2020 NFL Draft

Nathan Cottrell reminds me of Danny Woodhead! Both small guys who run in the 4.3 range, both could play RB and WR and both have been gunners on special teams. Woodhead never returned kicks but you can bet that he would’ve been good at it. Cottrell deserves a shot, we all know he would’ve put up fantastic numbers in college if he was given a fair shot.
 
I agree Red raider. When Cottrell chose GT I thought it was the perfect place for him to go and get some carries with them running the option and using a rotation of running backs. Why it didn't happen I don't know. What the reason for him not getting his share of the carries his senior year is a complete mystery. He obviously was one of the two best backs GT had. Skin color perhaps?
 
I see in some mock drafts that Tanner Muse is being projected as a 4th round pick. I stand by my assessment that he deserves to go in the 1st.

To show how biased analysts are toward white players Lance Zierlein calls him "slow footed" in his scouting report on NFL.com. Muse ran a 4.41 40 at the combine. He's obviously not slow footed. Zierlein, who is a poor analyst, is scouting based on negative racial stereotypes of white players, which he often does. White players are automatically called slow or unathletic by him. He's scouting by race.

it's pretty simple really, the black athlete bias is built into betting lines which can be exploited. Look at Cam Newton who is 0-8 SU in his last 8 starts but is still talked about like he is some relevant QB. He was actually a 4.5 point favorite in the super bowl vs Peyton Manning! Lamar Jackson was a 10 point favorite over Ryan Tannehill in the divisional round and that didn't work out too well. College football is even better as their are more lab rats running around who DWF think are unbeatable. I wish i could post a youtube channel about it but you know how that would go. Did this site ever consider a Youtube channel?

thats a shame because there would be no racial slurs or things of that nature, just data based information going back 15+ years. Really is hard to believe that talking about race and betting can't ever be a topic of national discussion when there is a such a direct correlation (especially with coaches)
 
Georgia TE Eli Wolf is an athletic monster. At his pro day he ran a 4.43 40 at 6’4.5” 245lbs, and added a 6.72 3 cone drill. Wow, what an athlete, is this what the scouts mean when they say “upside”? Wolf only had 21 catches in his college career, he could become a serious weapon if given a shot in the NFL. I believe Vernon Davis and Evan Engram are the only tight ends that have ever run that fast.

Also here’s a link to BYU safety Austin Lee’s workout numbers. Another athletic safety who I could see making an NFL roster.

Miss. State QB/TE Tommy Stevens ran a 4.49 40 at 6’4” 247lbs, a lot of white guys this year have some impressive athleticism.

West Georgia WR John Hurst’s workout. Extremely good get off and a fantastic route runner. Has been shared a lot on twitter, replies by Brian Hartline and Lance Zierlein. Even Lamar Jackson liked the tweet.

Eli Wolf was so underused first at Tennessee and then at Georgia who would have known? Certainly announcers wouldn't go out of their way to talk up the athleticism of a second thought white player. Even if you factor in the addition of .05 to the hand timed result he is still under 4.5 which is very fast for a TE. And since Georgia primarily used him as a blocker why wouldn't a team draft him? He can block and has high end speed. And is nifty. That is a sizzling 3 cone drill time.

I too was impressed by the Hurst video. He looks very quick and smooth. 4.45 speed with a 38 inch vertical. Good stuff. Will be completely ignored of course but it is too bad NFL scouts are so close minded and caste infected.

Did Austin Lee run the 40? 40 inch vertical is impressive. BYU white DBs are constantly underrated see Daniel Sorensen.

Tommy Stevens is difficult to place. He has some QB skills but also is a tough runner.

Lesson to all aspiring white players who weren't invited to the combine. Follow what these players are doing and produce your own workout videos. Not rocket science. If you want to get any attention put yourself out there.

Thanks for those updates! The fact that Wolf was so underutilized at UGA just goes to show the ineptness of coaches. Fromm struggled this year due to a lack of skill position players and a run heavy offense - a TE like Wolf could of had a positive impact on the offense if he was not relegated to a blocking TE. His Size/Speed is damn impressive.

Yes, Lee ran a 4.59. Not great but not terrible, but at least you know he’s not over-exaggerating his time like a lot of other guys do. His 40 inch vertical is extremely impressive. I hope we can find numbers for another Austin, Austin Hall of Memphis. He’s one of my favorite players in the draft and was a 4 year starter.
 
This post might put a spring in the step of CF member Rocky but crazy times spawn crazy thoughts albeit some here might think I am crazy no matter what is going on in the outside world. But I want to put this out there since so little is going on in the sports world. While the white WR situation is as grim as I can recall where we could go three straight years without one white WR drafted the RB position for the 2021 draft could end up being the best in memory.

The song "The Impossible Dream" might apply but if you believe in semi miracles then don't give up hope. So I present a possible scenario where multiple white running backs get drafted next year.

