But Clemson held their pro day today. For those fools who earlier swung and missed on Tanner Muse's speed he answered their post combine questions about his agility. He ran a quick 4.12 in the 20 yard shuttle and he would have placed 7th at the Combine for the fastest 3- Cone Drill with a 6.84 time. The word in the dictionary is STUD. Eat it raw caste ass wipe pretend draft gurus.

I edited this post. They listed Muse's 40 at 4.38 but I think that was off a combine time. I originally thought he ran the 40 again on his pro day but upon review I doubt it.

Sounds like the remaining pro days will end up being cancelled. What impact this has on the draft has yet to be seen but my guess is the very few of the under the radar white athletes will not get a chance to dispel myths about their supposed lack of athleticism. This could result in really solidifying a coal black draft considering the Senior Bowl and Combine were both terrible in terms of white player invitations and exposure.

That arm strength is impressive for sure. He's a like able kid too - more quietly confident and good character. The tools are all there - I can't see how anyone besides Burrow would go ahead of him to be honest. I sound like a broken record but I'd like him to end up on a time with a veteran QB to start off the season if not sit for a year. Daniel Jones surprised me a ton - he did sit and take reps behind Eli all training camp and then the first few weeks of the season but I am sure having a solid vet like Eli helped out his development tremendously.

Here is his full workout. At the 1:43 mark I believe Bucky Brooks states he can be utilized like a dual-threat but he is not a "true dual-threat" - a subtle jab and total BS.

I thought well at least there will be pro days to focus on since the rest of the sports world went into a deep slumber. Seems like half the country is working from home you mean to tell me they can't set up a video conference for the pro day players?

I agree that pro days give white players a chance to shine and it will adversely affect them the most when pro days are cancelled.

Tanner Muse is a perfect example. Imagine if he didn't get a chance to workout either at the Combine or his very recent pro day? The draft consensus was he was slow. Then after he burned rubber at the Combine they figured he lacked agility. At his pro day workout Muse proceeded to show tremendous hip swivel as he aced the two main agility drills.

He was able to not only shut up his critics but did it in such overwhelming fashion he really stuck it to them. Now he is considered a late second day early third day pick. Albeit he should be under first round consideration but that is business as usual.

The point is if Tanner wasn't afforded the opportunity to work out the possibility of him not getting drafted was real. He was considered a late round/fringe prospect. Some felt he was in the UDFA range. White athletes are often seen as lacking and have to constantly disprove that caste infected theory.

Three wide recievers are of great interest to me.

1- Dan Chisena- Penn State. I fully expect him to blow out the 40 yard dash. I like the idea that the caste drool hounds have to post a fast white player's time.

2- Bailey Gaither-San Jose State. Really curious to see his 40 time. He was blasting out very fast 60 yard dash times in baseball workouts when he was in high school.

3-Chris Finke-Notre Dame. A chance to redeem himself and run a fast 40 if he is healthy by then.

The Penn State pro day was postponed so there is a sliver of hope Chisena will get a chance to run down the road. The San Jose State pro day was set for April 28th and the Notre Dame pro day was scheduled for April 1st. Right now everything is doubtful but hopefully things change for the better.
 
I'm not the only one that thinks Tanner Muse belongs in the first round. The Huddle Report has an analyst named Drew Boylhart who has him going in the first round to Green Bay in his mock draft. In addition to being a good analyst Boylhart tends to be fairer to white players than most.

Guys, my feeling is that the NFL will shut down if this virus continues to wreak havoc come June.
 
We can always rely on weenieworld in times like these with some asinine analysis. Here they are whining about why the NFL has not shut down and that the draft is going to move to a three-day studio show. The fact is that it is essentially a three day studio show - the only thing missing will be the DWFs in the audience cheering for their latest black savior draft pick and walking up to the podium to announce the pick. NFL Teams should still be able to conduct visits via video conferencing software if the NFL allows it. But the change is negligible in terms of the actual draft broadcast because all it is are a bunch of caste clowns (on either BSPN or NFL Network) talking for hours upon hours.

