Penn St with a lousy showing again. Franklin like Haurbaugh is a hype man who has yet to deliver anything of substance.

I wonder when the last time we had a 200 yard rusher and receiver in the same week was?

Fresno State transfer LB Justin Rice had another monster game for Arkansas State today, 14 tackles, 3 TFL, 2 sacks. His season totals are 53 tackles, 12.5 TFL, and 6 sacks. NFL lookout for this man!

Thanks as usual TwentyTwo. Nice new wrinkle providing highlights of Trammell and Gaither too. I wanted to roll down your wrap but I screwed it up.

Speaking of both Trammell and Gaither, both are off to hot starts and have had very fine careers. Gee I wonder why they aren't on draft boards. Anybody here have a clue on that? Just ridiculous. Right now I have a mid to late round grades on both of them and both should be invited to the combine. Will any of the above actually happen? Probably not.

Is Iowa playing flat football because of the off season black crap junk that became public? They don't look like themselves. I am sure they miss their terrific home crowds too. The Northwestern Snow Patrol were great. But was it me or was this game boring?

Be that as it may I feel CB Riley Moss is draft worthy. Too early to project rounds but to me he has what it takes. He did give up two or three first downs yesterday but they were little curl patterns. Size, speed, awareness, body control, tackling ability he checks them all. Time will tell but I am convinced even at this early stage he deserves to get drafted. There is this small matter of him being white which might affect the scouts in an itsy bitsy manner ( how is that for understatement of the year) but he is a terrific athlete and has the talent to play in the NFL. And I am not saying that just to be cute.

One player who should be rocketing up the draft boards is Ohio State's LB Pete Werner. Snuffing out Penn State's top TE, Werner is more than just a great cover LB. Last night he was pulverizing people. Towards the end of the game while Chris Fowler and Herbie were babbling about nothing Werner laid a gigantic ( and legal) smack causing the Penn State player to drop like a sack of lead. Another player rising is TE Jeremy Ruckert who had two TDs last night. Very athletic and an improving blocker. Speaking of TEs look out for 6'6" Oklahoma's Austin Stogner. Just a sophomore. First round pick down the road?

Alabama's Slade Bolden had a quiet night ( wasn't targeted much at all) but he also is their punt returner too and looks very comfortable in both his WR and PR roles. All of a sudden Alabama is worth watching.

While Texas WR Jake Smith didn't have a breakout game it was pretty darn good. He did catch the most important TD of the game. Next step is to get him out in space.

More youngsters. WV WR Reese Smith had a bad game last week. He had a 2-23 stat line yesterday. At least they didn't bench him full time. Wake wins again. Freshman WR Taylor Morin is having a solid campaign. Finished with a 4-45 stat line. His teammate Nolan Groulx had a couple of short grabs but he hasn't really found his footing this year.

And two new freshman faces from Kansas. WR Kyler Pearson ran back a couple of kick offs but didn't gaining much yardage. WR Luke Grimm #80 looked very comfortable with a 4-53 stat line. Which included a 36 yarder. Hope this is just the beginning for them.

Too bad WR Alec Pierce of the Bearcats had to leave the game with a shoulder injury.

Chuckle of the day? Harbaugh losing.

Harbaugh I'll give the minority opinion, he is just giving the boosters and the leftist political crowd what they want, a black team, and not doing a good enough job recruiting. Maybe there is something behind the scenes which keeps the "Stars" from going there or if he gets those precious "Stars" they don't mesh, that is beyond me.

I just imagine all those rich goofs who provide the bulk of those programs' cash tell the AD and the HC "copy Alabama" easier said than done of course. First you have to wade thru the corrupt trash of the college talent evaluators, then when you attract real football players you have to keep the sociopathic TNB under control without being called "racist", ask Ferentz.

I give Harbaugh a little benefit because he recruited and made the main man Toby G.