Zane Dudek-Yale

Jackson McChesney-BYU

Kade Remsberg-Air Force

Garrett Groshek- Wisconsin

Max Borghi- Washington State



I have seen Groshek's name pop up on a mock draft. McChesney will be eligible so if he has an outstanding season who knows. Dudek got back in form late last season so look for a fantastic senior year. Remsberg is tricky. Great speed but plays in the option. Plus a military academy so there are other complications.

When Borghi was first coming up I said he was a cross between Danny Woodhead and CM. Someone stole my idea see below Borghi's draft outlook.

Dudek....Last year at Yale. Needs to perform as well as his first year/ first game of his sophomore year to get drafted....He will get invited to a camp next summer if he doesn’t get picked..We all root for the kid here..Go ZD

McChesney.....He only shined in one game last year......Then disappeared...
I thought they’d use him for four games so not to disrupt his redshirt option (much like TJ McDaniel)....I’m still at odds with how both backs were used last year....McChesney still has three years of eligibility at BYU (I’m pretty sure). He won’t be available next year...
But I’ll be psyched to see him start for BYU for a few seasons.How do missions and redshirting coincide???? Can you run a mission for a couple years and still qualify for red shirting?????? TJ, last year, I’m almost sure, was misused.......

Remsberg....the Air Force speedster....He has to rush for 3000 yards this year to get drafted.....I’ll set the over/under on carries per game at 12.....He will be lucky to sniff 1000.
I’d love to see this kid get a look on draft day.....Most NFL general managers are afraid to even invite a kid like Kade to a camp as an undrafted free agent......Woodhead....

Groshek is awesome.....I can’t help but think Watson has already been granted the starters job.....I saw on Ourlads a bit ago GG was lined up to start and Nakia wasn’t even listed..so I looked to see if NW had gotten dismissed form the program....I didn’t see that and I’d never wish that on a kid...I root for our guys to get a fair shake.....Haaa.....
If I were a GM, I’d rather have a Groshek in the later rounds than a lot of these hyped up guys in the early rounds.....All day....Let’s hope Wisconsin gives the kid 20 carries per game this year.....Along with Horvath at Purdue......

Borghi......I’d love for him to tear it up with the new coach....But I’d also like to see him stay at school for his senior year.....Unless he rips off a 2k yard season......

Nice updates gentlemen! There have been some absolutely beast Pro Day Workouts for our guy's this week! Very impressed with Wolf, who most wrote off as a stiff run blocker.

Hurst is a new name, awesome to see Hartline give him some words of encouragement!

Solid workout for Austin Lee! Along with Glasgow from Michigan should wind up in NFL camp.

*Not sure what to make of Stevens, but his athleticism and build should earn him some looks as an ATH.

**Speaking of Groshek. Reports are that he's dropped 8lbs and is down to 212 for Spring Camp. Excited to see him slim down some, assuming he's expecting more carries this season.
 
In these eerie times I find it fascinating that I cannot find anyone in the known universe discussing the idea of expanding draft rounds especially in light of the fact that rosters will now be expanded with the new agreement. This strange silence coincides with this specter that is hanging over this ( and so many other ) drafts that some worthy white skill players will be totally ignored come draft time. While yes some of the black wide receivers will work out fine but many of them will be nothing but roster clogging stiffs in what they are calling the year of the (black) wide receiver.

WR John Hurst from West Georgia, just one example of more than several, readily comes to mind of a player who looks the part and then some but will be relegated to groveling as a free agent.

By expanding the draft to 8,9 or even 10 rounds it would likely give some white skill players a better shot of getting drafted. Would that mess up the "theme" that the NFL likes to roll out every draft?

For the second straight year a white wide receiver's 40 time is shrouded in mystery. Last year they messed up Andy Isabella's time not once but twice which to my knowledge is the first time in the history of the combine where that happened. Of course they first posted times in the 4.5 plus and 4.4 plus range which prompted Todd McShay to boast on his twitter feed "I told you so" gloating in caste heaven that he predicted Isabella's speed was a myth. Of course in the evening the combine folk corrected Andy's 40 time to the correct number of 4.31. Eat that big mouth McShay.

This year WR Chris Finke decided to run the 40 with a nicked up hammy. I've mentioned this before but talk about a serious lapse of judgement. Finke knowing he wasn't 100 per cent decided instead to skip the on field passing drills and a few other drills. He did manage to jump 40 inches in the vertical. And then there is this. Even nicked up he ran the second fastest 10 yard split at the combine in 1.49 seconds second only to Henry Ruggs. Which still begs this question? What is Chris Finke's real time in the 40 yard dash?

Finally rising high up the draft boards is LB Logan Wilson, another player with a blistering 10 yard split. Some think he could end up in the second round. Also WR JJ Koski plans to do a private workout soon.

Good article on Flacco. Thanks, Shadowlight. Interestingly enough the ESPN writer (Jamison Hensley) incorrectly states that Jalen Hurts ran the fastest 40 yd of any quarterback at the 2020 combine. Not true.. just ask Cole McDonald . Someone should light ESPN up for more Fake News.