The Los Angeles Times' Sam Farmer reports that the 2020 NFL Draft will no longer be held in Las Vegas due to the coronavirus.
Farmer reports that the NFL's plan now is to have "some type of studio setting with cut-ins from the headquarters of the teams making the selection at a given time" come time for the draft from April 23-25. The NFL thus far has responded to the current global pandemic in an almost stubborn way even as every other sport has essentially shut down. Free agency started as scheduled and as of yet there are no apparent plans to move the actual date of the draft -- this despite the fact that face-to-face team meetings with players and pro days are both no longer in operation. Given that the draft itself is generally so much spectacle, it's fair to wonder just what a three-day studio show covering seven rounds and 255 picks might actually look like in terms of an entertainment vehicle for viewers.

As Chuck Baldwin wrote recently, "Trump says that no more than 10 people should congregate. Okay, that means the U.S. House and Senate should shut down immediately. It means U.S. military troops must shut down operations involving any unit more than squad size. It means Trump's cabinet must immediately go home and stay home.

"It means police departments must immediately disband their shift meetings and dissolve their SWAT teams. It means the FBI, ATF, BLM, etc., must disband all units numbering more than 10. It means the U.N. must close immediately. It means State capitals and county governments must send home all of their clerical staff numbering over 10. And the CDC must close any laboratory or office involving 10 or more people."

This "pandemic" with its double standards and relentless media fearmongering is starting to get ridiculous.

Agreed. It is beyond ridiculous to decide that a July start of training camps that the country is going to be overrun by the virus. But hey, if you call into question the over-the-top way we've addressed the "crisis" you will be shamed by dwid, so I've been laying low.
 
Yes there's no reason to worry, the global death rate has only doubled from 7 to 14 percent in the last few weeks as healthcare systems are overwhelmed. Hopefully you won't have to worry about a loved one over this. I have 2 close relatives , one a doctor and one a nurse and I worry about both... risking their lives while people choose to be ignorant when there's so much information available. This doesn't show symptoms for a few days and can be mild in some people. This is why they are worried it will get worse, especially with so many people ignoring the quarantine measures. I live in a small mountain town and it's never been busier, and the number of cases in Colorado has almost doubled in the last few days.

There's no proof it will get better in warmer months, in case you weren't aware, it IS the warmer months in the southern hemisphere yet places like Brazil and Australia both have close to 2000 cases each. I highly doubt the NFL season will be happening as scheduled. Hopefully the anti malaria drug works but there is some doubt
 
Beast workout for Brown's Michael Hoecht !!

Hoecht, a 6040, 295 pound defensive tackle ran a 4.65 forty yard dash and a 4.68 in his second attempt. He was not finished there though. He ran a 7.05 three cone, had a 4.21 short shuttle, finished with a 33.5 inch vertical with a 9 ft. 2 inch broad jump.

Hoecht also had 23 reps at 225. CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO from his pro day.

I'm reading Weenieworld's top WR rankings, and am less than impressed. Their number one WR, CeeDee Lamb, has average speed and athleticism, and his lack of speed is obvious in one of the two highlights they show of him, where he catches the ball and eludes a few defenders while lumbering down the field.

Number two is Jerry Jeudy, who has sub-par athleticism as measured by SPARQ results from the Combine. His best SPARQ result is his 40 time at 4.46 (71st percentile, pretty good but far from fantastic), with his broad jump and vertical jump below 50 percentile, and his 20 yard dash was a pathetic 3 percent. Yet according to Weenieworld, Jeudy is "an absurdly athletic burner" who "boasts a killer blend of rocket propulsion movement, Ferrari body control, and pool shark feet." But the writer isn't done, adding, "When you see a sub-200 pound SEC receiver with high-octane athleticism, ludicrous body control and polished ball skills, your mind really only goes to one place. . . "

Oh, but he does acknowledge, "If there’s another nitpick, it’s that Jeudy turned in a surprisingly poor NFL Combine showing, with a shuttle in the Antonio Gandy-Golden range, the same vertical as Gabriel Davis and a broad jump near the bottom of his position group."

So he's perhaps the greatest athlete of all time, who just happened to "turn in a surprisingly poor NFL Combine." Talk about suffering from cognitive dissonance! Or perhaps just blinded by ideology.

I'm sure at some level of consciousness, the White guys know they're getting screwed over at these combines. I give them credit though for getting out there and giving it their best, "come what may".

That's probably the stupidest made up term I have heard them come up with yet. A few of us have called out these "experts" over the years for just making up words/sayings that are complete non-sense. It certainly wins the award for the 2020 draft.
 
