So this is the big week where the Big Ten ( and Mountain West) jump into the fray. Interesting games abound. But there is a problem. Isn't there always? All the juicy games are packed in during the day but the early evening games aren't much to write home about. I might veer off to watch the World Series. And once again BYU is on what I call the "Midnight Special." Air Force plays a late night one too.
My clicker isn't as fast as the one I used to have making it a chore trying to watch multiple games and once. It is much easier to watch one main game and watch a secondary back up when the chance allows.
No need to go over the plethora of games except to say the marquee Big Ten game out of the chute is the Nebraska-Ohio State matchup. Instead of the Clemson game I will get NC-NC State. Normally that game wouldn't be of big interest but after watching the NC State defense last week I will keep an eye on LB Payton Wilson and the boys.
Although most of my attention will be on the Giants-Eagles game tonight I will give a look in on the Arkansas State- Appalachian State game. Senior WR Brandon Bowling and junior WR Thomas Hennigan are off to solid starts this season but they are not on the NFL draft scouts radar. I'll translate that into English. They were never born and don't exist.
Enjoy the games. Almost a normal week for a change.