Excellent question for a subject that has been carefully avoided by the media, owners and players.

From an owner viewpoint it stands to reason they don't want more rounds because drafted players most likely means they have to pay out more due to guaranteed contracts etc.

For the players I am guessing that the players in the league are practicing a sort of protectionism fearing their chances of losing their jobs increase if the rookie player pool is increased by more draft rounds.

That said you would have thought the subject would at least have been brought up since the new deal expands rosters which should have sparked a new discussion about the idea of adding another round to the draft.

For the purposes of this site though the players being hurt the most by not having an extra draft round or two are the white players who have been routinely ignored during drafts. For years too many white players have lingered on the fringe of the draft pitched just outside the 7th round so I for one would welcome at least one more draft round which in turn would improve the chances of more white players being drafted.

I am never satisfied when a worthy white player is designated an undrafted free agent ( see David Sills) even if their options to shop around are obviously opened up. I want to see white player's names called on draft night. It is a measure of respect and worthiness to get drafted and typically drafted players have a much better chance of sticking than free agents.
 
I bought a draft guide, Lindy's. It's not my favorite one but it's the only one the store had.

As an example of the caste system I give you this. The top two white offensive tackles in the draft are Ezra Cleveland and Ben Bartch. Cleveland tests out to have elite athleticism for the position. Bartch is also said to be athletic but didn't do any testing yet.

Both Cleveland and Bartch are both listed as guards by Lindy's. This is clearly racial slotting. Tackles are perceived to require more athleticism than guards. Therefore, the caste, anti-white thinking goes, whites should not play tackle because they aren't athletic enough. So they relegate them to guard.

Lurkers you will see this racial slotting quite frequently among mainstream media draft analysts. Other positions whites are allegedly not athletic enough for are running back, wide receiver and cornerback. Of course there are many white men who are more than athletic enough to play these positions but they are not allowed to due to racist, anti-white discrimination. The football caste system in action.

Barnes and Noble is closed in my state but I thumbed through a Lindy's draft guide over a month ago while they were still open. I have also seen the Athlon Sports draft guide at CVS etc. and thumbed through that as well. I like yearbooks for MLB ( I bought two this year), college basketball, NBA, NHL and the NFL although I skipped the NFL ones last season pissed off at their reports on incoming white rookies which were inaccurate with caste talk. For college football I like Phil Steele's but it costs a small fortune. I never buy the draft guides though. For MLB Street and Smith's is the standard barer. With Sports Illustrated decimated and dwindled down to sixteen issues a year ( don't get me started) I rely more on yearbooks more than ever.

The problem with the draft yearbooks because of a timing problem is none of them are published post combine let alone post pro days when pro days were being held. You are right they are generally very caste infected. I think Tanner Muse was listed as a LB in one of them and his estimated speed was nowhere near his real speed. They seem instantly dated. They do give you an idea of the names that will be called but I find them lacking in more ways than one.

How about a Caste Football draft guide? Imagine that you walk into a pharmacy and there it is the annual CF draft yearbook as some of our members write up scouting reports. Probably have to "adjust" a few things ( like being kind to certain black players) but heck if I was in charge of the WR department I would list every white WR small or big college known to man. And have something positive to say about them. Ha.
 
Lindy's lists Tanner Muse as an outside linebacker and gives him a 5th round grade. A lot of sources are projecting him as an inside linebacker in a 3-4 or a weakside backer in a 4-3. . I haven't seen any that project him as a safety, though he's shown the athleticism to stick there.

That's ridiculous, hopefully some smart team picks him up earlier and uses him correctly. If he's a 5th round pick seems like he would have to serve some sort of racial apprenticeship and have to waste away on special teams for several years
 
I could see teams using Muse as a Hybrid LB/S especially with defenses adjusting to spread era. Read an article about a month ago saying Packers only had 2or more DL in the field last year something like 30% of the time. Instead they went DB heavy and as a result had 200lb Afflete safeties playing LB was the norm. As another result of this innovative Defense,49ers shredded the Pack for 285rushing yds in NFC Championship!
 
Muse would seem to be the ideal candidate that's been promoted in the league in recent years of big, physical safeties also playing quite a bit in the box as a roving linebacker, often zooming in on move tight ends. Ideal except for one disqualifying characteristic. If he had the right melanin he would be getting lots of hype as a faster version of Cam Chancellor.
 
Yes, a lot of teams use that hybrid strong safety, weakside linebacker type player right now. Muse would fit that role perfectly. A smart team would grab this guy. I think Las Vegas, with GM Mike Mayock, could target Muse.
 
Well here's a new one. In the NFL.com scouting report on linebacker Evan Weaver it lists as one of his weaknesses "Won't be a head-turner at the beach." This apparently is an essential skill for an NFL linebacker.