I think Fitzgerald does a great job of recruiting, I believe he is told to not destroy the NU brand as a brains school even if his players have to fake it and he goes out of his way to wade thru the corrupt "Stars" system to get overlooked talent white or black, and then when he stops with the silly Big 12 gimmick ball his teams are competitive if not great. I think this gives him an advantage over the second tier Power 5 schools whose HC and AD are mainly scam artists whose gig is to attract some "Stars" and bullish*t the boosters to get that big contract. Then those stars turn out to be turds, if they are good football players they often turn out to be awful teammates.

The local cow college pays its HC 4mil the best you can say about his program is lack of felony indictments and a spiffy BLM march thru campus sans the stupid cloth masks on most of the aggrieved victims of oppression.

Not a bad weekend. I have noticed a few players missing in action like Rice CB Andrew Bird and UNLV RB Chad Maygar.

The MAC and PAC 12 starts up next week - hopefully we get some more pleasant surprises.

Wow watching that Bailey Gaither TD makes me wonder just how fast he is. A lot of times guys running on the football field look a lot slower than they really are but he was FLYING!! I wonder what his 40 time is, sub 4.3? He is definitely a high 4.3 guy at the least.

He may get a look! We were all surprised when Miller was drafted! Even though he was deserving.

Could only find his one TD from last night where he blew right past the CB. Starkel has a monster arm too. Tweeted that highlight to the Senior Bowl, Jim Nagy of the Senior Bowl and Dane Brugler. 6 games left - he has an outside shot at 1k yards which would be great considering the shortened season. It all depends on his health and the health of Starkel.

Gaither like John Rhys Plumlee is the rare white speedy baseball athlete who opted for football yet was considered a real baseball prospect coming out of high school. Unlike Plumlee, Gaither ditched baseball altogether. Neither one were considered top tier baseball prospects but solid types. If they were top tier they would never have stepped on a football field ever again.

Now in high school Gaither burned rubber and ran the fastest 60 yard dash at a camp in 6.35 seconds. That is damn fast. I think anywhere between 4.28 to 4.40 seconds ( I agree ) seems about right. Just the type of white speedster the combine likes to ignore. Remember Scotty Miller was not invited to the combine despite having big college numbers.

As for Gaither's draft prospects I am not overly optimistic. He is not on the radar at all and he would have to put up humongous numbers this year to even get noticed. But never say never and the hope is yes he does overcome the barriers and finds a way to get drafted.

Weenieworld thinks that Trammel is small for a WR. Another way they try to write off white athletes.

Rice senior WR Austin Trammel caught seven passes for 143 yards and three touchdowns in Saturday's 30-6 win over Southern Mississippi.

As Mike Collins is to the team's recent QB history, Trammel is to the team's recent history at WR. Though just 5-foot-10 and 182-pounds, Trammel is a force all around the field for the Owls, proving again to be their best big play threat. Trammel snagged a pair of touchdowns last weekend, somehow topping it this week with a trio of 'em. Moreover, he earned 97 yards more than any other receiver on Rice's team on the evening, which put him at well over half of the team's overall receiving yards.

the fact that Harbaugh is playing an ooga booga at QB just shows how disturbed he really is. He will get whats coming to him this year with a 3 or more loss season with that black quarterback

Let's not forget he picked the toucan to be his QB with the 49ers. I'd love to see Michigan have an ugly season which results in Haurbaugh getting fired.

If only, Harbaugh had that permission at Stanford, not so much at Michigan where he was exposed as another Caste System scamster. I think old Jim should cut a check to Toby G. without Toby running roughshod over the athletes would Jim have gotten his offers, I doubt it.

its very simple, don't take the job unless you can recruit you're kind of players, build it into the contract or walk (the strongest negotiating position is being able to walk away and mean it)

We agree it's simple in theory. I myself have gotten on twitter and asked a couple of coaches to do that, not Harbaugh though and frankly it is too late for him anyway. The last one I asked was Franklin on his official twitter page of course no response whatsoever. His tweets get a couple of responses at best and I did not get the usual shrieks of "racist" since no one was there to read it.

Look at it this way if we don't ask for anything we get nothing.
