players of similar ilk. The last player that fits that profile is a German WR the Vikings drafted a few years ago and in form they dropped their interest in him not too soon after.

It really irks me that black players from non conventional backgrounds either get drafted or land an NFL job. I am thinking of these 5'7" black types that return kicks etc.

Lo and behold most all teams shy away from landing a white player who fits that mold like Mason Kinsey.

Where is WR Chris Finke in this game?

I'll have to give credit to the guy that runs DraftDiamonds.com. I first heard about Kinsey through there. Awesome to see him gain some interest but I agree invite him to the damn combine!

Moritz Böhringer was a 6'4 227 pound wideout who ran a 4.4. Also excelled at kick returns. The Bengals had him bulk up to 250 and tried to make him a tight end. The Vikings got a bunch of flack for trying to develop him at WR but I'd imagine he'd be a little raw coming from the GFL.
 
Bohringer was drafted in 2016 and the only other white WR chosen that year was MAC star Daniel Braverman by the Bears in the 7th round. He too never got a chance and looking up his "stats" he only briefly made an appearance in three games without ever catching a pass.

Still at least they gave us a short term thrill on draft day and the buzz lingered until reality settled in later once the season got underway.

I am afraid this draft will resemble the grim 2015 draft where no white wide receivers were chosen and in general was a major downer. But overall I think this draft will be a bit better ( the QB class is quite good) despite the long odds against a white WR being chosen. There are zero white RBs on the grid as well ( although I thought Laird might get drafted last year)) but that has been the case most years. Laird should have been drafted.

((Braverman)) was a speedster and I liked him as a prospect. Surprised his connections couldn't take him farther, but not really considering NFL only covets Black and Poly players.

Apparently Braverman will be playing in the XFL for the St. Louis franchise. He also looks extremely jewy now. Lol.

The Senior Bowl kicks off tomorrow. Both the Senior Bowl and Combine act as a final filtering process to eliminate white athletes from getting any sort of pre-draft focus put on them. Pro Day workouts are usually the last chance any of the surviving white athletes at skill positions get a chance for any sort of exposure to NFL scouts/personnel people. They have done an exceptional job at ignoring white athletes again this year as well as bringing in undeserving black/non-white athletes to the game. There are alot of notable white players who were very good football players and productive from big time programs that did not get invites.

This year is about as bad as I can remember. 19 white players not counting specialists.

Speaking of bloodlines did you know Jake Kumerow is cousins with the Bosa brothers? And his dad, grandad and of course uncle were also in the league. I wonder if that helped him get his foot in the door because no other White D3 receiver or rb has gotten a shot. Even Kumerow is rarely used. That means Mason Kinsey's chances are really slim unfortunately.