Yes indeed! Liberty's "Buckshot" Calvert was mentioned regularly during College Football Weekly Wrap up! Definetly has some "It" factor!
James Morgan(Fla.Intl) is another QB to watch for !
Liked watching Brian Lewerke at Michigan State... he has been a bit inconsistent...but if he gets in the right situation he could be one to watch.

It will be interesting to see which Round 227lb DB Tanner Muse (4.42) will land?
DB Ashtyn Davis from Cal ...could almost be in the Erik Harris category Caste speaking?
Would be nice to see DB Austin Lee get picked in the Later Rounds...but he may have to go the way of his Undrafted BYU predecessor Daniel Sorenson ....

Small school sleeper Ben Bartch (St.John's MN) is getting more attention...should be a Day 2 pick
 
Always great to hear from TwentyTwo. Rumor is the Pats are interested in the best TE in the draft Cole Kmet?

The white wide receiver situation is marinated in frustration. Speedsters named above like Gaither and Chisena have been robbed of an opportunity to blaze through a 40 yard dash for their now canceled pro days.

Then there is Chris Finke. Like the players above he is being C- blocked as there doesn't seem to be a way he can erase his false 40 yard dash reading at the combine. That registered 40 yard dash time of 4.57 does not seem accurate and for the life of me I don't know why Finke decided to run with a tweaked hamstring. He did register a 40 inch vertical which displays his athletic explosion but it is a shame his real time for the 40 is still hidden. I think the 4.4 range seems right and then you have a mid to late round slot/punt returner NFL draft prospect. For now he is considered a fringe draft candidate. Boils me.

The bottom line is this. More often than not black wide receivers etc. are assumed to be fast and white athletes are assumed to not be fast. That the above receivers have little chance of disproving that line of thinking they are essentially screwed. Black players get the benefit of doubt. White players don't have that luxury. So not having pro days is a killer for the many white players who weren't invited to the combine.

Scout guru Lance Zierlein has made a fool of himself. Lets take a look at two players he thinks are athletically underwhelming.

First DE Kenny Willekes. At the combine he was second only to a 340 pounder in the bench press with 32 reps. He was in the top quarter in the vertical and was in the top half in the broad jump. In arguably the most important measurement for defensive ends he had a superb 1.69 ten yard split. That means he can get off quickly with the necessary closing speed to create havoc. In fact his numbers at the combine are basically exactly like the Charger's superb Joey Bosa who as we all know is a top tier edge player.

Kenny was sick of hearing the slights so he produced a video that slams dunk his mealy mouthed critics. In this video off his twitter feed he displays the flexibility of a gymnast, terrific coordination ( often lacking in straight ahead black players) and attributes associated with top wrestlers. Looks like a first round draft pick or a second rounder at best when you factor in the most important thing which is play on the field where he shined. You be the judge see below. Amazing stuff from a 6'4" 265 pound athlete.

No need to rehash the misinformation on our resident stud here safety Tanner Muse. The below video is telling. Unlike most black defensive backs who we are told have 4.3-4.4 speed Tanner actually runs down open field runners with the speed of a deer. And man do I love those sticks. He is the Taysom Hill of defense. You can line him up anywhere on defense. He can rush the passer, tackle like a linebacker and ball hawk like a top safety. Looks like a first/second round talent to me.

To echo The Hock that last bit about the mind "going somewhere" makes Liberace seem straight. These feverish pseudo queer religious orgasmic spasms that too many in the sports media succumb to when analyzing certain black skill players numbs the mind.

That elephant like 20 yard shuttle time by Jeudy does give one pause.
 
The other Rodent Nagy is Jim Nagy who runs the Senior Bowl. Here is what he is saying about the overrated Utah St QB - the one who struggled this year and threw 17 ints.

Reese's Senior Bowl executive director Jim Nagy said that Utah State QB Jordan Love possesses the "highest ceiling of any quarterback in this draft."
"I equate him to Patrick Mahomes in the sense that they both have playmaking ability and really natural arm talent," said Nagy, before later adding that "[if] this clicks for Jordan and he ends up in a good situation like Pat did in Kansas City, it could look crazy if he ends up outside the top 10." Nagy had a chance to see Love in action up close at the Reese's Senior Bowl earlier in the evaluation process. In his most recent mock draft, ESPN's Mel Kiper pegged the signal-callers to the suddenly-quarterback-less Patriots at No. 23. We would not be surprised if Love climbs a little higher than even that come the draft.
